Mais, lorsque j'ai su et compris que son référencement naturel était affreux, alors que j'en ai absolument besoin, je l'ai instantanément abandonné. Pros Avec Wix, il est très facile et rapide de créer un site. Avec une interface assez claire et éloquente. Ce qui est très pratique lorsque l'on débute. Cons Wix démontre rapidement toute ses limites et ne parvient jamais à tenir ses promesses. Déja, au niveau du référencement naturel qui est mauvais pour ne pas dire inexistant. Aussi, les 500 modèles de templates se ressemblent tous et ne sont pas du tout inspirants. Et il est très difficile voire impossible de travailler à partir d'une page blanche. Over the years they have changed. Ive been a customer since 2014 so thats 5 years going on 6 years and all of the changes i 100% approve of, I'm sure they'll continue to become even better as the years progress. If you want a very fancy website this may not be the one, but for 90% I think you can do just fine with Wix! Pros It is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides a nice look and feel. There are some fairly advanced things it can do out of the box that make your site look very modern. The UI and settings etc are all very simple and intuitive Cons If you want to do more advanced things on your webpage then it becomes difficult in the main view, so you have to switch to the developer view which is then just as difficult as before for a non-professional website builder like myself. Also stop sending me "Limited time offers" of 50% off twice a week, every single week. It's absolutely ridiculous and makes the company and marketing team look so stupid. Just have a lower price and stick to it, or actually give real discounts - if something is permanently half off, then the higher price just isn't real. I will not really recommend Wix. Pros Wix is ideal for small blogs that focus on publishing very light content and are not too enthusiastic about high website load speed and technical support. It provides 99.99% uptime services as they have on a couple or more servers running on AWS. It's worthtrusting as they are a legitimate webhosting company. Cons They are not the right company if you want to build websites that will load at higher speeds. They have a very poor customer service and offer paid technical assistance, which competitors like Namecheap and interserver offer them for free. Frankly speaking, Wix is not easy to use.It only offers a 14-days trial period while a few others grant upto 30-days. It's better for just the consulting site but if you're looking for a simple ecommerce setup, Wix isn't a bad way to go. Pros Wix is easy to use and you can create a site pretty quickly. You don't need a whole lot of experience to connect a domain. It also integrates with my shipping software, Shippo, so that minimizes errors. Cons There are obvious drawbacks to using the store the way I do, which only allows members I accept to place orders on it. You can't save payment information or customize the sign up page to get information you want or need. Cons There are many aspects of Wix that are clunky and feel like afterthoughts, including the need to save each change that you make in a pop up window as you complete them, otherwise it will revert. This can make the workflow difficult, especially if you are familiar with more linear editors/builders. I'm frequently discovering new features to make my website better. There is a lot of flexibility while still being fairly easy to use. The price for the first year is reasonable for my needs. Cons Can be slow on some computers. Pricey after the first year. Sometimes it is difficult to edit a particular column. My biggest complaint is the calendar function. The syncing function does not work well. Blocking time on the calendar has to be done for each individual block and is very tedious and time consuming. I wish I could bulk add blocks or even drag and drop, especially since the sync function doesn't work well. I found it extremely easy to use since I don't know web design on my own. I didn't have a big budget so Wix saved me on that score! I was able to design two beautiful websites for no charge. You can upload your own pictures or choose from theirs. They have a huge selection of themes and fonts and colors, so you can make this uniquely your own. Cons Some of the features are hard to find. A few times I had a couple issues publishing pages. I would update changes yet the changes never appeared on my site. I had to keep doing the changes over and over until they finally appeared, which was incredibly frustrating. Figuring out how to draw boxes or separate sections can be quite hard too.
