Still new to it so if I find anything that drops this perfect rating I'll re rate it. Pros It's pretty easy to use. I've only used GoDaddy before, it's conversion from website to Mobile website is a little harder but other than that I like it more. If you're a small business order and run LLC with LegalZoom they have a package with wix at a discount price so it's all very convenient and cost effective. Cons Just the web to Mobile website editing. You have to edit them separately to make them work right which takes just a little extra time. It is basically there for the sake of being there, the business itself doesn't require it but it's always good to have one to publicise the existence of the business and most of the people usually consider going through the companies' website anyways. Pros Easy interface to design a website, great tools for traffic insights, great templates for a new user. Templates help quite a lot for users with basic web development knowledge. Cons The SEO optimisation is limited and personally I haven't seen any increase in traffic or the ranking. We have looked at several other platforms, but no one else could accommodate our unique restaurant type. Pros I love the ability to customize our page for our restaurant! Our menu changes daily and is never the same 2 weeks in a row. People order anytime from Friday night until the day of until 2p for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Wix is the only platform out there that will allow us to create different menus for each day and each week. Cons I wish Wix wouldn't time out or take forever to load when typing in descriptions. Also if someone orders for more than one night I wish it would recognize it and add the additional cost for delivery for each night. It's SO easy to move elements exactly where you want them without having to code it yourself (which I used to do before I found Wix.) My sites look amazing. I like that I can choose a premade template and then customize to my liking or start from a blank page. Pros I like how user-friendly the dashboard is. I've tried out some of the more popular competitors cuz that's what search engines prefer - supposedly- but it felt very overwhelming and I didn't like it. It's very easy to connect and disconnect your domain from your Wix site. And the customer service has always been helpful & pleasant. Cons There are a few features that Wix either completely missed the memo on or left behind but shouldn't have. Like the commenting feature for e-commerce stores. You can have individual comments on blog posts but not on product pages? Or pre-schedule feature for blog posts. In the old Wix blog post editor, this was possible.
