Pros: It is easy to use, easy to learn, easy to communicate with staff members.

keeps tract of everything needed to keep an automotive repair shop running smooth without valuable information getting missed or forgotten.

Shopmonkey keeps our shop running smoothly and making sure we are making the money we need for our services.

Cons: I cant put my finger on a part of the program i dislike.

there is such good communication in the shopmonkey community as well as direct communication with the development team that if anything does come up where something is proving difficult or just harder then needs be or something could be added to improve work flow, the team is there to listen and make improvements!

It's a community and a supportive one. In the business world, that is something that is hard to find these days.

Overall: My overall experience with Shopmonkey has been a great pleasure as they make my day and workflow move smoothly and as it should while providing me with more tools then I need.

I look forward to growing my business with the help of such a great software platform to work with!

Pros: The Software Support Team is the #1 reason to use this software. Any company can build an app that functions, but the team at Shopmonkey has not only built an amazing app, but they are always available to fix any bugs you may run into immediately. They are constantly in the process of growing the app and adapting it to their clients use. They care about you, your business and how the software works for you.

Beyond their support, the app features are virtually perfect and always growing. The ability to send text confirmations and receipts to clients got me hooked. The way they've set up the intended workflow is simple, but powerful. There is no jumping from screen to screen to complete one task or look up information.

Cons: This app only supports quickbooks online for accounting integration and Stripe payment gateway for in-app payments. I use XERO and Paypal for my business - literally the only downfall.

While having these integrations would be nice, the value of this product as a whole makes up for anything it lacks.

Overall: You can stop reading reviews. EVERYONE loves this app. If you have an automotive business, this is the app you need.

Pros: The UI design is very modern, fluid and well put together. Looks great and works great as well. Functionality such as being able to simply text/email customers notes, estimates, questions, etc. instead of having to spend time on the phone is fantastic. The design is very self-explanatory for the most part and easy to jump right in and start using. Tech support is excellent, am able to talk directly to the guys who build the software often within 30 seconds of needing support, and they take suggestions for improvements and apply them quite often. We previously used a very popular shop management software and hated it, made the jump to Shop Monkey and have not been disappointed.

Cons: Nothing major to report, just a few odds and ends here and there, few functionality/display issues, but tech support is always right on top of it and releases are put out relatively often with bug fixes.

Overall: We took a gamble jumping on board and have been extremely pleased with the Shop Monkey software. The guys running it are easy to get ahold of, receptive to bug issue changes, and talk to you like an actual person vs. some tech support agent from overseas reading off a prompt. All the functionality we need as a shop we can do with it, its been an invaluable tool for us as we are a new shop and any assets we can get to help us get going are awesome to have. I would absolutely recommend Shop Monkey to any small or large shop out there!

Pros: In seeking a modern day solution to manage a high performance shop - Shopmonkey stood out with an intuitive interface, current and upcoming feature list but more importantly the very personal customer service and responsiveness. These guys think outside the box, applying some of the clean, effective features and experiences available to other industries (retail, food) and bringing it to the car world. We finally can go paperless, mobile with great customer communication and efficient in-house productivity.

Overall: Gaining efficiency in internal operations as well as greatly improving customer experience. The intuitive interface making quoting and invoicing easy and visual - which also helps our customers interpret our work. The software developers are in-tune with technology thus making the overall experience available on any device, reliably and consistently. Its currently the backbone of our service department, aiding in time management, billing and organization.

We are looking forward to the growth of the platform and taking advantage of more and more features.

Pros: Being able to send sms messages with pictures to customers, the best customer support I have ever received from a software company, and it is constantly being updated. When I first did the online demo last year I was already sold but had a few suggestions to improve...before I even signed up they had already put most of what I mentioned into the software.

Cons: I didn't' have it when I was managing a Harley Dealership with 15 Techs.

Pros: When I decided that we needed to make a big change in the shop, I demoed close to 20 different softwares. Shop Monkey seems to be the only one headed in a positive direction with lots of momentum. It's 80% of what I need now and will work with them on the rest. They are doing something pretty incredible and I want to be along for the ride.

Cons: It's still new so there's a little ways to go..but that's what I like too. It isn't 20 years old with updates to make it 'modern'

Overall: I've been able to watch things closer than ever.

Pros: Perfect CRM for keeping track of your customers, conversations, love the email and text features that saves in the customers accounts history.

Cons: It is a fairly new business so when we first started with them about a year ago it was a work in progress but the upside they always were open to suggestions and updated and changed things ASAP for better work flow.

Pros: We really like be able to generate quote and forward those to our clients for review. Then being able to change that to an active work order and then a completed invoice. Also, its great to be able to track communications and activities by work order.

Cons: In addition to the VW service shop, we have our own fleet of vehicles. ShopMonkey is not really set up for fleet management - so we are on another system for that. Would be great to be able to integrate the two in the future.

Pros: This is a small team, their passion shows! Their communication was top notch through the whole trial process, they were so fast to respond. They also have a full featured trial period which makes all the difference. Parts integration is neat, it can shop all the big name stores at once through PartsTech integration. Labor is pulled from MOTOR very quickly, very impressed. The customer communication is nuts, I can send pics, text and email quotes and invoices, they can authorize work from their phones and even pay on the spot! Incredible.

Cons: .... Well NAPA TRACS had a pretty sweet 1998 looking grey .BMP wallpaper that I'll miss.... Remind me of my youth spent with windows 3.1 playing DOOM. Good times guys, good times.

Overall: Fully pushed my business into the Modern age. It makes me look very good for a small town family shop.

Pros: We love that it is evolving with the needs of the industry. We also love that it can be used to practically run the paperwork and the shop without alot of effort. Any time that I need help with something, I can call, text, or email and the problem is fixed or the issue is addressed almost immediately with fast and friendly service. They continue to add things that I need and are very helpful with ideas that I hadn't thought of.

Cons: It is only compatible with quickbooks online and we do not use quickbooks online. Other than that, there are not really any concerns that we have at this time that haven't already been addressed.

Overall: We benefit from this program because it makes it easier to keep track of our orders, inventory, timesheets, payroll, profitability, reporting, and customer interactions. We searched high and low for a great program and are lucky to have found Shopmonkey.

Pros: It's lightweight, works great on most platforms and screen sizes, updates instantaneously across users, and ease of use made deployment a breeze. My favorite feature is the Fleet tab, most of my customers are govt agencies and have multiple vehicles. SM gives me the ability to keep all of the work in one easy place. I have demoed multiple shop management programs and Shop Monkey clearly gives the best bang for our buck.

Cons: The fact that it does not integrate with Quickbooks enterprise. We looked into getting QB online but the customer and transaction limits prohibit us from using it. I am hopeful that the desktop interface will roll out sooner than later and we can witness the power of this fully operational program!

Overall: The ability to track vehicle; workflow, scheduling, technician productivity, and shop productivity.

Can't say enough good things. Fantastic! Easy to use! Powerful!

Pros: How efficient the software is. It gives you everything you need. In this business time is money and being able to write quotes/invoices quickly makes this the most valuable shop management software on the market. The support is great also. I had some pretty basic questions early on and the guys were right on top of it making sure I understood everything. There are tons of different options for shop management software but most of them are outdated and not easy to use. Shopmonkey connects you with your customers like no other product on the market!

Cons: I would really love to be able to critique something about the software but after 4 months I still have 0 complaints.

Overall: Without Shopmonkey I can honestly say I would not be experiencing such early success of my new shop.

Pros: I have evaluated many shop management systems and this by far is the best! If you own a shop you need this software! Just try it and use it and you will be glad you did!

Cons: I wish I could give the customer service more stars! Some recommendations I have made were already on the table and the ones that weren't were implemented quickly! you just don't get that from a software app company!

Pros: The user interface is clean, simple, and straightforward for 90% of the system's functionality. A few tasks take a quick lesson but the ShopMonkey personnel are extremely responsive and are always willing to explain the process or make changes to the software if required.

For us, the analytics have been a great feature and most of all, time saver. I used to spend countless hours on spreadsheets and monitoring results. ShopMonkey gives you all the information you need.

Cons: Haven't found anything negative. The company is growing and responding to their customers feedback. I'm sure ShopMonkey will only expand their capability and functionality.

Is easy to use and communicate with our team and customers. Cloud base software moves with you.

Pros: Our favorite features are: Appointment Confirmation, Reminders, Texting, Emailing, Notes, and VIN Lookup. We can communicate with our customers through text within the program and have a record of the conversation or pictures shared. Customers can also approve quotes via text, this one is a must if you work with used auto dealers. Prior to Shopmonkey we relied on multiple logs to handle our daily operation. We are thankful for Shopmonkey, and Ashot who really know and speak technology!!

Cons: There is no Integration with Xero, and no current app at this moment Deleted invoices are permanently deleted.

Pros: Easy to use, very informational, accurate tracking of parts and labor.

We have used this for every vehicle that we work on and the response from my staff has been very positive and has made the workflow to each part of the business and worker very fluid.

Cons: Being a small business and using square for 95% of our transactions we must be able to break down and show the credit card/processing fee to the end user. Shops also need to be able to add tire, oil and other disposal fees associated.

Shopmonkey is the future software of any automotive shop!

Pros: Design, Ease of use, all important information is right in front of you when you login! (Revune, Current, Expected income, Avg Part Order Margins, Avg Order Ticket.

Cons: Can't take payments from within (However you can enter payment info and take it offline) I spoke with them they said this feature is coming soon.

Overall: You really have to sign up for a free trial to experience this revolutionary new software!

Pros: Ease of moving things around and also being able to communicate within the system on every work order.

Cons: No net 10 or 30 capability. No way of entering vendor invoice cost to a specific part or work order.

Overall: The owner is great and willing to listen to you as the customer and help you every step of the way.
