Pros: Most of the Infrastructure is solid, and easy to setup such as Veeam, Vcloud, and their OSmossis. Setting up new Servers is relatively straight forward and easy to use. Servers work and are are solid, meaning they do not go down when you don't want them too. All of the Servers we use are faster than our in-house, and after a bit of tweaking, perform better.

Cons: Veeam is not as straight forward to use. It is a bit convoluted with not much documentation if you need assistance using it. Many times I find myself Googling how to do something. Vcloud had 2 options for setting up new Vapps. After trying it one way, found the only way to build one that would boot was with build a Vapp. Again documentation lacking on this feature.

Overall: Overall it has been easier working with the Virtual Servers than in-house. Multiple ways to access them helps if you need access outside the office and they just work.

Pros: all the great functionality of a physical server without having to worry about physical server. Easy to upgrade without have to take something apart to do so.

Cons: my downfall would be is that when the server is down i cant locally connect to it to see if it is a simple fix me me to resolve or not

Overall: our old stuff was seriously outdated. with new VR servers are hosted on newer equipment so less worried about the age of our old stuff keeping up the load we are running. easily more accessible from anywhere with the other tools we are running.

Pros: It reduces the size and amount of hardware needed in a server room and saves power. The servers can be set up quickly and with many users connected to the same machine is more "green". Backups are also offsite so it prevents against failure or damage and can be restored much quicker than having your own servers. Since the network becomes less technical there is increased connectivity speeds.

Cons: Cost goes up with number of staff connecting, how much storage space required, backup options and support costs. Using 2 factor authentication with hosted services can be difficult to implement as several parties are involved.

Overall: Being hosted is great if you move offices - staff can work from home, from the old/new location so there is no downtime.

Pros: Runs with minimum interruption. Down time has been minimum.

Cons: When there are outages - downtime communication is weak

Overall: The overall performance is strong; however, when there are challenges, downtime, outages, the support team, while pleasant, do not have a strong customer support / documentation protocol. Many did seem to be aware with what is going on - meaning, the messaging from the system must be ineffective or needing improvement.

Cons: hate when server goes down for one reason or another and i cant walk up to it and do the reboot it may or may not need

Overall: we've been using them for years. since everything is hosted it made our office move a breeze. havent had any outages except when our circuit was down but that has nothing to do with the cloud servers

Pros: The Evolve IP team is responsive. We have had no complaints in regards to the Evolve IP team.

Cons: Be sure to extensively pilot your virtual solution. We found compatibility issues with several applications and platforms. Implementation was costly.
