Cognism has been easy to use and really helpful. I’m satisfied with how it works and the results I’ve seen so far.

Cons

all for me is good, in the end I usually find what I want. Sometimes Cognism only shows the company’s main number, and I’d really like to get the direct number of the customer instead.

Pros

Excellent source for GDPR-compliant contact research. Used by our outreach team for lead management and by our sales team. Basis for direct contact by phone, but also by email or via LinkedIn. Increased efficiency in research.

Cons

Focus and the best data quality in Europe, increasing quality in North America. I don't know of any way to map your own sales organizations and assign accounts—keyword: book of business.

Cons

Overall, very positive. Cognism helps me move faster, stay organized, and focus my time on outreach and conversations instead of manual research. I’d recommend it for LATAM teams, just expect a bit more validation in the smaller markets.

Pros

Reliable contact data and great LATAM coverage. It is fast to build targeted lists, find the right personas, and get clean info without bouncing between tools. Super helpful for high outbound volume.

Cons

Data accuracy can be hit or miss in smaller LATAM countries, so I sometimes have to double check key contacts before outreach.

Cognism has been a positive overall experience. The data accuracy, especially for mobile numbers, is excellent and integrates well with our CRM. It reliably speeds up our sales outreach process.

Pros

What I like best about Cognism is how smoothly it integrates with our existing tools. The Salesforce integration is fantastic for keeping our data clean and saving reps time. I also love the pop-up notifications right inside Sales Navigator, it's incredibly helpful to get quick contact information without leaving the page. Overall, it’s a very user-friendly platform that simply makes our outreach much more efficient.

Cons

What I dislike most is the limited data reach in the APAC region. While it's great for US/EU, getting comprehensive contact details in Asia Pacific is often challenging. Also, I occasionally notice some app slowness, especially when running large list exports, which can slightly disrupt workflow.

Pros

I’ve used a lot of sales tools, but Cognism stands out because it’s both powerful and super easy to use. The data is accurate, and the platform gives us a lot of flexibility to connect with leads in different ways. We’ve seen better results from our campaigns and are able to reach more of the right people. If you're looking for a reliable tool to improve your outreach, this one’s definitely worth considering. We are a company of a 250+ sales team, and it is great.

Not much - in a dream world the data quality would be 100%, but we know this is not achievable

Overall great experience for the role of a BDR/Sales person. Have been using the tool a lot and so far also had nothing much to complain about.

Pros

It has amazing depth of Companies and contacts. IT is also very easy to use and setup. I have been enjoying the tool a lot in the past months. Without it my job as a BDR/SDR would not be possible. I also really enjoy the persona function filter where you can get the right contacts at every company immediately and no need to do intense research on LinkedIn

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find certain companies with name search. But if you use the name of the company stated on LinkedIn you can't really go wrong and usually find the company you are trying to prospect into.

Accurate direct dials & emails for the right contact persons—fewer wasted calls. Near‑zero email bounces in my day‑to‑day. Built‑in DNC/opt‑out suppression—no contact details shown for records that shouldn’t be contacted, which keeps outreach respectful and compliant. Monthly webinars with high‑quality sales training.

Cons

Would love even more niche coverage in specific Belux micro‑segments (minor wish list). Very strong tool when I already know the prospect. Could be better to actually find the right decision maker.

Overall, my experience with Cognism was good. It made it easier to find the right people to talk to and saved me time on searching for contact details. Pros

What I liked most about Cognism is how easy it made finding accurate contact information for the right people. It helped me quickly identify decision-makers and reach out to them with confidence, knowing the data was reliable. It saved a lot of time and made prospecting way more efficient.

Cons

What I liked least about Cognism is that sometimes the contact data could still be a little outdated or missing, especially for niche industries or roles. While it's generally accurate, there were times I had to double-check or find extra info elsewhere, which slowed things down a bit.

Pros

The contact data is much better in EMEA region as compared to what ZoomInfo offers, we have seen a tremendous ROI on the data acquired from Cognism for few licenses in EMEA as compared to ZoomInfo. The product team is great and is willing to accommodate our needs and asks. Working like a true partner vs. treating you as a customer. I would definitely recommend them.

Cons

There are certain features that other tools offer as compared to Cognism. Things like company hierarchy, more detailed information, scoops, etc. Focusing a bit more on the account intel and the UX around it would make a great difference.

The quality of the numbers is amazing, most times I call them the correct prospect picks up the phone, email quality is even better. I also love the diamond verify feature to give me more confidence in the quality of the details

Not all the information cognism has can be pulled through to our CRM, Salesforce, which can be annoying when I have to cross reference details before reaching out.

Good quality contact data, excellent UI/search capability to find contacts/companies quickly, support/alignment to data protection regulations, enhance feature to enrich other contact lists and integrations with our core systems.

Deeper integration with our CRM to filter based on whether contacts/companies are already within the system & more accurate info on technology users (seems quite limited for the sectors we operate in)

No complaints, very satisfied customer. Would highly recommend using cognism for any BDR or reps doing cold outreach in the UK.

Pros

Easy to use, great contact quality and integrates seamlessly with Salesforce and Outreach. Couldn't do my job without cognism is key to success as a BDR.

Cons

Much better contact quality than other tools like zoominfo and lusha. Only criticism I could really say is on some companies there is no data. But quality over quantity approach is better. Nothing worse than pitching to someone and then find out you're not speaking to your prospect.

Pros

Cognism is a really easy to use and effective tool to fetch accurate prospect data for b2b sales. I have used similar data tools in the past and Cognism is a clear frontrunner in the space.

Cons

There are providers who I know provide key job role persona's in one list without having to run an individual search which is something which Cognism falls a little short on.

The platform is super intuitive to use, and we use everyday for prospection to find decision-makers for our business. We also rely on the quality of the information provided, that is email quality, and verified emails have impacted positively our campaigns and sales efforts.

Cons

The fact that finding distribution is somehow unreliable. Some regions in the world, especially asia is harder to find companies/contacts but that's also fair since Cognism as a larger database in Europe and US.
