Pros

Cognism's database provided our team with consistently reliable contacts each equipped with verified direct dials and emails. Their export tool which intregrates with our CRM hubspot makes creating companies and contacts a simple and fast procedure.

Cons

There was some instances where cognism's data had not been updates as was revealed when some contact's on cognism were not congruent with their information on linkedin as recent job updates were unaccounted for.

Pros

The fact that i can more or less bypass switchboards and receptionists completely and get in direct contact with the key stakeholders, saves me a lot of time and calls.

Nothing really, there are features to be improved as with all systems.

Targeted data made my job easier, and helped us achieve great things in 2023. I really like the fact that it integrates well with HubSpot. The reporting that they see in the background of how much data you have used, and what you've flagged as incorrect data,

The incorrect data. But the good thing is they let you flag this quite easily, and make them aware,

Pros

It gives us a tool that we never thought would exist. In the past our methods of lead generation was unstructured and was slow. We relied on someone picking up the office number. Now was have increased our connection on calls massively, which has then increased the number of bookings created. Alongside this, because conversations have increased, it has allowed us to streamline the team.

Cons

Not really a massive issue but having to log in every now and again can be frustrating, but this is a small trade off to keep the system safe!

My experiance has been amazing, some of the best customer service i have had.

Pros

all the data is very accurate and the tool allows me to completely skip the cold contact phase. I have been able to get through to companies i wouldn't normally be able to contact.

Cons

sometimes there are too many search filters and it can take a long time to get the data i need.

Happy with my usage, relatively basic, just wished it had more numbers of directors within smaller businesses.

Pros

Jumping the ladder to decision makers is key for quick prospecting and speaking to the right people. Finding out other people within the business who do different things.

Cons

Accurately creating lead gen lists, it collates more data than you'd like.

Pros

1) really easy to use 2) why more filters than the other tools in the market to narrow down the right prospects including technographic and special moments (beyond company size, industry, job titles, revenue..) 3) easy exporting 4) email / phone quality is mentioned 5) strickly professional no hotmail / yahoo mails in the list.

Cons

1) passing a list to Salesforce is done via campaigns and not as seamless as with other tools we've used (or via CSV)

Cognism helps me keep updated with the company's CRM and find necessary information about the prospects for future sales contracts.

Pros

I appreciate that Cognism has diversified tools for searching data, information about companies, and prospects depending on your searches.

Cons

I think we need to improve the fact that when we try to find prospects based on domain, we need to increase the limit of uploaded domains from 1000 to 3000. Also, when we export data, increase the limit of 5k prospects to 10. That allows us you use easier and faster Cognism for our job.

End to end has probably been impacted the most, the cycle has been accelerated without a doubt. No more struggling to acquire quality leads!

Pros

Cognism has genuinely changed the way I do business, leads can be generated with ease and cold leads revitalised. If a contact has left the business it's no longer an issue, their replacement can be found and their contact details obtained in a couple of clicks, in addition to where they came from and past history.

Cons

the intent data is not yet optimised for my particular sector but I'm very much looking forward to this being improved in the very near future, otherwise no complaints at all.

Pros

Availability of high quality contacts, far superior to their competitors. Great onboarding team to make sure that implementation is smooth and easy

Cons

It's a great product, not all the emails are verified, meaning that a couple are inaccurate. However, this is a problem with every data provider, Cognism still has the least amount of rejected emails

Pros

Cognism is super easy to use! I don't know what I would actually do without it. It makes my job 10x easier as I would have to constantly call through the office instead of being able to phone the CEO's mobile!

Cons

Sometimes the direct dials can be the HQ of a prospects old company. That being said if you just put the number into google you'll quickly know if it is or not, so its not a big problem at all.

Cognism's integration with services like LinkedIn is massively important to our team. This combined with ease of use makes it a must have tool for us in Sales and Lead Generation.

Cons

Honestly not much - early in deployment we struggled with some bugs, but these have been fixed and Cognism's partnership team are very interactive with us.

Cognism allows me to reach out to most prospects that are a fit for our company. Generating multiple leads, Cognism's data has allowed me to contact various prospects that have signed off on our solution.

Pros

Cognism allows me to find contact details about potential prospects. I have used multiple systems in the past and Cognism comes out on top always with accuracy of data and amount of data.

Cons

Nothing to dislike. Have never had a problem with Cognism

Very impressed with Cognism, From UX to their customer support, its been incredible

Pros

Cognism is incredible quick and easy to navigate The lead search is one of the best systems I have used You can either use this system for contact finding, lead generation or campaign production The step by step set up for campaigns is incredibly efficient and free's up alot of time

Cons

Trying to navigate around spam requirements which arent incredibly clear when you start using it. If you select the wrong option when generating your campaign lists, you can't go back and amend them (such as number of people in an organisation)

Data extracting is quick and easy, you can be as granular as you like. Intent is a great feature too.

data can sometimes be on there which is out of date or incorrect job titles

Pros

Intent data is very useful, especially if you need to reach the right company at the right time with a bespoke solution. The fact you can drill down to specifics makes it easy to create a great, targeted list of potential leads. Cognism is easy to use (once you figure out a few tips and tricks) :)

Cons

When in the Prospector or Lists, you can not sort the results by for example "Company" in order to see all the same company contacts grouped together.

Cognism makes it a lot less likely that I will get stuck calling the same GK/office number for multiple contacts which improves my connected call rate and, by extension, deal generation.

Pros

I can find mobile/DD numbers for senior contacts much easier than before. I use it very frequently when prospecting but also if my existing contacts have changed/left the business. The web extension is a great feature since I can find numbers via a LinkedIn profile.

Cons

Sometimes (about 10-20% of the time) the mobile numbers will be wrong or might be a personal number which a person doesn't want to be called on.
