### "If I could give a zero I would "

We have been with Sortly since 2020. Our price went from $1500 per year to $2750, which we weren’t happy with but accepted it. Now one year later the price increased 93% to $5360 and no installment plan! We have been promised integrations that never materialized. The system is not always good about syncing with other users. For the service and features you are getting it is not worth it.

Pros

Ease of use, photos and QR codes generated. Nice way to organize inventory especially retail mixed with custom orders.

Cons

Poor customer communication and service, not able to integrate with popular common software programs, greedy price increases with little warning to existing customers

### "Super disappointed after all these years"

Previously, I recommended Sortly to other people in my line of business. I now tell them to stay away. Pricing does not reflect the level of customer service needed by small business owners.

Pros

It was fine when I was starting out and didn't need anything too robust, but the price previously reflected that and was fine. Now I feel "stuck" with Sortly because I've invested countless hours over the years trying to figuring out how to make it work for our business. When I ask questions of the Sortly team, I'm told they don't offer certain options. I then have to Google to find work arounds that could have been suggested by Sortly.

Cons

Customer service is poor. Since Sortly says speaking to customers on the phone would "slow them down"... I had a 25 email exchange over the course of 2 weeks. My questions could have been solved with a 10 minute call. The change in pricing was upsetting, not handled well by the Sortly team, 2 to 3 weeks of a "heads up" was not adequate and caused stress to us. Recent conversations on Reddit confirm others are having the same issues.

Overall my experience have been great. It does everything I need in an easy way and helps me keep everything updated, do reports, know in one glance what I have and what is needed.

Pros

It is very easy to use and you are able to customize most things you’ll need without too much complication.

Cons

I have sometimes have trouble with syncing where I need to close completely in all the devices and accounts and then start the app again. It is sometimes a problem if you need a fast report and are having trouble with sync. I would like more control over reports.

its great! after we scan and bill to the correct departments it gets linked to our billing department which takes care of the PO's and stuff.

Pros

We use it to manage our IT inventory. IT works great for scanning the qr codes that sortly makes to bill correct departments.

Cons

The setup can be a little time consuming but its worth it. Once its set up and everything is in it is amazing.

Sortly is an easy platform where many client's inventory can be managed in one place. The software can be used to create pick lists to ship client materials out which is nice.

Cons

Sortly does not have real time inventory tracking. When you place pick lists it does not show available inventory until it is actually "Picked"

Pros

Sortly is very user friendly and makes keeping inventory easier than ever before! We can keep track of when supplies is needed without having to go through and count every time or rely on an excel sheet.

The app can sometimes be hard to navigate, but no real issues! If you take the time to make folders and sort into categories it is worth it.

Pros

Like having different categories with Tabs, and love being able to add pictures, this program is very user friendly

Not being able to see all products at one and the price increase which was more than doubled since we had starting paying more than 3 or 4 years ago.

My overall experience has been great and I will continue to use this product for years to come. The good thing is where there may be room for improvement or shortcomings, Sortly makes themselves available to listen to any and all customer-wanted-'tweaks' and a large portion of those are implemented into their product.

Pros

Sortly is a fantastic product! It's web-based which means I don't have to worry about getting a program loaded onto other users' machines; they can simply login. It has been very easy to upload items using a bulk file, but it's also easy to edit them if I didn't have all the information in my initial bulk file. The creation of labels and label printing is very user-friendly. I like the fact that I can choose where to start my labels on a label page so that I'm not wasting label sheets but I'm getting the most out of them.

Cons

I'll preface this by saying I'm fairly new to Sortly but I already have nearly 600 items added to my database so I've gotten a fair amount of use of this product in the last few months, however, there may be features that I'm just not good at that may alleviate my issues (but I haven't found them). Three things... 1) There needs to be a better 'transactional' procedure for me to "checkout" items to employees from our inventory that I know they are not bringing back. I know that I can move them to a separate file for tracking but I want the peace of mind to know that they are out of my system completely and not involved in any sort of my inventory count. 2) I would like the ability to further customize my labels. I need mainly barcodes on the labels but there are only two sizes offered for them which means I have to print out a qr code label with all the pertinent information on it, then add a barcode. I know they both scan the same but I have barcode scanners that I need to use so a barcode has to be on there. 3) I have my inventory listed in 'sections' so I would like to see a feature where I could print off an inventory checklist for someone to count an individual section and report back so that I can make adjustments.

Iv been using it for inventory control now for the last two years. I absolutely love it and it makes my life a lot simpler than it would be.

Pros

It is very easy to book out stock and also very accurate at knowing where it's been if you need to check an items history. It reduces losses and maintains brilliant inventory control.

Cons

Having to search through the history of an item to be shown an event happend three weeks ago. I'd prefer a exact date and time.

I helped when they set up our wearhouse the nee manager had no clue how to use or add things, i set up a lot of the items and jt was very easy.

Pros

ease of use for the end user, as a field service tech it is easy yo loonand see my inventory, as well as the inventory of other trucks near me.

Cons

It seems to lag or show the incorrect inventory occasionally. I wish it had a shopping cart, or macro keys you could set up for items that get used alot togather, so instead of having to move each item from your inventory to the store it was used, you could just add to the cart or list and then move the entire thing to the store or location where it was used.

A great program, but not modular enough to suit a use case that needs high item amounts and users, but not a lot of the more complex features. We \*just\* need to track inventory, but we need to track a lot of it.

Pros

Easy to create folders and items, easy to change quantities, app makes it simple to teach others, reporting is robust.

Cons

Too many features that we don't use. This is especially frustrating when we have to then pay extra for features that will never be helpful to us. Enterprise edition should be an a la carte situation. We recently had to drop to Premium from Enterprise due to an exorbitant price hike of over 77%. That is an untenable change in price. Seeing as this was only our first year with Sortly, we can no longer feel secure that we won't be hit by another surprise price hike down the line, and will begin looking for alternatives as soon as possible.

I've been a customer since their first year, they have kept up a clean responsive product that has also evolved as my company has. I can't imagine running my inventory on a clunkier or messier system.

Pros

Its ease of use and integrates well in my business which only uses Apple products. QR codes are a game changer and helps keep me away from messy tedious excel sheets. Their portal for upvoting and requesting features with progress on if they are considering them or implementing them is fantastic as they actually do implement those changes.

Cons

Occasionally, it can descend without warning, and sometimes, the mobile application indicates a change, but it doesn't update the website.

I like the inventory management, and the search features. I do like the mobile app as you can scan items barcodes and Sortly will do its best to lookup the UPC and pull the info for you saving you time.

Cons

I dont like that there is a limit to the amount of subfolders you can have which made us re-organize our entire inventory layout. I also dont like that using a barcode scanner on the computer is very very limited compared to other inventory software.

Cons

It is very expensive! We use it for basic inventory (we are not a retail company), so the cost is quite high! The ability to scan a product barcode to get it entered into inventory is nice, however it rarely works to identify the product so we end up having to manually enter most items. Time consuming.

when used by only 1-2 people at a time, very great and streamlined. when more than 2 people would try to use it, there was always at least one issue.

Pros

very clean interface, easy to use and understand

the system was not live - if several users tried to update the same thing at once, the numbers would almost always be wrong. this seemed like an issue with the fundamental structure of the program being based on the user's device and not a server which would be updated.

My overall experience with Sortly has been highly positive. It’s a user-friendly and visually organized management system that’s easy to implement and navigate. The ability to track items and use QR codes directly from a mobile device has significantly improved the efficiency of day-to-day operations

Pros

The clean, visual dashboard that allows users to organize inventory using folders, tags, photos etc. making it easy to locate and manage items.

Cons

Sortly is a highly intuitive and helpful system; however, my main concern is the slow turnaround time for processing system modification requests—particularly when adjustments are needed to support unique workflows.

Overall I think sortly is a great solution that pairs some of my favorite features from several inventory, manufacturing, and work flow programs. It's a great all in one solution for independant brands.

Pros

Image forward format allows me to find and reference products easily. Adding and moving inventory is very simple with is a huge help!

Cons

Better integration for automatic inventory updates would be helpful. If the features do exist they may have been complicated to set up which is why we currently run without automation. I am new to the platform and it seems like we could be optimizing how we used it if there was more feature and setup support from sortly team.

Pros

I think it's set up very neatly. I like we can connect our barcode scanner to it and scan our products. We use ours to solely keep track of what's inside our inventory and make sure we have that particular part when we need it instead of waiting a day to get it. I like I can have it on as many devices as I need!

Cons

A downside is how confusing it was to find simple controls that it's programmed to do. Thank goodness for Google, or we wouldn't be where we are now with it. Another thing I don't like is that when I need to type something, it won't show me my keyboard immediately; instead, I have to press three other buttons.
