May 5, 2025 4.0 Overall I think sortly is a great solution that pairs some of my favorite features from several inventory, manufacturing, and work flow programs. It's a great all in one solution for independant brands. Pros Image forward format allows me to find and reference products easily. Adding and moving inventory is very simple with is a huge help! Cons Better integration for automatic inventory updates would be helpful. If the features do exist they may have been complicated to set up which is why we currently run without automation. I also use for my personal inventory for insurance purposes- jewelry, art, home purchases and medical records Cons I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet. We are a small nonprofit and we had been attempting to use spreadsheets and databases to track our usage of materials and supplies. We also depended on paper tracking to report our consumables to funders. Sortley has changed everything for us, it has been a real blessing. Pros I love the ability to scan and update using a hand held scanner or the phone. Sortly has changed so much for us. We can now make accurate predictions about costs going forward as well as project costs related to expansion activities. A real godsend Cons I wasn't crazy about the setup for creating and using bar codes. Maybe with some practice and some tweaks it will be more effective for me but I haven't had a chance. Having the ability to print a sheet of different barcodes would be the most beneficial. If you have to put different labels on multiple products but you only have avery labels for copier. May 5, 2025 5.0 Sortly has helped me to communicate better with customers about the parts they need. It has reduced returns. Pros Being able to add photos of the parts. When sending out orders the customer can see what part is on the quote and I can see the availbility of the parts. Cons It is a little difficult to print reports. I also use it to help me with organizing my household items. Pros It is easy to use. I love having a list (with pictures) of my items with me especially when I’m shopping. I can always access my inventory, so I don’t purchase duplicates. I feel the price I pay for this is reasonable too. If you need help the AI is one of the better ones at helping from what I've seen. I've used a handful of other inventory tracking software, this one is for me. Pros Sortly helps me keep track of inventory and pricing which allows me to not overspend and over store. Whenever I do have problems, the chatbot which is AI, is actually helpful. It will take you step by step on how to do things and when features arent available it will let you know. I've confimed it with a human agent. Cons I don't know if its just me, but I don't have the ability to move items without making a new item and losing all the history. Because of this, i have to keep a item with a inventory of 0, just so i can have the history of the item for a couple of months before i delete it entirely. The integrated PO system is awesome but could use more features. Pros I like how user friendly the interface is. Cons The only search option for the PO system is by PO number. Cons The mobile version's search was more effective than the desktop version.
