If you need help the AI is one of the better ones at helping from what I've seen. I've used a handful of other inventory tracking software, this one is for me. Pros Sortly helps me keep track of inventory and pricing which allows me to not overspend and over store. Whenever I do have problems, the chatbot which is AI, is actually helpful. It will take you step by step on how to do things and when features arent available it will let you know. I've confimed it with a human agent. Cons I don't know if its just me, but I don't have the ability to move items without making a new item and losing all the history. Because of this, i have to keep a item with a inventory of 0, just so i can have the history of the item for a couple of months before i delete it entirely. The integrated PO system is awesome but could use more features. Pros I like how user friendly the interface is. Cons The only search option for the PO system is by PO number. It's not a system that is regularly used with our product but we're making it work. Pros Pretty easy to learn and use. I like that the phone and online version are pretty much synced up every time I go from one to the other. Cons Too many restrictions on what I can change or do. For example want to make multiple custom roles. It does, however, lack the ability to edit transactions once made which can be frustrating. Pros It's UI is great. Easy to navigate, and aesthetically pleasing. Cons Lack of some features. Cannot make certain edits to transactions once they are complete. If I make a mistake when updating an item, it's now permanently on record. Can't change type of transaction after it's made either. Basically this means you have to get your transactions right first-try. When multiple people have access, that is unlikely. Pros Sortly is very easy to use and can easily manage fairly large inventories. There is a mobile app available for phones and tablets that allows you to manage inventory without bar scanners. Cons There is no differentiation within Sortly between items of the same type that were received at different times or with different lot numbers, so if you have separate lot numbers, you cannot use their low inventory notification system. I use it to track the inventory of a large HVAC warehouse and the ease at which data is able to be inputted saves me time I can use for other critical tasks. Pros Easy to use UI. It's simple to move between items, folders, and folders of folders, to find, adjust, and move items as needed. Cons This could be somewhere in the settings that I haven't found yet, but prolonged exposure to white screens causes me eye pain, and a dark mode option would be helpful for extended uses. Not only would this be of a great help to businesses, but also for personal use to keep track of your valuables. Pros Sortly has made inventory assessments significantly easier to manage & process. Instead of writing everything down on paper & transferring the inventory to an excel sheet, I can simply export it from Sortly straight to the Excel sheet, saving me a lot of time & hassle. Cons I found that the camera could use some tweaking & have some more features when it comes to listing data. I found that, in my particular case, the file name to each photo has a default name that does not compute with a program that I use. It would save me a lot of time & hassle if I could change the "rule" of what each photo is named before exporting into storage. Review Source JG Jennifer G. As I've gotten more used to it, it's gotten faster to use which has made me like it better. Pros I just like having an inventory system at all. I love the organization. I like being able to move all of the items in a folder to another place also, as I have mobile shelves that change locations. Cons I haven't found it intuitive to add more of an existing product, especially by barcode, without ending up with duplicates. When items are stored in different places, it would be nice to have them linked to each other to tell you where the others are when you run out. If that is possible, I haven't found it. I like the ease of creating folders and the ability to search by barcode. The reporting is extremely helpful and the ability to download as PDF or Excel make shortly an awesome product Cons It's a little pricey for a small startup like myself.
