I was able to get most of my job functions done by troubleshooting remote users.

Pros

For a remote application, this gets the job done. Good thing there's 3 ways to connect with the user, however they need to be connected to the net.

Cons

Program startup does take a while to load. Latency could be better. Both giving and receiving ends needs to have a decent connection.

Pros

We have clients that we are not able to vpn or rdp to since they have their own networks. We use logmein to remote into the computers that run our software so we can troubleshoot issues. This software is pretty smooth and easy to use for what we use it for. The process to configure it is simple and any one can manage this. My overall use of this is everyday 8hrs a day. well made software.

Cons

At times it can be a heavy resource constraint on a computer that is limited with hardware. It could use some updates to it's functions but not a bad con, more like a minimal con.

Three words - stable remote access.

Pros

LogMein is a great piece of remote management software. Not only can you solve problems from the comfort of your home you can do it anywhere that there is an internet connection. The response rate is much faster than other products I have used.

Cons

The initial setup took a little bit to get work through but that can be said about most new products.

I and my users are able to have remote access to our servers and workstations when and where we need them.

Pros

I like having remote access to all of my system's machine right in one place and can manage all of my users and set access controls as needed.

Cons

Only issues I have had is sometimes if you log in at an unfamiliar location it was do the prove your are not a robot thing with captcha and it doesn't always work well with the images.

Great for remote access from home or other location.

Pros

Price is good for small office with limited computers. Works with all browsers that I have tried it with, although some better than others.

Cons

Not sure if it is caused by browser but sometimes it seems you have to perform additional installs to get it to load even if you have used same computer before.

How us to support computer and users easily. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and I would recommend the service to colleagues

Pros

It give me the flexibility to access computers for support and other productivity purposes on an as needed basis. No need for the end user to go to a website and allow access. It also organizes the computers by group as well as setup additional users with selected access, as needed. Easy to use user interface and manageable from anywhere on the internet

Cons

We feel the cost is higher then is should be. also the Captcha security, while good to have, can be an obstacle at times

I like that I have a way to remote into my clients who have software that is locally based only and can send it to my team.

Cons

I like the software, but I really wish it were cheaper. It was very cheap when it first came out, but has gotten a lot more expensive.

Pros

I like the suite of features. It's so much more than just remote access. However, that is the main use for me. To be able to just drop into a customer's computer is a wonderful thing.

Cons

Lately I have seen issues with the logmein agent crashing and kicking me out of remote sessions. Hoping this is fixed in the future. But it's very simple to reconnect. Just can cause interruptions.

\- Response time between computers - Great selection of features for IT when accessing computers - great option for device maintenance

Cons

\- It's sometimes buggy - Frequent updates - Pricy - Not great business support (I opened an important bug/ticket about 6 months ago and it is still open.. no resolution or updates on the matter)

Pros

We use the user management, antivirus management, system health monitoring and computer grouping according to location, access and permission frequently to keep on eye on everything and compared to the other software we looked at this has been a great buy for us.

Cons

The only major issue that I have with this product isn't even with the product, it is with the customer support that assists whenever an issue comes up. Being escalated to different tiers of support until you are able to get to the person who can actually help you.

Remote assistance to customers and employees giving you hands on access to the machine even while not physically at a location. The ability to remotely reboot, even in safe mode has proven extremely useful as well.

Pros

I utilize log me in for remote assistance across multiple computers in our company. It is great for remotely accessing different devices at any time.

Cons

With the version of LogMeIn that I have and use, my only request would be the ability to transfer data between machines. copy and paste for text works between devices, however the ability to transfer documents or program files would be even greater.

Pros

I liked the basic function of remote desktop access. The interface was user friendly enough. We also utilized their cloud service, Cubby, while it was around.

Cons

CUBBY was not a user friendly service, it is good they discontinued it. LogMeIn worked perfectly fine, we just discontinued use when we were offered a less expensive alternative with another program we use.

Pros

I like most that it gives me the ability to work from my home computer. I am able to log in within about 2 minutes and has saved me numerous trips to my office. I've used it in both my accounting and sales job and it really does keep my work info at my fingertips. Another great thing is that it gives our CPA the ability to remote in to get any documentation she needs without having to contact me.

Cons

Set up is a little demanding but their customer service reps helped. It is also a little slow, there is a definite lag especially when opening reports.

Pricing has gone up over the years. I understand their model but I think that taking away the free version with less features was a mistake.

We used LogMeIn for a couple years before upgrading to match our company size. It was slick, functional and rarely had any technical issues.

Pros

It's features are nice and it handles multiple monitors better than most apps of similar design. It's IOS apps are terrific

Cons

It disconnects---a lot. This doesn't appear to be unique to a machine/network--it just times out very quickly despite changing those settings. It's easy to connect again--but frustrating to do so every 10 or so minutes.

I do not have to leave my office to work on computers. I can log in from my desk or from home. I can use it to work from home if need be. Connects quickly.

Great purchase and I would highly recommend.

Pros

We are a staffing agency and have multiple clients and employ 500 plus employees. LogMeIn allows us to log into computers outside of our location to view employee info, retrieve weekly hours, and communicate with our time clocks. This saves us time and money and allows us to communicate with our clients without leaving our office.

Cons

My personal opinion is that there aren't any Cons. This software saves our company valuable time and practically pays for its self with the travel time it saves.

I have been using LogMeIn since they have been in business. I write data management software for small businesses. LogMeIn allows me to support many times the number clients that I could possibly do without it.

Pros

LogMeIn allows me to singlehandedly support almost 100 computers. Unless there is a poor connection, there is no noticeable lag time. Lot's of tools and file transfer are handy too.

Cons

As a product it is pretty much perfect, at least for my needs. I can't think of anything that I would like to see change except that I would like to see the price come down a bit.

Pros

I am a one-person IT department who also has regular business duties. LMI Central helps me simplify management of over 2 dozen PCs quickly and easily so I can get back to my real job. My users love having remote access through an easy to use platform that works reliably.

Cons

The Kaspersky integration could use some work. It frequently fails to activate on the host PCs. It lacks the central management capabilities that I would expect from LMI Central.

Pros

When connected, either via a desktop or mobile phone, it's fairly easy to use. It retains credentials and makes connections easy. Its mobile phone interface is among the best I've seen.

Cons

First, the cost. They've taken a product that at one time was free, then paid for, then bumped the price to where it's not cost effective vs. the competition. Next, multi-screen monitors are not nearly as easy to navigate between as other competitive products. Other less used features, like remote printing or file transfer are relegated to their even more expensive product, Pro. Last, it takes longer to establish a connection than I think it should.

Always been a fan and continue to use LogMeIn for as long as possible!

Pros

When I connect remotely to a computer I need to be able to run the most basic and complicated tasks to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues, LogMeIn allows me to do just that, even from my phone on vacation I've been able to assist people that otherwise might have gone too long without help.

Cons

Been using LogMeIn for a very long time and I can't say that I've got anything negative to say, maybe when they dripped support for older OS's but that's on me, not them :)

Overall, I have not been disappointed with LogMeIn. I have used it both as an admin accessing a remote terminal, and as an end-user receiving service and support. There is a reason LogMeIn is considered one of the most stable and reliable remote terminal products on the market.

Pros

When we were first launching, this was the tool we used how to manage remote desktops. It's saved our bacon a few times when we had to access remote terminal for major software and OS updates, security scans, etc.

Cons

For the price, we switch to a full-service IT provider that uses the same software but manages the processes themselves. This product is obviously priced more affordably for resellers who are using it to manage multiple clients and companies.
