The support person who helped understand what I was doing was great. She helped me configure our profiles so that we are successful in dong our imports. The process of importing a lot of records is very time consuming but it works and with few exceptions, now that we know what we are doing. Pros IOM gives us control over importing information into Raiser's Edge. Cons It is not as intuitive as we would like. Review Source SC Savina C. Once you have mastered or are much more comfortable with setting up profiles, it becomes an amazing tool. Pros The ability to import many different data fields via one spreadsheet. Definitely a simplified process than what I had to do before. Cons The exceptions are in-explainable sometimes and there are a few recurring gifts that we find never made it to our database and not sure why. Review Source AM Andrew M. Pros This software is such a time saver when it comes to migration records. I appreciate how flexible the software is with importing a variety of records and relevant data. Cons I always get a large number of exceptions when I import large records and still don't know how to settle them. High efficiency, happiness. Pros Customer Service Convenience, Effective and Efficient Database, Thanks to this program; we were able to gain convenience and effectiveness with in us. This was a laborius process in Raiser's edge requiring multiple imports that can now be done with one import with ImportOmatic. This will be a huge time saver. Creating the profiles is more problematic however, it really requires a lot of support from ImportOmatic to get the profiles working correctly. ImportOmatic is a g\*d-send for database administrators like me, who constantly have huge amounts of data to enter that is about half in the DB already, & half brand new. The import duplicate management tools are fabulous. Cons The setting up of profiles is extremely complex, and seems to have some redundancies. ImportOmatic imports field for field. Love that. Saves so much time. You can use the same import multiple times. " February 26, 2018 5.0 Pros Importing process is much easier. No previous clean up and creating records before import process. I use it for both importing Luminate Gifts - and csv spreadsheets. Cons Hard to get on the phone with support staff. So if you are in a middle of importing - you have to wait to hear back from the support staff.
