Refreshing take on an old industry. Pros Something I've found working with my team during reviews is that the younger staff won't have the same familiarity with the codes that the senior staff do. The searchability of the text has helped those out. Less pressure on the senior staff. Cons A blessing and a curse - now I want to do all the reviews in this means. It seems that not all states are covered making me go back to the older ways of looking up code. Wish I could just use this for every project. Covers a lot of the NYC codes which really helped Pros Finally found a place my teams (usually working on several projects congruently) can work on code reviews in a unified way. Was previously using a patchwork of books PDFs and websites. Has brought a lot more consistency/reliability to the workflow. Also, has helped get a lot of our younger architects get quickly familiarized with the codes . Cons Would love to see an admin panel so I can remove/add team mates from projects. we always have a dynamic office so people are jumping from one project to the next. I've also utilized the bookmarking and commenting for my team. Has shaved considerable time during my code reviews. Cons Didn't have some of the codes I was looking for. I work across varying districts all with their own AHJ and would love to see these local codes also brought on.
