We've been using Zoho Projects for several years and have had a good experience with interface and scalability. Several other options were investigated however we have not found a more suitable option.

Pros

Flexibility in creating plans and rich data availability. We have added several fields to the setup and use these with their API to create monthly reports

Cons

We've found editing project plans after they've been posted to be challenging. As with many project planning packages having too many dependencies creates challenges for managing updates.

Once set up, it is a great option for a project management tool, especially if you are already using other Zoho suite tools.

Pros

I have been using Zoho Books and Expenses for 5 years. My team is now large enough that we needed a Project management tool. This option not only has all of the bells and whistles of most paid third party apps but it also allows you to enter timesheet data into it and sync with Zoho Books. It takes a step out for my team and that is a real plus.

Cons

It almost has too many customization options. Set up takes a while to set up and make sure that all of the settings are to your liking.

It was quick to learn and gives a very nice Gantt chart to use. It is easy for team members to come in and update their tasks.

Pros

It is a simple interface where even someone with minimal project management experience can enter a plan.

Cons

It takes a little bit to understand some of the screen behaviors and how to indent tasks under a summary tasks, but once you learn it, it is easy.

We were considering Zoho as an alternative to our current software, Accelo. It was a solid option, but just didn't quite fit in all the right places for our team. I wish Accelo could take notes from Zoho's mobile app approach - that was a standout for us.

Pros

The value of Zoho projects felt like it delivered and was pretty competitive compared to the other options we considered. It's a great tool if you're already comfortable or setup in the Zoho suite of products - and the mobile app remains superior to anything else I've seen.

Cons

The UI was a little crowded and confusing for some of our team to navigate and slowed down some workflows. We are always trying to customize reports for different clients, but it felt like we never got the desired output we were after.

Overall, I really like working with Zoho Projects. The price is very reasonable for all the capabilities that it has to offer.

Pros

Ease of use. Very easy to set up projects and keep them updated. I was able to keep all of our team informed and they were able to follow along seamlessly with our progress.

Nothing, it was great! I would definitely recommend to other project managers in the construction industry.
