### "Elementor is a really great tool if you want to create websites in a faster and professional way."

December 31, 2025

5.0

I would recommend this tool to people who wants to start a business of website, and they are awilling to learn to use it properly.

Pros

They improve a lot about how to build websites easily and faster with great designs and great navigation.

Cons

Not so many tools to use, it feels that they can implement more. Also customer service is not the best, it is quite hard to reach them when a problem happens. Also their AI is not the best and I dont think worth to pay more for it.

### "Steep learning curve then really great product"

March 25, 2026

While it can be buggy, overall it makes for great website design and provides the ability to allow your website to stand-out.

Pros

The templates varieties are varied and well priced. Building components of the pages using plug and play to create better looks that the average WP site.

Cons

It can be a tricky at first to learn, and sometimes it does weird things when you try to add more components/paragraphs. Header footer can be tricky.

### "Elementor Pro: the only “pro” is how professionally they ghost you"

May 31, 2025

1.0

My experience with Elementor Pro has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. After getting locked out of my account due to a broken 2FA system, I reached out to support — and was essentially ignored. I opened six separate tickets, and in most cases either received no response or got generic replies that led nowhere. When I did finally hear from someone, they promised to escalate the issue but then disappeared without resolving anything.

Pros

The only thing worth appreciating about Elementor Pro is the abundance of third-party tutorials and community resources online — especially on YouTube. Without those, you'd be completely lost. If you had to rely solely on Elementor’s own support team to solve even basic issues, you'd be absolutely screwed. The user community is doing the heavy lifting that the company clearly doesn’t care to handle

Cons

I’ve been completely locked out of my account for days, and Elementor's support has been utterly useless. After updating my email, 2FA stopped working entirely — no authentication codes are being sent. I've tried logging in over 50 times. Still nothing. I opened 6 support tickets. The only two times someone replied, they asked for basic info and then said they needed to escalate the issue to another department. The first time, I actually got a response from that department, asking for a new email to replace the broken one. I sent it — and never heard from them again. The second time, I wasn’t even lucky enough to get that far. I’ve followed up multiple times, and I know they’re reading the messages (I'm using Mailtrack), but they’ve completely ignored me. It's a black hole. Elementor Pro is not a professional-grade tool. It may look sleek on the surface, but if something goes wrong — especially something critical like account access — you’re completely on your own. The support team is unresponsive, disorganized, and not trustworthy.

### "Elementor was a life saver for me"

April 17, 2026

5.0

Initially, when I started building WordPress websites back in 2019, I was extremely struggling to design appealing and modern pages, until I learned about Elementor page builder.

Pros

Extremely useful page builder for WordPress website to design modern and fancy pages. It requires minimal to no technical knowledge to build a page, and an interesting part is, they've got many free templates. You wouldn't be spending extra bucks to build a page.

Cons

As far as my experience with Elementor is concerned, I did not find anything that I like least about the app. So far so good.

### "Bespoke Websites with Very Little Code Knowledge"

July 5, 2025

4.0

I've been running website and digital marketing teams for about 15 years and I've experimented with almost every 'easy website builder' offer ranging from Dreamweaver and Geocities to WordPress and Square Space. Elementor allows me to create the full bespoke websites I want without needing to code. I've built three websites with Elementor and, for now, it's my tool of choice.

Pros

It's very easy for non-coders to turn design ideas into responsive websites. Unlike other page-builders' Elementor doesn't restrict your design vision; as long as you have the patience, you can build almost anything you want.

Cons

Because Elementor has fewer restrictions than say SquareSpace, and it has way more features including dynamic elements, it can get confusing. There are also lots of ways to skin a cat, so you'll have to make architecture decisions as you build.

### "Great builder with a lot of options but you have to get used to it"

May 27, 2025

3.0

Overall, a lot of fantastic options, but not the most intuitive tool I have used, so even though it is very popular and compatible with everything I need, I sometimes feel like it is overcomplicated.

Pros

There are a lot of fantastic options available, and it is compatible with most of the key plugins I have been using.

Cons

It is not intuitive and not smooth to work with. I don't think it is quick to learn and use, and sometimes I do find it overcomplicated, but it might be a subjective opinion, as it is not my first choice for the website builder.

### "Quality Legacy Builder that I hope still improves"

May 19, 2025

4.0

I learned WordPress website building on Elementor. I have a lot to be thankful for. They have an excellent free version that most people use. But when people need more, they go to the expensive Pro plans or look at 3rd party tools and what they can do for cheaper.

Pros

It has been a trusted platform for building complex sites on WordPress for a long time now. I use it less because of the recent price increases, but some clients still want to use it.

Cons

The price increases have made it a bit more expensive for a freelancer to build websites with it. There are some other options out there that are more economical. I wouldn't mind paying extra for extras, but paying a lot for the core product seems too much. They have also been slow to introduce some features that would make it truly a next-gen builder for WordPress. I appreciated the Flex containers, but I have missed more advanced features since then. I am hopeful for the V4 launch but will have to see how that pans out.

Alternatives considered

August 1, 2025

5.0

Overall Elementor has been my go to as a website developer working with WordPress, but I do often run into limitations, where I have to crowdsource to find solutions.

Pros

Cons

### "Elementor has ignited a new industry in WP sites"

Good page builder. Upgrading to Pro turns it into a site builder, giving you design control over the header, footer, blog post templates, and more.

Pros

How they made flexbox (and css grid) easier and more accessible to web designers and developers.

Cons

Lag in the backend, especially when more than one Elementor window is open. Extra <divs> or tags it adds to elements increases DOM size.

### "Easy and fast, but still better for pros"

I've worked and built myself websites with a lot of different site builders, Elementor is by far the fastest one and the one that causes less troubles even tho is not immune to bugs.

Cons

Fixing errors is not easy for non-dev people defeating the purpose of being a platform for everyone.

### "My all-in-one website builder"

September 5, 2023

5.0

Elementor helps me to build web pages faster and more flexibly. I'm not saying that it's perfect but, there's no better alternative - I haven't seen any yet.We also integrate it into our HTML websites, making them very easy to edit in WordPress. I highly recommend Elementor

Pros

I love Elementor because it's easy to use and also very affordable. It's been approximately 4 years now that I've been using this website builder for my projects and clients. I use it to design almost every WordPress website. Some of the features that I really enjoy in Elementor are:the live editor (drag & drop builder), and the flex container feature which provides amazing layout designs, animations, and template extraction. It's perfect for beginners and visually appealing. Elementor also supports a ton of integrations which I find absolutely amazing.

Cons

I discovered that when more than 4 Elementor addons are used, the editor becomes slow and there is a conflict with the Elements Kit Pro plugin too. I experienced this while I tried importing a full pre-designed page from ElementsKit, The Elementor editor became non-responsive and I couldn't edit any fields When I deactivated the ElementsKit Pro plugin, the Elementor editor became responsive. At first, I was wondering if the problem was due to cache issues but soon realized that it wasn't because of the caches. I think the developers should try experimenting from their end to see what's not working right because there Is no point deactivating one plugin just because you need to use the other.

There are several reasons why I switched from these WordPress site builders:1. Divi builder is extremely expensive and consumes a lot of resources from my server.2. There are just too many features in the Visual Composer plugin, they confuse me sometimes.3. Brizy bugs & completely freaks out when I try performing complex customization.4. Site Builder Pro has a poor design capacity and the IU is not that good (honestly). There are several other reasons why these tools could not fit my specific needs. I would love to share them in separate reviews

### "It's a the most flexible website builder to use in WordPress"

November 28, 2023

5.0

It's a very great tool for building good WordPress websites. I would recommend it because it's popular and professional.

Pros

Elementor is such a fantastic website builder. I like it because it enables me to accomplish a lot of cool things with ease and simplicity. First, It's one of the most beginner-friendly WordPress plugins that I've known up to now - it's easy to set up and it's extremely popular in the market. Secondly, It's compatible with a lot of third-party plugins and applications that are currently driving impacts in the market today which simplify all the hard process of work. It's feature-rich and provides advanced customization features with a lot of design options like templates, predesigned pages, sections, and some other forms of lead-generation pages that are amazing to use when starting off with a project. Besides this, It works seamlessly with some of my favorite javascript frameworks like GSAP to add professional animations to pages and sections. Additionally, I like Elementor because it's not limited to just the framework environment, it also allows the user to add their own HTML, CSS, and Javascript codes. To my knowledge, there is no other definition of flexibility than this.

Cons

Elementor can be a little frightening in the beginning and can seem to be challenging too but ultimately becomes easy with time. I noticed that the editor becomes slow sometimes when too many add-ons are used and other times, it becomes completely inaccessible as the features can't be clicked when I use it with Elements Kit Pro whereas the lite version of Elementskit doesn't show this conflict in attitude with Elementor.

### "Elementor Visual Builder : a good choice for everyone"

June 23, 2023

5.0

I use elementor \[paid and free\] for some clients who like to customize on their own, so i needed a very user friendly interface for them. Never disappointed.

Pros

I like the most that is quick to setup and to use. I never had any overloading problem with elementor, like i had with more heavy visual builders.

Cons

Some critical features for professional are under paid license, and this license is an annual fee. Elementor doesn't have a lifetime solution, and that's a pity.

Alternatives considered

[Divi](https://www.capterra.com/p/201958/Divi/)

Reason for choosing Elementor

Divi is more complex, and with its one time license offers all the functionality of the paid version of elementor. This means customize everything, even core templates in Wordpress or Woocommerce. I don't need all of this for some of my clients, who want to do some things on their own, and i needed a more quick and easy interface. Elementor was the perfect solution.

### "Ok Product, Terrible Service"

September 22, 2022

3.0

I was a writer when I started using Elementor. I loved it at first. When I launched my own agency, my go-to was the Astra theme with Elementor. I don’t even know how many sites I built anymore. It really was a beautiful thing. Now I’m the in-house head of digital marketing for a company. My boss insisted I use another theme and host with Elementor. It’s been nothing but problems. Elements are glitchy, don’t work, or don’t display right on mobile. Their support chat almost always escalates to tier 2, which will only communicate by email with the main email on your account - not ideal for teams. Recently, they released a version that corrupted my site. They admitted it was a known bug, but of course, I didn’t get the email because it went to my boss. I rolled back on my own, but didn’t shut off the updates because I didn’t think Elementor would release something that totally breaks sites. When it happened again, I tried to restore and my site went to all 400 pages. I tried again and it went to all 500 pages. Then it came back on its own, but was still glitchy and unusable. For a week, I was in contact with their support. No resolution. I eventually gave in and tried a third restore. My site’s been stuck in restore mode for two days for a task that should have taken 20 minutes. Support just keeps telling me to wait. That’s literally what tier 2 tells me every time. They will not escalate it higher. Nobody will put me in contact with anyone higher or a manager.

Pros

When it works, it makes WordPress sites as easy to work with as Wix, SquareSpace, or Weebly. My favorite theme (Astra) builds with Elementor, so I can build a very nice customized site in about a day despite not being a developer.

Cons

It’s buggy. Elements, like the typing/ animated text were released even though they don’t display properly. They were left buggy for forever (many months). I’m not even sure they’re working right now. Oftentimes, things don’t display right on mobile either. Their latest update broke my site. I didn’t realize it was Elementor’s fault, so I left updates on. Two weeks later, it broke my site again. Pair that with their shoddy hosting that’s often down and crummy tech support/ customer service and it’s a recipe for disaster. I wasted so much time going between Elementor and the theme’s developer with each blaming the other for things not working during the build. I don’t know how many things i scrapped or how many times I changed direction because things just weren’t working right.
