But since it gives you so much control, that also means it takes a while to set everything up properly. Also, Elementor gets somewhat of a bad reputation for being heavy and slow. However, our sites are generally very fast. We do host our sites on good managed WordPress hosting and we also sometimes load WP Rocket. January 7, 2023 3.0 Pros After you learn and have the patience to understand it, it is easy enough to use it and to a lot of personalization on the website. Cons If your website is working great but you want to deactivate a simple plugin the entire website can come down and will ask you to submit a ticket, yet the "engineers" will take days to answer and tell you that they cannot do anything about it, even if the entire website log fatal error points to Elementor. I talked to my host and many other plugins, I talked to their engineers directly on a chat, fixing whatever problems they could, but Elementor only leaves you waiting and answering unhelpful "we have nothing to do with this even though we have not actually investigated it yet". I am glad my website is not live yet, or I would be losing a lot of money and trust in my brand. I would love if my theme did not need Elementor.
