The tool has many features on the free version which I am using. For static pages, this tool is one of the best that I've tested. Never any issues! Pros The free version is packed full of features! You don't need any HTML/CSS knowledge, although it will help, especially if you have to troubleshoot any issues. Great tool, especially if you want to create an eye-catching homepage. Cons No cons. Some features are locked out if you use the free version, but you get what you pay (or don't pay) for. Cons It can take a bit of practice to understand how to use the UI but its the same with squarespace and webflow. Pros Elementor allows us to build web pages by dragging and dropping (and customizing) the elements directly on the pages that we build. Almost zero code knowledge required. I am a personally Elementor user so I can say that the price we pay for this plugin is worth paying. Plain and simple. It has a user-friendly interface, It allows you to create (well-coded) themes that load easily and pass Google's standards. Cons There isn't an option for a one-time payment. If you need a custom page on WordPress and don't want to deal with coding and can't find the template you like, definitely get Elementor. Pros elementor makes it easy to create pages for a website using professional templates, you just import prebuilt pages then you make minor changes to have a professional website which is really great. Cons some templates are hard to edit, if they can offer two versions of those complicated templates (a simple one and a complex one with more advanced stuff) that would be awesome. You can really build a good website just with Elementor’s free builder, and that’s what I’m doing. Pros The free version of Elementor has many useful modules and it’s possible to install free third-party plugins to enhance Elementor’s functionality. I really like how Elementor helps users to control how their websites appear in tablet and mobile view. I did not have nearly as many options to control tablet and mobile website viewing when I used a different popular page builder. We've installed both WPBakery and Elementor for clients, both with great success. Pros Elementor looks and functions great out of the box. It's easy enough to use even for basic WordPress users. The visual drag and drop editor shows you updates live as you make them, which is also handy. Cons Extending or doing anything custom outside of Elementor gets a bit tricky as it doesn't seem to play nicely with custom code compared to WPbakery. Depending on browser/machine specs, Elementor can get a bit choppy/laggy on heavier pages, making it a bit cumbersome to use for large-scale sites.
