I started my career as a Web Developer in 2020. From the first moment, I felt that I needed a perfect time tracking manager, that would be able to track my daily routine. I've tried several time tracking manager at first, but Clockify is the one that hooked me up. I have to spend a lot of time learning new web technologies and also deal with many clients with their Website projects. I have to count hours for my projects, as I work hourly as a freelance Web Developer. These continuous learning, working and projects time management needed to be organized and also I needed to review how much time I spend with what. Clockify came with the perfect solution for me. I have been using it for 5 years, I love it. It is my go to time manager extension for my work. I use it's free version, and it has all the necessery funcions for me. Easy to use, easy to track and monitor my time. I highly recommend this for others who want to track their time management and working hours. Clockify is the one ✅

It is pretty great! I’ve been using this mostly on a free version but the paid version is much better of course. I used to work as HR Mgr and we’ve managed different consultants using this time-tracker. Plus the data are secured. As an Ops Manager as well, I could easily see how much billable hours spent on different day to day tasks and projects. Good tool to manage remote team members and projects asa well!

Pros

Anyone can use this. As a remote freelancer, it has been so easy for me to invoice my hours with my clients. And its so easy to use! Plus there’s free version. Both used the free and paid! Awesome application.

Cons

None! Clockify both has free and paid version. Its a pretty good deal so no cons I would say.

From day one, it has been very helpful in the organization of our grants management system. It is easy and so helpful with the reporting documentation we need and is easy to use. Our team caught on well in a short amount of time, saving us effort and staff hours.

Pros

Clockify is very user friendly and easy to get up and running! It has many capabilities, some that we aren't even using...yet. And the reports tab is an easy way to see clearly where we are in our projects and to be able to share that information. It is also very affordable, and in non-profit work, that is so important. It also has an app associated with the program, so our staff can use it in the field, when needed. It really helps to keep spend down tracked and easily assists our accounting needs. I highly recommend this product!

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I don't like about Clockify, except that maybe it isn't exactly tailored to some specific functions that we need; but those functions are ours and not what Clockify is particularly made for. Maybe an integration with other systems would be beneficial.

Great! I have been so happy with Clockify. I've suggested it to anyone who wants a great time logging app.

Pros

I've been using Clockify for 3 years and it's just been fantastic for my team to log in their hours. Easy and seamless, I couldn't really ask for more. I love the way it displays time reports, and produces great downloadable pdfs. The additional tags you can add are really helpful too.

Cons

I'd love for Clockify to have a more dynamic and detailed invoicing setup, with a better design. I would also love the phone app to have more capabilities for the Manager.

Overall, the experience is painless and provides for a great tool for tracking working hours. It simply doesn't get in the way of actually working.

Pros

What I most like about clockify is the really detailed reports that it gives you. The functionality to export these monthly/weekly reports in multiple different formats is great too. And it's detailed but not overwhelmingly so. Another pro of Clockify is it's great interplay between it's web-based interface, the mobile app and Google Chrome browser extension.

Cons

Some functionalities of the Desktop App were a little buggy. For example, when deleting text within reports, it would delete text from the end of the text. Some strange behaviour there. Nothing dealbreaking though.

Clockify has overall been pretty awesome with tracking my time for a client. I am able to generate a super accurate report of hours to get paid accurately. I would recommend it!

Pros

Clockify has a lot of great features to help your time tracking be very detailed. It also lets you create super detailed reports of the tasks and projects!

Cons

It is not intuitive and a little difficult to find your way around each feature. Also, if you accidentally click the start tracking button without filling in the task it won't let you stop it until you fill it in.

It does create nice reports at the push of a button, which is helpful for clients who want detailed, project-specific time tracking.

Cons

I wish I could get more detailed reports with the free version, but I rarely need this feature. For the most part, the basic reports are all I need.

I used to get comfused how many hours to charge my clients, now I don't even think about it. I just prepare the client and his project and just click start or stop. At the end of each month I just sum up the money I should invoice.

Pros

I can very easyly count the hours spend on every client and charge him accordingly.

Cons

There is nothing I didn't like. Maybe if the would just add my native language, Greek. But it is very easy as it is as well.

I use Clockify for over 6 years now ( I just realized this!) I never had the need to search for something else. It is easy to use (I am using the free version as I literally just want to see how much time I spend for what) .

Pros

I can just type in the field "what are you working on" a word from something I wrote before and I can easily select from a range of suggestions, that saves time and I do not have to write every time what I am working on most of the tasks are repetitive. Also love the dashboard for overview and reports for detailed filtering of how much time I spend for a task, project etc.

Cons

Imagen starting a new timer and you need to select the project. You can type the project name to select the project but I can not select a project by searching for its task. As I have several projects with several subtasks it takes some time to select the one I am looking for. I am not a fan of mobile app. I am happy that it exists (in-case I forget to stop the timer but my computer is already off) but it is really tricky to use.

I've been able to quantify my time investment in my various interests. It's really handy feedback, particularly since I'm juggling paid work, a part-time PhD and some private passions, like podcasting and language learning. I love the way when the clock starts ticking, I've trained myself to stay on task - otherwise who am I kidding?

Cons

If my computer shuts down due to inactivity, Clockify doesn't automatically turn off.

I've been using this for a few years as I've been trying to keep track of the time I spend on different projects, mostly unpaid, and now that I'm transitioning into freelance, paid work, it's helping me to keep track of time for clients as well. It's a great product!

Pros

Clockify is a great free tool for keeping track of your time. There are a lot of capabilities available in the free version, and of course, there are more available in the paid version.

Cons

It is easy to forget to sign out, and the categories don't have the amount of personalization that I'd like sometimes. By which I mean that I'd like different levels within levels.
