I track my own time with clockify, and I also use the reports for invoicing for clients and payroll for employees. The different types of reports is extremely helpful, and the ability to view summaries vs details is as well. I also like that I can sort my results - I tend to go highest duration to least rather than alphabetical order, and I love that I can customize that. It's also easy to pull into excel to look at month over month or year over year usage.

Pros

Clockify has a very easy interface to navigate. You can drill down on reports as well as save in different formats, it saves most recently used projects to use again when tracking, and the dashboard allows you to see the most recent work done by your team quickly.

Cons

The only wish I have is that the default file name of the reports included the filter ie instead of "Clockify report date range" it had employee's name or client's name. When running multiple reports it would be helpful to not have to rename them all.

I have had myself quite an extraordinary experience with Clockify. Tracking and managing time has ever since become such an efficient task for me which has been key to making my days productive. Clockify makes it easy to capture all time usage data and offers detailed time reports which showcase areas where i might be wasting time.

Pros

Clockify ease of access and use which i attribute to its user-friendly interface, makes it easy to track time at any point of the day from anywhere. The detailed time reports are great aspects for me as they make it easy to understand how i have been spending my time. I also like its swift integration with other products as it makes it easy to track how i spend time across these products. Clockify automations allows me to capture time data automatically without having to feed them in manually.

Cons

Clockify has made a strong impression, i cannot remember anytime i have ever disliked anything about it.

Extremely happy with the product. We use it daily and have no plans to stop.

Pros

Love the free tier to try it out and the integration with Outlook and Google calendar to make entering timesheet entries easy by copying calendar entries. Also great that you can assign time estimates to projects and individual tasks in projects to track actual vs. estimated time. This is great for agencies with multiple clients and projects that need to be accurately tracked.

Cons

Sad that they changed their billing to per user. Initially it was based on an annual license, which made it very cost effective for small teams and allowed us to add/remove individual users as needed. Now a bit more expensive to do that, but still worth the cost considering the features offered.

What I like the most is that the environment is really easy to use for our team, I like how the team is frequently adding functions.

Cons

I don't like something specific, what I usually happens is that I need something additional. I let them know what I need and the team usually tries to implement it. Now I need more freedom to give permissions to my team members jajajaj

Every time my productivity lowers it's because I haven't tracked my time. When I do tasks that can take up a whole hour or sometimes a day take 6 minutes. It's honestly a life saver that helps me focus on important tasks in a sea of distractions.

Pros

I love being able to measure how much time I spend on my work. I've tired tons of apps and Clockify comes out on top. It has consistently boosted by productivity to new levels time and time again.

Cons

I'm very picky and there isn't actually anything I dislike.

Great experience overall. It has become a pivotal tool in my business operations

Pros

1\. The ability to export all my tracking data for further analytics 2. The dashboard view. Super customizable and the visuals are very intuitive.

Cons

1\. Sometimes the dates in the exported csv are not recognized as dates on g-sheet so I have to transform them a bit 2. Not really something I like least but a feature I would love to have is if I could have the ability to aggregate the donut on the dashboard based on the category and not just allocation. I have many allocations in each category and sometimes I just want to see how many hours spent per category.

It is exceptional. I do not have to worry about documenting my hours. The report is very simple yet informative for my employers.

Pros

I can monitor my working hours and I can be detailed with my tasks so my employer knows my productivity. It helps me to keep my hours within the hour requirement set by my employer. Clockify is also very helpful in monitory tasks I have done. It is very accessible because I access clockify through my computer and my smartphone.

Cons

Sometimes there are notifications about me being logged in more than 8 hours and sometimes no notifications at all. But it's okay because I make sure I am totally logged out before turning off my computer.

It's positive feeling to using Clockify every day. I manage the tasks with Github Project or Trello. When I start a task, I just copy & paste the task name into Clockify. Things are simple. Time logs are great, the components are easy to navigate.

Pros

Exporting Reports by time range and other criteria. That helps freelancers like me a lot when we need to send the time sheet to clients.

Cons

Task creation and management. Clockify provides a task list for each of project. But this feature is not helpful. I still need to use other task manager tool because there are more things to do with tasks such as detailed description with markdown support or sub tasks, due date, etc.

Pros

I work for a lot of clients simultaneously and it can be difficult to assess how much work I'm doing for each of them during any given week. Clockify solves that issue immediately.

Honestly, I don't have any issues - it does what I need it to do and I can rely upon it.

Pros

Easy-to-use and intuitive interface. A tool so easy a 5-year-old can operate it, I love their professional yet minimalistic frontend design.

Cons

If you punch in using one device and try to punch out using another, the clock does not stop. At times, you are automatically logged out, even when the page is supposed to run continuously due to the active timer.

I really have nothing bad to say about this app. I like its clarity, fairness, design... Its fast and reliable. Well done.

Pros

I like the simple yet clear design. THe UI is very good. I know where to find all. NOthing is hgidden yet if I dont need the function its not disturbing. I use it daily and its very good! Also I like that I dont need to pay money to use the most basic stuff and I dont get bombarded by action to purchase something. It actually does make me wanna pay it more than if i did get some popup about some discount on premium or some like other apps do.

Cons

Sometimes I used to have login problems. It was like my account was never here to begin with. But usually it is fixed when i use it on different browser. (I use mozzila)

It's been great, my company switched over from a different program that was much more complicated to input your hours and Clockify has saved tons of time. Creating weekly templates for recurring meetings and having your Outlook calendar uploaded makes everything so easy.

Pros

It imports your Outlook calendar directly into Clockify for easy viewing. So you don't have to create events in Outlook and then when you're reporting hours in Clockify, you don't need to create them a second time.

Cons

I wish there were an easier way to create weekly templates for the calendar function. You can edit the template's name on the time sheet tab, but you can't edit the events within the template.

Excellent I've been using it for 5 years now.

Pros

It's ease of use and the fact you can just pick up where you left off. So if I was working on a job/task yesterday at close of play, I can just click the Play icon and it will start a new entry for this day without me having to assign the task to a group or anything.

Cons

Nothing really, it does exactly what I need it to. I think more Calendar options would be nice for figuring out hours worked between certain time periods.

We had been using another time tracking application previously for our team, but switched over to Clockify after reviewing several options. Clockify provided the "best bang for our buck" and was very easy for our team to switch over to using. Clockify is very user-friendly and even our least technology inclined team members have used it with ease.

Pros

Clockify has made it so incredibly easy for our team to track time and export it to run our payroll. Our team does a lot of project-based work remotely and this makes it so seamless to have each person track their own time and allows our payroll person to pull everything at once and not have to reach out to each person to get their timesheets.

Cons

We are a small operation and some of the features that we would really love to have are not available in our package - it would be nice to be able to upgrade only 1 user instead of having to do the whole team.

I’m happy and overall very satisfied with Clockify.

Pros

What I appreciate the most is that Clockify is constantly improving. Even when I encounter occasional bugs, they are quickly addressed. Over the years that our company has been using Clockify, it has evolved tremendously and in the right direction.

Cons

I don’t have any lasting complaints about the desktop app. Any bugs that might irritate me are usually fixed quickly, so there’s nothing negative to mention there. However, I would like to use the mobile app more often, as it would sometimes be more convenient to access the timer on the go. Unfortunately, the app crashes frequently, logs me out a lot, and almost always has issues with login, which makes it difficult to rely on.
