Plus its free and the paid plan is affordable! Pros Clockify has a great free version to use for a team or yourself. I use this for my marketing agency and it is so easy to use, I can walk any through the steps in 10 minutes. It helps me manage my client project timeload, what each team member is working on, and how we can reduce our workload at a glance. Cons We at times have more "Without Projects" clocked and wish it would notify the user as sometimes it is difficult to remember what tasks were performed. I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs a simple to time tracker. The paid version has many great features I simply don't need them. They are worth checking out to see if they fit your business needs. Many of them are better suited for multi-employee businesses as opposed to mine where I am the sole employee. Pros As an independent consultant that provides services remotely, Clockify makes it easy to track my hours using a simple app. I can add clients and sub-projects quickly and begin tracking with a click. This is helpful for both hourly and fixed projects. For hourly projects, I can accurately track my billed hours. I also track my time for fixed projects so that I know how much time it took me to complete a project. This helps adjust my pricing for future projects. If I forget to turn off the timer after I stop working on my computer, Clockify will ask if it should remove "idle" time. When you log into your account via their website, you can create a number of reports such as total time per client/project over selected dates. Cons Occasionally make me relogin into their app through their website. It would be nice if I could be done natively through the app. At random, I may have to click "stop" a couple of times to stop the timer. Review Source TM Trisha M. The reporting is great and it is easy to enter time. Pros I like the auto tracking to make sure I don't miss work I did. Cons I think my only is problem is with me...sometimes I forget to stop the clock. It is really easy to start using it, and extremely simple to get used to. Cons For what I use, I do not have any cons. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, it could be a bit faster to load the projects and tags, however, it is in no way slow, it is just it takes a bit to load them, but, never a problem! I have been using it for over a year and almost every day. It started when I realized that I wasn't getting many hours done in my school and that I was getting distracted somehow. That is when I started to use Clockify. I literally timed everything that I was doing, from eating breakfast to going to the bathroom. It kept me on track and made me more disciplined. I have been using it ever since then and I find it the so useful. I especially like that all the features that I need are not Pro features. Thanks whoever made Clockify! Pros I love that I am able to track everything that I do. It helps me keep on track and shows me how much time I spend doing each subject in my school. I also love that you can have projects with sub-tasks. This helps to categorize the subjects in my total group of school. Cons There are certain features that are only for Pro. Once trying it out and seeing how quickly and easily I could get started tracking - and how detailed I could be in the process! - I implemented it immediately. It's been my go-to since and I recommend it to anyone who tracks time. Pros I have worked in so many jobs that require timekeeping and Clockify is by far the easiest to implement, use, and manage. The simplicity of adding clients, projects, task details, etc. along with the ability to export reports and timesheets cannot compare to other products! It's fantastic! I recommend it to everyone! Pros I found Clockify after the time tracking tool I previously used raised their price to an unjustifiable amount. Clockify was exactly the tool I needed, even better than the tool it replaced for me. Its feature set is complete, the UI is clean and clear, the price point is good, and the functionality across devices, including to the mobile app is seamless. Reports are easy to run and complete. Cons One small quibble I have is the way the "What are you working on" field works. The previous tool I used had two fields, one that worked more as a summary, with another field available for detailed notes. While I like that approach, this is a very small difference that is perfectly workable as Clockify does it. Switched from [Paymo](https://www.capterra.com/p/137033/Paymo/) Paymo built many features into their offering which we did not need, and then significantly raised the price to factor in the value of the new features. I manage the tasks with Github Project or Trello. When I start a task, I just copy & paste the task name into Clockify. Things are simple. Time logs are great, the components are easy to navigate. Pros Exporting Reports by time range and other criteria. That helps freelancers like me a lot when we need to send the time sheet to clients. Cons Task creation and management. Clockify provides a task list for each of project. But this feature is not helpful. A friend introduced me to it and now that I have my own business, I rely heavily on Clockify to help keep me organized with where I spend my time. I'm a sole proprietorship and the free version has almost every feature that I want. And it's super intuitive to use. I love the Time Tracker feature because it lets me start and stop the clock when I work on a new project. I appreciate that I can easily track multiple clients AND their multiple projects. The export feature makes it easy to sort billing and provide a detailed accounting on time spent when I do my invoicing. Overall, this is an excellent product. Pros I appreciate that I get a lot of value with the free version. As a sole proprietorship, the Clockify is really easy to use and makes it simple to track multiple clients AND projects and then sort them when it's time to invoice. Cons I wish there was an "undo" botton. I have been bitten more than once by accidentally changing a the wrong time entry or deleting the wrong entry. (I have a really short memory, and I sometimes forget to make a note of details before I make changes.)
