" April 11, 2026 4.0 My overall experience with Clockify has been a postive and profitable one. I use it daily and was able to restructure my client billing based on tasks and time spent. Pros I use Clockify daily and recommend this product to most of my clients. Clockify is easy to use, cost effective and a usefull tool when it comes to task management and client billing. One of the best things about this product is that it can be tailored to specific needs. I love that there are multiple subscription levels so most people can just pay for the features they need. Clockify also offers free basic time tracking. Once I started using the free version, I was able to really look at where my time was spent and realized I was not using my time as efficiently and profitably as I thought. I also use the mobile app to track time, billing and driving when I consult with clients out of the office. Cons I have not find anything I do not like about Clockify but I also do not use any of the advanced features or highler subcription levels. The time tracking features, reporting and mobile app are perfect for my needs to help me manage my business and small team of contractors. Founder and CEO Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "At least it’s not crashing on me every 5 minutes" January 6, 2026 4.0 Prior to implementing the time clock I had my employees simply submit an invoice to me when they were ready and probably worked shorter hours than they should have. But the time clock has allowed me to monitor how many hours they're actually worked and that's been really refreshing. The checklist on the food truck is great, as my employees are now doing the work I ask of them. They don’t talk to each other as yet but I no longer need to enter information across 5 different programs. Pros I am eating a half eaten sandwich in the break room and attempting to complete my administrative work. This is good as the scheduling system is working out well and none of my employees are complaining about it too much. They also offer a rewards voucher program that we may utilize during the new year, provided that we are still operating at that point. The chat feature is functional for reducing the number of times that my personal cell phone is blowing up with texts. Cons I think the learning curve is going to be monumental and I am not sure how much of their webinars or meetings I’m going to be able to tolerate. The vendor sends us the recordings afterwards but I struggle to find this as it’s buried deep in some menu and there are hundreds of different settings. The module for reporting on employee time off is nearly pointless as you cannot edit how things appear to view, only what I require to see. Review Source Angelita D. It is great to know on what I am spending my most of the time. Pros I like it as it is a simple and easy tool to boost your productivity and dont feel like a manager watching me what I am doing. The timer can be started with one click and I can keep track of my work. Cons Sometime the amount of data you see on the dashboard can feel too much. Also to find something in a report can takes extra clicks which feels a little waste of time. It has stopped the constant arguments about whose hours are what hours as everything is now logged digitally. I forgot to log my hours yesterday and I could easily go in and add them after the end of the month. My cold coffee is staring at me but at least I don’t have to deal with spreadsheets. Pros The facial recognition did catch my face. I liked how I can log into the app from my phone, I am rarely sitting at my desk so I appreciate that feature. All you do is tap a button and it goes. I didn’t have to read through the instructions or a manual to learn how to use the basic buttons. Cons It seems like sometimes it will take an eternity to sync the app from my laptop to my phone. I also get bugged by the app asking for gps permission every day. Like why does it need to know I’m in the break room for the fifth time today? I never had a need to go to the paid version. Pros It is free, it clocks your time. It is simple to create projects and tasks and you can see how the tasks make up a project in a report. Cons What I liked the least and what caused me to switch to Jibble was that it did not update my time immediately when I was organizing my time entries by task and adding up my hours in the project report. It just was very inaccurate, I can't have that for my billed time. I like how you can assign hours to different projects which really helps when people are doing additional hours. Pros There is a lot of functionality to explore and we are probably not utilising it to it's fullest just yet! The expenses function is so easy and great to use on the go. Cons There's not much I don't like about the system but overall it was just a huge change from the outdated ways we were doing things before so it was a bit of a learning curve for some employees who may not feel very tech-savvy. That is not really a criticism of Clockify though! I don’t need to use actual cash register paper any longer which saves me hours each pay period doing payroll. There is an option to view vacation and work hours in one place so no employee will be confused about who is working vs. who is off. Pros Clockify works. Thank God. My PC didn’t die when I started up the app. I like how the side bar navigates easily. I didn’t need to open a guide book to get to the team settings. I feel relieved that it has the ability to handle multiple projects so I can see were the time is being spent through peak times. Cons As far as syncing speeds go they are really slow between devices most of the time. I haven't found another website that I prefer over this one. Pros its free which I like. I do like the ease of use for keeping track of multiple clients, as I am a VA for a few different people. I also like that you can do timer or manual time entries. I use it to associate time with specific projects and record project activity. Pros I use Clockify free to record all of my consulting time for customers, in order to charge for hours worked, and I have to say this is one product where I don’t NEED to upgrade to access features, but I feel I will anyway, because the developers DESERVE the payment. The product is slick, works well for reporting, simple to run reports with all the detail needed, tag support. If you need to record and allocate time, then Clockify does the job perfectly. Cons I don’t like that I can find a way to edit seconds on manually entered time entries. This is such. Minor issue that’s it’s almost a none issue, but that would be the only thing. Made a big difference to how we manage our time in the workplace. It tracks time but in the long run, saves time too. Pros Brilliant software for tracking the amount of time employees use for jobs so that we can ensure the right amount of time is being offered to them in the future. This means less burnout for employees and deadlines being met consistently. The free plan is also great - we never felt a pressure to upgrade for a good service. Cons There's no auto-scheduling or shift swaps and no ready-made reports available. Si l'on souhaite activer une tâche plus ancienne, il faut créer un nouveau projet.
