Highly recommend for any freelance or startup work. Pros I absolutely love the strong core features Clockify has for projects and time tracking. It is easy to use with the start/stop timer. We were on it for over 3 years and the overall experience was really good. Pros It was simple to use, very intuitive, and I was able to track my hours very easily. The phone app helped as well. Cons We could not find a perfect integration with our payroll system. At the moment, we use Deel, and there is no integration. I love that I can add it as a browser extension and easily log time without having to switch tabs. Cons Sometimes when sending reports it can be easy to forget to change the settings to "last two weeks" and it seems to be defaulted to the last time I used it? Not sure, but I have accidentally downloaded the wrong report - possibly just user error. I can track hours designers and copywriters spend on client work and create clean reports for billing. This Chrome extension is used by your team to start/stop timers without having to leave the place where they are working. Pros It was a well known app that seemed to register with a lot of people on the team i was a part of. Had no issues in terms of use. Cons It was difficult to use and figure out. I particularly like the fact that it’s got a free version that can do a lot, it gives you an idea of what the app is and helps you decide if you want a paid plan and surprisingly there’s even more advanced features and I like the fact that it can integrate with other tools. Cons The mobile interface feels a little bit too much, if I may say it needs a cleaner more easily accessible interface. The constant bug is also an issue which Ofcourse requires frequent updates. Very simple and efficient." December 22, 2024 5.0 Clockify has made it so easy to track time which help me to understand how well or poor am utilizing my time both at work and at personal activities. It provides clear time reports that help me to determine areas where i need to do better to achieve healthy work time management. The experience with Clockify has been a very productive one and i will keep choosing it over the other tools. Pros Its seamless integration with work management tools makes it easy to track our time consumption during projects. Clockify has a very great auto-tracker tool that allows me to automatically track my time usage making the process very simple, efficient and less time taking. Clockify is very easy to use and i like how intuitive the user interface is and how neatly the dashboard is organized. It also has a very exceptional reporting tool that help generate detailed time usage reports. More to just time tracking, Clockify has some team scheduling tools that help me and my team to plan and schedule for our work shifts. Cons I have not had any unpleasing moments with Clockify. I know I've had a problem in the past with hours not showing a monetary value which has been a software error however it's been sorted quickly. Really easy to amend and also get useful reports from that can be used internally and shared externally via links Cons There isn't really anything I don't like about it. User friendly for time off requests, scheduling, etc. Cons It was a bit clunky for manufacturing employees to track time and projects without getting bogged down in too much detail. Cons I'm going to sound like I work for them, but I swear to you I don't. I just have not found anything not to like about this software yet. It's easy to navigate and you can set up projects to time different aspects of your business. Cons it felt a little clunky, e.g.g it seemed to put me on manual and then at times I'd forget to stop it so timing wasn't accurate. I use it for different jobs and for multiple projects within those jobs. It is easy to use, easy to track time either 'live' or retrospectively if I forget to turn on the time tracker. It is easy to view my time by project, by month, by year or other measures. Pros Easy to track time on multiple projects and classify the work within each project. Pros It is flexible; we can use it on as an app on the phone and computer. Its summary can show useful breakdown of hours used for invoicing. Cons I often could not update the laptop app when it shows that updates are necessary. We can't stop the timer without input of project; sometimes it's difficult to search the project we're tracking if we forget our labels. The 'Description' label can be confusing and cannot be edited once inserted at the beginning of tracking for a project.
