It's great for tracking time with customers and projects. I would not easily use anything else Pros It's very easy to use and have very functional reporting. I use it daily to keep track of billing Cons The only problem I have is getting the mobile APP to work when switching phones. Pros I love how Clockify is so flexible for its users. There are times that I tend to forget to clock in because I was in a rush or started early and didn't notice the time, Clockify will let me edit my time sheet. Cons Sometime when saving my timesheet and converting it to PDF. It sometime won't work and I need to restart or reboot the app. Switched from [Asana](https://www.capterra.com/p/184581/Asana-PM/) I find Clockify easy to use that the previous tool I used. It's been instrumental in keeping me disciplined and accountable on my work, and I am grateful for all the deep work I have achieved thanks to it. Pros I love its simplicity, pleasing user-interface ability to use it on Mobile and Desktop. Cons The ability to easily share and view others work on projects would be great, perhaps even a leader board functionality amongst shared groups. Pros I like that I'm able to use Clockify on my phone when I'm away from my laptop to punch on breaks or lunch. It gives me the flexibility that I need everyday when I want to just take a nap at my sofa away from my computer. Cons I mainly use Clockify to track the time I spent for every activity. I think the only thing is that I need to click on multiple sections to start recording an activity. I will always recommend it as a time tracking software. Pros It helps me as a solopreneur keep track of my hours for all of my different clients and puts a wonderful element of transparency. Cons Honestly it is just so great. I don't have anything bad to say I have used it since it came out. Any issues in the beginning were addressed. I recommend it all the time. October 7, 2024 5.0 My overall experience with Clockify has been satisfactory. Pros I like that the user-interface is simple and straight-forward to use making logging my hours stress-free and quick. I also like the reports feature which lets me review how much time I've spent on certain tasks and estimate my earnings over a period of time. Cons I think what I didn't like is the ability of having a timer-like feature. Sometimes might forget to keep track of when I started a task so I have problems figuring that out when I need to input the start and end timestamps for the task. It would be nice to have a feature where I can begin a task on the platform and then when I'm done, I simply click a button to end it at the current timestamp. Researcher Research Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Balance Your Time, Balance Your Life: My Experience with Clockify" October 7, 2024 5.0 I find this a really useful tool, I get distracted often adn am usually multi tasking. Using Clockify has made me realise that I sometimes spend a lot longer on things than I realise and that sometimes I am sat at my desk a long time but when trying to switch between tasks I am not doing as much as I thought on other tasks. It has also shown mean where I do an hour or two here and there how much it adds up and I feel reassured I spent enough time researching or reading on a task for an assignment. The other useful thing is showing me how much time it takes me to do homebased chores around the house and helps give me a realistic time to plan now. It is especially useful to support you if you are juggling family life with working and studying and feel you are not doing enough or doing too much - it shows you where you need to balance your time. Pros It showed me how I was actually using my time, it was very easy to click and start or stop the timer and the layout makes it easy to see at a glance how long I spent on each task. Cons My only suggestion would be if you could have a button to press for interruptions for example for 5 or 10 minutes when you haven't stopped the task. although you can pause it and restart. For me I have to clock at the end of the day so I don't forget, but it has become a tab I always keep open and refer to often. Pros It makes me really think about where I am spending my time across accounts and how I can be more efficient. It also is very helpful for me seeing how my direct reports are doing and how I can reduce their hours at work. Cons This is very minor but I want to order my projects in a certain way and they keep defaulting to a different order. Additionally, would love to see more views in reporting, such as monthly or WoW.
