I cannot recommend it enough and all new hires at my firm I tell them about it as it will make their life so much easier. The fact you can just push a button to start and end time and choose which engagements to allocate time to is fantastic. Pros It makes it easy to keep track of my time across my various engagements, expediting the month-end time keeping process my firm does. Cons There is nothing I dislike about clockify. Running any kind of report is just a few clicks, and the ability to have different projects, clients, and tags allows me to easily organize my time. Pros The browser extension allows me to easily track my time across many different projects. I can even adjust and edit times directly via the extension. Cons Really nothing. As a freelancer, it has everything I need. I have not experienced any difficulty in using the platform in over a year. I have not faced any issue with the free version. It is best time keeping software for individual freelancers I would say. Pros I have been using free version of Clockify for over a year now. It has enabled me to have better time calculations for the online tutions I offer to high school students. I like that it allows me to create projects where I sort each student separately. I can easily download sumary of each month lessons for each stident at the end of the month. It allows me to have different price for different project which is cool as I charge differently depending on the nature of the subject I tutor. Cons The only con is that it does not allow to change the currency in free version that I have been using so far. I am based in Europe so currency is Euro but i tutor to US students whose families pay in Dollers. However, it is not a problem as I inly have to explain this once to new families that even though it shows euros, I charge in dollars. Review Source SS Saurabh S. It really helps keep me accountable and makes sure I don't have any gaps that I have to try and remember later. It's also nice to be able to look back and see which clients are taking up the bulk of my time and makes it easier to prioritize and bill clients accordingly. Big time saver for sure! Cons I initially had some issues with getting the reminders to pop up, but it turns out it was an issue on my end with my notification settings. Pros I've used clockify for over 5 years now, and it has just constantly gotten better and better. It is very simple to use, easy to duplicate entries to avoid tedious repetition. I also really like using the mobile app- if I've forgotten to make an entry, I can literally get it into the system within 2 minutes. Love! Cons I think my only negative feedback for clockify is that while the duplicating feature is great, it would be awesome to be able to duplicate multiple entries at a time for maximum efficiency.
