I am happy with Clockify. Pros Clockify helps me a lot in time tracking my coding time, debugging time, sprint time and team discussion time. What I like is that it is simple and does not disturbs my workflow, and I could generate reports that could help me envision my daily working hour allocation for time management and focus on priorities. Cons Not really many points of complaint here though! Switching multiple projects on a number of days a week could be streamlined. Also i would like the reports dash-board a bit more detailed filter and configuration options in relation to analyzing development work. I enjoyed the flexibility in clocking in/out, and also the ability to download individual employee reports. Cons I did not like how there was no GPS tracking feature, which could potentially lead to falsifying hours. Please note that we do offer the GPS tracking feature on the Pro paid plan, it works with the mobile phone apps for Clockify on Android and iOS. It helped me understand my productivity patterns better without needing to pay for a premium plan, which makes it a great starting point for individuals. Pros Clockify makes time tracking incredibly simple and the free plan is genuinely generous compared to other tools. I can start and stop timers easily, categorize tasks by project, and the reports give a clear breakdown of where my time actually goes. It works well across devices and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. Cons Some of the more advanced features like detailed billing and automation are locked behind paid plans, so as a free/individual user I don't get access to everything. Before it was for tracking freelance tasks, now it's for my personal productivity and it's great in either case! Pros The history logging and metrics of your tasks (i.e., how much time you spend in total on one type of client or project type. Cons Not a ton that I despise. There are some gated features that are available only when you subscribe, and I did'nt find the cost of the tool was worth accessing those. It's perfect for all levels. Pros Very easy to set up and use. I can track time on different clients and break out by projects. Color coding projects is very helpful in evaluating reports. Cons Literally no cons that I can think of. No downtime. When I forget to clock out, I receive an email notification that the timer is still running. I don't use this with a team, so those that have a larger team may have a different experience. And the “Offline Sync” feature seems surprisingly good as well and even saves the data when I lose my internet connection in the basement and the customer service is also good. Pros I like Clockify to log the start and stop of my clock. I liked having the Chrome version so I wouldn’t have to open another tab to get into it. I’m just happy it has been working to track my time without freezing up my computer. I also am glad we were able to replace the paper cards with it – I didn’t like those anyway. Cons The reports are such a pain to review when all I need are my in and out times. Additionally, since some of us are on multiple projects we can’t merge those project tasks together — each one needs to be done separately from each other. It is great to be able to export it and make it look pretty Pros Clockify is the best for managing time clocks for different projects. I really like how you can export the time you clock and also update and manage new projects Cons Sometimes the interface can be a bit confusing and start/stop button can glitch out. I still use it today when my projects require hourly tracking. Pros I have been using Clockify since 2021 and found it to be an excellent value for the money. It’s very easy to get started and to use. Tracking projects and then generating reports are where it excels. Cons Honestly, I didn’t find any “cons” when working with Clockify. The product was better than others that I tried in this category.
