With clockify I can just focus on my work and am assured that it will be settled honestly for both me and my clients with ease. Pros Easy to use tool to manage your working hours and create beautiful reports. Helps a lot with hourly billing contracts and managing collaborators. Cons At beginning was hoping to use auto-tracking with plugin but found out that it is not precise enough to count on it. It helps me to see where my time is spent on projects and where there can be changes made for future projects. Pros I like that clockify is easy to use. This program is great for tracking time on projects. In engineering we use time tracking to verify that we are not under/over charging for our services. We also use the different labels to pinpoint areas that use more time. The labels on each project help future projects for time use and how many areas there are that need time tracking. Cons The only thing I do not like is sometimes when tracking times the program will not let me adjust times. For instance, I need to have the time start at 0800 and end at 1100. Once in awhile I will only allow 1059. No matter how many times I change it to 1100 it bounces back to 1059. I end up deleting that entry and putting it in again. Occasionally when needing to adjust times, getting the correct day and time is difficult. There have been times that the tracking went to another day; while adjusting the time/day it will not allow the correction resulting in deleting the event and re-enter the time/day for the project. Pros It works very well for time tracking - keeping everything organised and well structured. I only wish we could use this as a full project management system, with communications for each project/task, but it does a really good job at the time bit. And I prefer it over the other time tracking tools I've tried. Cons The inability to delete tasks, instead they get archived? It would also be nice to have recurring projects or tasks so we can effectively track time each month without having to close and open new tasks or leave the tasks open and lose the benefit of having the progress and status elements. I assume they're a small crew but they get you going again more clearly and faster than any big software company I've dealt with. Super-friendly and knowledgeable folks. You're chatting (or, I assume talking, if you're one of those weirdos who likes the phone 😂) in moments, and it's never taken more than 5-10 minutes to get the solution into my thick skull. This software is this critical to my livelihood, and that gives me enormous peace of mind. Pros Clockify does everything that I need, without a ton of features that I'll never use convoluting the UI. I researched a lot, tried the trial, and really haven't looked back. I have recommended it to friends and colleagues and they're all still using it. Cons I never did figure out how to customize the invoices exactly how I'd like. The reporting also allows me to provided evidence to customers that work has been carried out as agreed thus reducing the push back. The reporting also allow me to do trending analysis against job estimates so I can work out if I am loosing money or making a profit over my costs. It enables the company to be more competitive and quote correctly. Cons Access to some of the feature via the radio buttons is difficult to bring up. There is some features on the Time Sheet entry under Calendar that is difficult to invoke. Clockify was able to meet my need on my budget and has been very user friendly to me. I have recommended this tool to other and will continue to do so. Pros Clockify works really well for my small business! It tracks time easily, even down to the minute. I can create projects and assigned tasks so my team can select which tasks and projects they're working on. It takes out the confusion of remembering what work was completed. I also can view time worked quickly as well as create and send invoices to clients. It has a nice user layout and is user friendly. For questions, I can easily check the help section and am able to learn quickly what I don't know. I also like that Clockify offers several different tiers of plans, so I only pay for what I need and not for what I don't. Recently, I needed to decommission one user and add a different one, and it was a quick process, which is nice for a small business owner with limited time to troubleshoot Q+A. It's easy to use, powerful and probably my most commonly used software other than the office tools. Pros Clockify has a simple learning curve, but has deep flexibility to tailor the information you are capturing to your needs, even on the free version. Clockify provides increasing visibility - as you use it consistently - of the patterns of your work. In doing so, it provides a virtual accountability buddy, too. As a freelancer, it can be tempting to take just that extra five minutes for a coffee or a break. That really shows up in your work record at the end of the day, though, particularly since I also use it to capture billable hours using that built-in functionality. It's a programme I use at least five days a week but often seven, as I use it to track my personal studies and training too. You can generate reports from it, too, which allow you to drill down into specific actions. All of this is available with the free version. The paid versions add extra functionality, particularly for teams. Having it available as a synced app on my phone is also very useful. Cons There's really nothing I dislike about Clockify.
