The reviews are accurate and match my current experience with those services. Pros I like good electrical deals and from time to time new and unknown to me online stores appear with great deals. As I have not heard from them my first stop is Trustpilot to understand if those stores are legitimate or not. And so far I have to say the reviews I read on Trustpilot are matching my experience so so far I trust them. Cons I do not have any visibility into how Trustpilot tackles fraudulent reviews or just how they make sure what I read on their site is authentic. I mean so far my experience matches what I was reading in the reviews but that could be pure luck. It would be great if they would have some public data about how they moderate the user content. My first tool is to put them in Trustpilot and check, if Trustpilot shows a good rate, then I will proceed otherwise will ignore them. Pros Trustpilot is helpful to evaluate any software or web site. Rank, Number of Excellent or Great can be considered to evaluate any web sites. Cons I have nothing to mark as cons. Cons I could not pay my subscription due to treasury reasons (new startup) so they downgraded my subscription to free. I said it's okay I'll pay as soon as I get the loan. Then a solicitor contacted me to collect 2100 euros for the 3 months I used and 3 months that I did not use + his own fees. I paid trustpilot directly to avoid the solicitor fees for months I haven't even used but they are asking me now to pay the solicitor before they reactivate my account ( I will still have to pay the 3rd trimester soon while not using their premium services) Before I sign the contract, everyone was nice. Now everyone is saying they can't do anything about it. I don't care about losing the 200 reviews I collected, changing to a competitor ASAP. Cons We are a small company and it can be pretty expensive for the higher tiers of TrustPilot and difficult for us to justify the expense. It has an enormous user-base and you can see feedback from people all over the world. While I do not trust Trustpilot unequivocally, whenever I can, I try to use it when making purchasing decisions. Cons Trustpilot should invest more in filtering. Especially recently, I have noticed a lot of reviews that I would bet money have been written by the relevant product owner. Whenever our software detects clearly fraudulent reviews, the review is moved offline and we send an email to notify the reviewer (we won't send an email if the review is clearly advertising or promotional content). This provides reviewers with an opportunity to correct any false positives. However, if we have overwhelming evidence that the review is fake, we won't reinstate it. Cons Sometimes we get a 1-3 star review that's clearly a great review; a customer reviewer says "we really went the extra mile to ensure they got the right item" and we get low star rating, which hurts our overall score, but Trustpilot will not try to get customers to change the rating even though the intent behind the rating's words suggest a positive experience. Is anyone there actually communicating with one another!!!!! What kind of joke company is this, well this is my GENUINE EXPERIENCE of you as a company as you claim to state and confirm with every review written "disgusted" causing me hours of wasted time, that I feel I should bill you for.
