We were able to verify if people actually purchased products from us and get some fake reviews dropped off. Cons Our brand has a few companies under the same umbrella and it's frustrating we can't separate them out. Also, no control on who writes a review. March 7, 2018 5.0 Pros I like that the set-up is clean and can easily integrate into our site if we choose to do so. You can also directly reply to the review to thank or help the customer further. Cons I wish there was more control for businesses over poor reviews that aren't justified. It would also be great to list the item the customer purchased and when it was purchased to clarify any issues they had to other customers. Pros Trustpilot is very well regarded, and has been used as a Customer Satisfaction Index for KPIs at several customer facing businesses I've worked at. Admins can leave a reply to reviews but have no option to remove or edit them, which adds a lot of credibility. Cons Steep difference for the premium version, which isn't really worth it for very small businesses. A 'lite' version of the premium membership, such as 'beginner' or 'lite' account would be worth considering. A part form the unpleasant reviews or simple bias which is hard to report to the platform to review. Pros The platform is an excellent option if your are looking to enrich your customers experience and/or start building a better business through customer feedback. Cons While the review process is simple and straighforward, anyone can review your business which is great but keeps an open window for headaches as even non customers can leave reviews bias which can hurt your overall review rating. It's a no-brainer. Pros Trustpilot was incredibly easy to use and easy to set up. We started getting reviews right away from customers and we definitely saw our conversion rate increase because of this. Cons There really isn't anything I can think of that I did not like about Trustpilot. Maybe it could be cheaper? The best tools deserve good money though in my opinion. The reporting system is well-engineered and makes it easy to deal with fake reviews. We feel like Trustpilot 'has our back' in the review-space! Cons We wish randoms couldn't review organically without going through some type of verification. Cons The sales team are very aggressive. With every company we have worked with, they always complain about the pushy and aggressive sales tactics used by Trustpilot. Their contracts are also not very fair, ensuring they make money with very little support for the customer. Pros Trustpilot is very straightforward in terms of use along with a visually-pleasing layout for our clients to reference and utilize. Cons Though I would not say there is anything I particularly dislike about Trustpilot, I believe a good additional feature to include in future versions would be to allow businesses being reviewed to have an opportunity to work with reviewers placing negative reviews to amend any issues prior to the reviews being publicly posted. Every now and then, we receive negative reviews that are simply unwarranted with no prior context. Often times these reviewers can easily be encouraged to rescind their harsh take after. Pros I like the filters you can toggle to view the most positive or negative reviews, I also like how there are publish dates on the reviews and how you can search for the most recent reviews. Cons Sometimes the reviews can be misleading or a bit fake, so it would be useful to have some additional verification of the review writer and/or a filter that filters out reviews from users whom haven't went through additional verification. Pros This provides a fantastic neutral platform for gauging a consumers opinion on a business. This is especially useful for us to determine whether to pursue a relationship with them or to look elsewhere. Cons I guess the limitation is that it can be prone to receiving negative feedback from competitor businesses.
