Pros: Great value for the money. Cloud based so there are no hardware expenses. iPhone and Android applications make clearing work orders easy. Very reliable - it's never not worked. We use the product to create preventive maintenance work orders to ensure the reliability of the city public safety radio system. The facilities include AC units, UPSs, and various types of RF equipment that need to be regularly inspected or tested. It's the perfect product for this purpose.

Cons: It can be a bit complicated - some of which is simply due to it being browser/cloud based rather than a stand-alone application.

Overall: Regular preventive maintenance is what has given us 100% up time over the past 12 months. Fiix (formerly Maintenance Assistant) is key to ensuring all preventive maintenance tasks are performed regularly.

This program has been very easy to implement and use.

Pros: The work order portion of this software is very easy to use. Works very well for tracking history, receiving new issues and documenting work progress. Organizes the work orders very well. The link for employees to submit work orders works well and the submission form is easy for anyone to fill out without much difficulty.

Cons: The mobile app is not designed the way that works best for me or my techs. It does show new work orders easily but it is hard to close out work orders and provide documentation. It is much easier to take notes in the field and then use the computer log in program to finish this portion of the work orders.

Overall: We have been far more organized and can store documents digitally now that would have been in a filing cabinet. Also eliminates the need for phone calls and email to request work to be performed. This is our first software system. Prior to this we did all paper tracking.

Comments: The biggest advantage this software has brought our company is finally having a indexed system for PM information. Instead of looking up PMs in a log book all we need to do is search the WO history.

Pros: Very easy to use, and very easy to train other employee's on its use. At our company we have quite a lot of older employee's that usually have trouble with technology. I recently trained a technician who isn't to good with computers and he can already navigate the UI and submit WOs.

Cons: The only con I have found so far is that I can't seem to print the asset tags. It just doesn't want to print. I'm sure the problem with be fixed. Not a huge deal, but that is the only problem I have had so far that I haven't been able to resolve on my own.

Pros: everything is at my finger tips. work orders, schedulded maintenace, inventory all in one program that's easy to navigate.

Cons: app could be a bit better. some of the fetures that are on the destop site are not on the app. also it would be nice to seperate work orders from scheduled maintenance on the dashboard.

Overall: the software helped get rid of alot of paper and organized all my scheduled maintenance along with work orders sent to me by production supervisors.

I have found it to be a useful tool to help keep me on top of maintenance duties

Pros: It is easy to use and people can adapt to it quite quickly. Another plus is it is cloud based so it makes it easy to access from any location.

Cons: There is a learning curve. As you use it more I'm sure it would not be so hard to get what you want from it.

Pros: I like the easy to follow layout, it makes for less time on the computer and more time in the field

Cons: the thing I like the least is that there is no functional app for smart phones, an app would make it easier to record information from the field.

Pros: Good layout of the controls, ease of use. The functionality of the product is great. Setting up an asset is easy and like the ability to attach pictures or manuals

Cons: Would like to see more graphing of reports. Some reports come out in the international sizes making it a bit of a challenge to print on our printers.

Overall: Use of this software over the past 2 years has allowed for us to go through Joint Commission inspections with ease. Inspectors have really liked it.

It is a great help to us especially when it comes to equipment monitoring and maintenance.

Pros: My experience I like most in software is that it's very systematic and detailed especially on our assets. Maintenance rely on the system at the present even minor problem already assess by the team and encoded to the system for future use/traceability. And there are updates we received or inputs from the software for upgrades and improvement for the team.

Cons: Honestly not all features in the system we are using as of the moment, the team focussed only in the maintenance side on the available data in which necessary to our operation. All assets of the company were already encoded in the system and monitored thru the software. There are occasions or times that all our data lost in the system we do not know what's the reasons, maybe once a month since we used the software. But, back in our mind maybe a connection failure or maintenance service in the system because after a day all data's are available, we will experience these during a week before month end in which during our kpi's in the department. This is least like for me.

Overall: I have gained knowledge in terms of proper monitoring of an asset in which my company benefits. Innovation on the system of maintenance it is a big help for us in many terms such, inventory, repairs, life span of equipment, even certificate also monitored in the software. The big impact to us is we lessen the downtimes especially in the operations. And the equipment schedule PMS the system will remind the team for the due and classification of the particular repair to be executed. We are very pleased know a days even we have not perfectly or 100% utilized the features of the software but we appreciate the development in our operations, manpower skills and coordination. For me overall I am very lucky that I am using or my company subscribe this software.

An out of this world Asset Management software which is available at the click of a button.

Pros: Limitless asset maintenance programs can be loaded onto the software.
The auto generated reports give me a piece mind.
The constant updates and its compatibility with modern Technology set it apart.

Cons: Batch work order functionality need to be enhanced for user to have choice on what need to be displayed e.g. Estimated hours
People learn through interactions, FIIX Consultants should organize at least Annual End Users Conference where we could share our experiences with the software.

Overall: Routine maintenance automation, equipment warranty management, Assets register easy accessibility, Statutory maintenance management, everyone in the organization can report defects, Reports are auto generated, Audit log also helps to track every transactions that occurred on the system.

Pros: Video training on the program. internet based, and great training for use on the program. Great for showing reports to auditors and managers..

Cons: Need to be able to develop custom reports other than pulling down into excel. As per a user stand point, easier to enter work order.

Pros: The ease of use and the ability to go back and make changes or add to work orders is a very nice feature .

Cons: The system has a minimum for parts for when to reorder but our purchaser has to guess on how many parts to reorder , I think it would be nice to have a box for how many parts to reorder maybe call it suggested restock .

Cons: Inability to separate stock from other plants in supply search.
Unable to assign work orders to inactive users.
No alert for duplicate entry when building supply database.
Technicians can't click on Technicians dashboard icons to go directly to that option i.e. open work orders
Inability to scroll continuously through supplies list. You have only 100 at a time then go to next page.----THIS IS THE WORST.
We only use one seat for the maintenance techs. There is no place on the work order to put a technicians name when using one seat for "TECHS".

Pros: The application is very intuitive, easy to learn and easy to use.
The application is very fast; creating a work order takes 15 seconds or less. Even when adding documents to a work order, (such as schematics, drawings or guidebooks), the application is fast and works very well in Mobile.
The application is very powerful, and has many features that assists me in the fine tuning of the managing of the Maintenance Department. Equipment, Technicians, vendors, parts, and purchasing management, all can be done easily using Fiix.
The application is very easy to install; there is no set-up time from the standpoint of IT. You pay the fee, you access the software, set up your equipment and techs, and start creating work orders; that easy. I had the program running with the basics and creating work orders the first day I was given access to it.

Cons: It is not free?
Seriously, I do not have any complaints so far, nor have I run into something I cannot do. Time will tell.

Overall: Easy and fast management of the daily tasks of a very busy Maintenance Department.

Fiix is good at what it does.

Pros: It is easy to navigate through the web site and see the features that are available to me. All of our equipment is easy to access and update. The program helps me with my daily duties and responsibilities as well as with incidental activities like checking on certain equipment.

Cons: There are many aspects to the program that i am not familiar with and I don't think I am getting the full benefit from it.

Overall: The software helps with keeping track of the 600+ pieces of equipment that my department manages.

Pros: Simple to use and set up. I like the offsite versus on-site server feature, makes it easy to see whats going on remotely. I find the mobile app extremely useful for my self and the staff.

Cons: Nothing issues with the software so far, just wish I could get more people to use it. It makes my scheduling much easier.

Cons: haven't found anything yet. any changes that would improve how we use the system, FIIX has listened and updated.

Comments: Great support, reactive, but as any CMMS, tough to get up to a place of comfort.

Pros: Ease of use for a wide spread amount of people with all different backgrounds. Ability to customize.

Cons: Lack of serious customization needed for our specific company needs. Should have a standard of a longer integration/onsite implementation.

Pros: Fiix offered various plan options and flexibility, it was free to try (so it was easy to demo to my team), and also offers guest maintenance requests.

Cons: Can be tedious to get started and enter in all assets and PMs, but that comes with any software like this.

Pros: The import utility for this software will get you to a fully functioning facility management system to take work requests and track assets. Very easy to use and lots of valuable data on the completed work done by your department. The preloaded reporting is great. We have been extremely happy with this software.

Cons: The custom report writer will take some time to learn if you're not familiar with it. Being able to attach a file to a guest submitted report would be nice.

Overall: Tracking and reporting on work requests. Asset tracking and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Comments: Very worth your time to look at Fiix. They have the answers that any maintenance manager and tech would want.

Pros: The ease of use of the dashboard was the selling point for us. It's so intuitive to use and the setup is a breeze from any other program I have reviewed and used. I really enjoyed the preview of the demo software and the salesman was right on point for any questions we had. They really put a lot of thought into this software! I am extremely excited to get this rolling out. This software has the potential to become our corporate-wide CMMS software.

Pros: The ability to track and communicate quickly and easily about Work Orders, PM's, and Projects has made this software our go to for all of our daily Maintenance needs.

Cons: Loading in some of our information was difficult because we tracked everything on paper before we switched over to this platform. Once all of the hard entry work was done, we have enjoyed it tremendously.

Pros: This software is super easy to implement. You can easily add assets to the system with the desktop or mobile app, and create and monitor work orders. The software allows you to create custom preventive maintenance schedules with custom task lists to make sure all necessary steps are complete. You can also monitor the quantity and location of spare parts to minimize down time.

Cons: The asset tags are limited to two sizes. We had to custom order sheets of waterproof labels to match the size as there was none available on the market.

Pros: I like the fact that this CMMS is in the cloud and I like that they have a lot of features that I need, but not too much fluff.

Cons: I don't like the fact that its kind of slow, but that could also be my computer which needs to be replaced!

Pros: The most interesting point is that I can set up the system step by step when I have time. It happens that I work for a few hours, or sometimes a full day. It als o possible to set it up and expand as far or as low as needed for the particular company where I work for at that moment

Cons: Sometimes it is difficult for me to upload data as a list with all the assets. This has more to do with the fact that I do not use the software continuously

Overall: I could start immediately with a working system, no need for long preparation / study /

Pros: Being able to track how many times an asset needs repairing
The ability to move assets from site to site
Seeing at a glance how each site is performing with regards to schedule maintenance and breakdowns
Keeping track of costs and parts being being used
Ease of each engineer preparing for task for the week ahead
Being able to run out reports for audits
Proving to auditors that each asset is being maintained in a timely manner
Software is constantly updated
Backup support is proactive and respond within a day every time

Cons: Not being able to change the dashboard colours

Overall: Have not failed an internal or external audit since it was installed.
Breakdowns have gone down since its implementation

So far I like it a lot. I'm still getting used to it. It is very easy to use.

Pros: This is the first software that I have used for inventory management. Fiix seems to have everything you need all working together. It's just easy to use!

Cons: I input a lot on my mobile device and not as much on my computer. It would be nice if I could do more on the mobile device or tablet.

Overall: Better organization, overall operating costs of individual equipment.

Pros: Easy to use and supported at the back end by real accessible knowledgeable staff. The pricing structure is accommodating to the smallest organisation right up to the largest. The import and export features and capabilities makes roll out a breeze.

Cons: The fixed work order numbering sequence with the inability to simply adjust (difficult for startup, not so much a problem after that).

Overall: Efficiency and visibility into daily operations at the technician level.

Pros: Web based and we can use the help if we need to - we get the support that we need without anyone bugging us

Pros: I like the fact that the database is available through the internet making it easy to access the data.

Cons: The app needs some work. And, I would like to be able to override some of the errors I get when trying to add and change things. I'd like to be able to change tools to equipment and back the other way or tools to spare parts and vice versa.

Overall: Able to keep up with the work done on the equipment and facilities I am responsible for. With easy access I can know the status of assigned work in seconds.

Pros: Auto Schedules and the way for creating the work order is very single, also if you have no to much equipment is very complete

Cons: Reports sometimes have to many data, anyway using the filter, and the order's time reported at the calendar show for me a little confuse.

Pros: This software does have a ton of value. It does more than we thought it would right from the start.

Cons: There are many bugs that are being ironed out. There are a lot of clicks to get through work orders and maintain complete, accurate records.

Overall: We were using a very old outdated database software. The biggest benefit is being web based

Pros: Its detailed structure tying all task parts etc together.
The purchase reqs are great and tracking is excellent.

Cons: Trying to delete something like an asset but it has things associated. When I'm sure I want to delete something, would like the option to delete all associated with that item.
But not a huge issue

Overall: We will not miss anything important that we have entered in scheduled services. History of repairs PM and readings, Logging readings for service reminders.

Pros: I inherited Fiix when I assumed the role of Maintenance Supervisor, alot of data had already been entered into the system and I was able to edit it as needed without completely re-entering everything.
The software is a valuable tool for all facets of Maintenance operations: Work requests, Work orders, Scheduled Maintenance, Purchasing, Inventory, and Cost tracking of repairs to equipment.

Cons: Some of the help videos gloss over the subject and do not really answer my question.

18 years in Maintenance and finally a CMMS that is easy to use and user friendly.

Pros: The user end of this CMMS is bar none the easiest I have used and simple to figure out. Having the capability to let anyone submit requests from there phone on the app is a huge plus.

Cons: The android app isn't very friendly, suggest doing main work on PC and using app just to submit request's.

Overall: Control of machine PM's etc.

Mobile device is very efficient

Cons: No volume discount for more users ! if FIIX offer Concurrent user features it will grab more customers.
Not suitable for big organization or anyone who need complex features in CAFM system.

Overall: In NITI when we started our operation , FIIX helps us a lot to start up our CAFM requirements in addition to control our warehouse and manage spare parts consumption .it help us track our assets and tools.

Cons: Importing excell files was difficult resulting in manual input of the asset register. This process was time consuming and could be a time saver if we could import an excell file without mistakes.

Comments: Would recommend Fiix as a CMMS program to small to intermediate businesses

Pros: The benefits of using Fiix as opposed to other options of CMMS programs are that it is Easy to use, comes with a Free demo, and is Competitive pricewise

Cons: Although it has mostly the same features, it Lacks some dynamic features of other, more expensive CMMS programs. (obviously more expensive = more stuff but I didn't know what else to write here)

Comments: I trialed a lot of software and found Fiix to be the best fit for the money for our company. The ease of use and mobile capability made it the perfect fit.

Pros: Ease of use, mobile ability, and growth ability make this perfect for a small business wanting a system to grow with.

Cons: Cloud only so we have to purchase a subscription, would have liked the ability to purchase perpetual licenses and purchase updates/upgrades as needed.

Comments: There are several things about this software that are incredible. First off they were the only company willing to let us try a demo of their program and use their excel templates. They are confident in their product and they should be because it is excellent. Another key selling point for us was that they are very user friendly and provide lots of resources to help anyone figure out how to use their product. The last key point is that their product and the price were perfect for our size. We are not a production facility with lots of equipment, we are a distributions center with 2 mechanics and a moderate amount of equipment. Most companies I talked to just didn't have a product plan to meet a small scale operation.

Pros: -Extremely user friendly -Free trial available before purchase -Easy to import info from Excel -Strong mobile aplication -QR codes for assets are essential -Great price -Very helpful and friendly staff

Cons: -When I created a domain for the trial service I couldn't import everything from that into the actual version when we purchased it.

Pros: The cost cannot be beat. It has the features I need and none of the clutter I don't. Accessibility through the mobile app is a huge plus. Ability for anyone to submit a request is another big pro. Ability to include photos while on property is a win, too.

Cons: I wish additional administrator seats was a more affordable option. I also wish there were more robust options for emailing to vendors, users, etc.

Overall: This gives us a single database in which to record maintenance and inspection points, creating an accountability path that is invaluable.

Pros: The ability to see the needs of our people as soon as the requests are made and the communication stream that is started is very important. For me to be able to immediately prioritize and assign the work to the proper technician is helping our team be more efficient. It used to take a day or two for a work order to make it from the requester to the proper technician and the requester was not always certain he received it. Now the emails are sent as soon as the request is submitted and we can communicate quickly and put everyone at ease.

Cons: Not being able to attach photos in the mobile app is a little disappointing. I thought there was one update that included that feature, but we are still mostly happy with the product.

Pros: The system is very comprehensive and allows a lot of user intervention in loading and producing bespoke reports

Cons: It can be a little daunting for engineers who don't work with computers very much and have problems dealing with the interface whether desktop or mobile

Overall: Full asset registration for a large site including various complexities of use and functionality. Allowing for PPM to be scheduled and make the College fully compliant

Keeps all the records I need to manage this hotel.

Pros: Ease of getting up and running and using the software. Adaptability to set up and customize to your particular business.

Cons: Wish there were samples/screenshots showing how other users set up and customize things to their liking. Share ideas so that in the process of setting up assets (and such) you can then think through the process before committing to a certain path of execution. Maybe even some type of user group.

Overall: Ease of getting up and using the software and getting out work orders. Very reasonably priced which made it easy to sell to upper management as opposed to buying a customized software system.

Proves quality maintenance and material management software does not have to break the budget!

Pros: The ability to run reports quickly, the dash board it very user friendly - seems to be modeled after the cube software, which I like. Easy to navigate, to add files into the the equipment and reference those files later.

Cons: not so much a matter of what I like least but what it doesn't have at all. A war board would be nice, dates and times for ongoing projects and campaigns. Better metrics in reporting. A calendar that is integrated with a war board. The big picture, ie calender with scheduled maint for the year, projects being worked, projects approaching.

Pros: It is easy to add equipment. I like the ability to have different reports to run to help with the determination of a cause.

Cons: It is tough adding parts when you maybe only ordering it once. The PO system is kind of long approval process when you only have 1 or 2 people that look at PO's.

Overall: Ease to show my superiors what gets fixed.

On our 4th year and I am our community get it done guy. It keeps us current on work orders.

Pros: Organization of residents work order request and we never drop the ball. We have tweaked it to set priorities to 3 maintenance people. Easy to research history on each unit and set exterior preventive maintenance which we are working on.

Cons: I haven't figured out my PM at this point but not my highest priority. I haven't been able to set up pm but fiix has sent me the info to do this.

Comments: Very Useful tool to keep work orders and asset in a strata organized. Very user friendly and holds lots of data. Easy to reference repairs done and upcoming items. Would definitely recommend to others to use this software.

Comments: I like the software and planning to upgrade our version to explore the full potential. I would recommend this product.

Pros: I like the Dashboard and also the recently updated calendar-it is way better than before. The video and technical support is available in the website that makes me easy to set up the software.

Cons: I didn't see a feature that allows the Work order to starts its hour when open or scanned . I mean that when I scan or log in in the WO the time should start charging to that work order.

Overall: I started using FIIX about 6 months ago and it has been ver useful and easy to use. We had been keeping track of our PM's on paper and it was getting too complicated. I was looking for an easy to use, inexpensive system that could be accessed anywhere. I found it with FIIX. There app is really good as well. Cost is a no brainer and they have a video on every page and/or action to help explain how to ise it. I love it and my millwrights are really starting to get on board with it

Cons: Cannot export 100% of the inventory information without multiple report.

Overall: For the money, this program has solved several key problems in my organization. The software has a significant amount of potential.

Cons: It is only in English - you can't use Windowsbased mobilphones with Fiix

Overall: We have used the system for a little over 2 years. The system is in English and not a Nordic language and that is an obstacle for us. We would prefer Danish or Norwegian.
After the system has changed name to Fiix, our staff can no longer use their mobile phones, to approve various maintenance, as the mobilephones are based on the windows system. It is a huge setback for us that we are back to using desktop computers, and this we are not happy about. (sorry for my bad English).

Overall: This software has allowed our maintenance team be more efficient, productive and proactive. There is so many great aspects to this, it is hard to list them all. Tracking PM services, repairs and repair cost can help identify equipment that may have outlived its useful life. Do not hesitate to invest in this system

Pros: Most things are linked together very well so you can get from an asset record to a service record to a part record very easily. They incorporate "hyperlinks" very well.
The cloud base works very well. We have multiple copies open at a time and data never seems to get misplaced or corrupted

Cons: Many very simple things like:
Fields in POs and other screens lack the ability to set defaults. Ex: vendor terms
Most columns in lists in various places around the program can be ordered or sorted by clicking on the header of that column yet many cannot. Most of these have no apaerent order either.
Many columns that have a fixed order are the wrong way and are ordered oldest on top instead of newest on top
The purchasing screens do not support package quantities which makes auto re-ordering and inventory control on such items a difficult task

Overall: This is the second software that we've used. It's far from perfect but it works way better than the last one. It is a little querky and has it's bugs but overall it gets the job done.

Recommendations to other buyers: If this is your first experience with a CMMS you will be happy but as time goes by you will find many annoying, time consuming issues as I've mentioned above.

Overall: This tool is essential when it comes to our core business support and we are using it in different areas.

Helpdesk tool helps us connect to our internal customers.

Equipment and buildings data are kept as an information for maintenance personnel and contracted services in order to better plan and execute work orders.

Reminders are set for periodical maintenance and inspection actions that help plan and development of good preventive and prediction maintenance plan.

In addition, we use the application for cost tracking and also budgeting expenses.

Pros: The ease of implementation. It only took a few weeks once we accumulated all of the necessary data.

Cons: The licensing structure. We would like as many people as possible to use the software but we must limit the users due to high cost of user licenses.

Overall: Fiix was very easy to implement and is extremely easy to use. We used the customer support hot line often in the early stages of implementation and found it to be very helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time up front defining your hierarchy of assets. It will make the implementation a bit easier.

Comments: As the individual who set up Fiix for our organization, I feel strongly that Fiix is a well-polished tool that can be applied to a wide variety of scenarios.

We personally use Fiix to automatically generate preventative maintenance (PMs) tickets for our vehicles, based on our mileage meter readings and inspection due dates. This was a very easy process to set up and works very efficiently.

I believe the only feature that our mechanical team feels is lacking is that they wish they could have a dedicated place on both a PM and on an Asset (vehicles in our case) to monitor parts that were used on an individual PM.

While Fiix has a feature to set up inventory, we do not actually carry an on-hand inventory and thus cannot use this feature. As a result, we've resorted to using the Notes sections as a way to track costs and parts used, but we would love an official place on every single PM to enter part names and costs, and have those costs update on a subsequent costs page for the asset.

Despite that, we have been very pleased with Fiix!

The only constructive criticism is the lack of originality and double entendre the new name has. Fiix when pronouncing as written with a silent x and a long I would be "Fee" an unfortunate name at best.

Pros: Ease of use, basic up to elaborate use depending on your needs.

Cons: I will need more time to explore and learn the use of features before commenting on shortcomings.

Overall: Utilizing the maintenance software to designate assets, setup PMs, submit work requests, create work orders, and analyze maintenance encompasses our use. I have found the software most useful to get the repair request information to the right folks. Being able to have work request alerts go to multiple emails advises many of impending repairs.
Features such as the scan code, which works well with smart phones, enables the work orders to be quickly found and the asset verified.
We have not even scratched the surface of the power available in this software!

Recommendations to other buyers: Organize and uniquely identify assets. Execute an equipment bar code system. Create the PM that you can actually perform. Otherwise, you will be overwhelmed and your maintenance plan may collapse. As you receive the benefits of practicing preventive maintenance, the PM list can expand.

Comments: Overall the program is working well for us. The only issue we have experienced is with the bar code readers. The mobile app will not read a "3of9" bar code style and when I hook a bar code reader directly to a computer, it will not read the "QR" style code. This causes us to use 2 different styles of bar codes.

Comments: I use Fiix CMMS Software for Maintenance of Analytical Instrument under Good Laboratory Practice and FDA Regulations. I'm using it to manage instrument inventory, maintenance schedule, repairs and parts. It does the job very well for a very small portion of the price of a specialized Software for Maintenance Management in a laboratory.

Pros: Best Value for money on a 10:1 margin.

Cons: Not the most attractive interface of all the CMMS Software.
