And I recommend it especially if you want to better understand, analyse and forecast the profitability per resources, services offered, projects and tasks. In terms of task management it works smooth and easy, like any other premium task manager. The big differentiation comes in terms of budget tracking, expenses and resources overview. In the past 1.5 years since we use Productive.io it helped us to see some trends in terms of services that are profitable and see which clients / projects are not profitable. This way we managed to improve the overall performance of our business. Cons \- The onboarding / initial setup can take a bit. Nothing too bad, but you might need a couple of days to get used with the UX. Pros I like how Productive has a lot of features and is still pretty simple to use. The logic behind everything works great almost always, and for me it became a tool that I use daily without much thought. I see great value in that. I also appreciate the documentation and the whole team behind. Cons Tasks are maybe still a bit sloppy, but maybe it's just because of the way we use it in the company. I'm not really sure. We used to work out of a variety of systems to try to accomplish what we're able to do within Productive now. It streamlined our day-to-day operations and made reporting way easier. Pros The product is robust yet streamlined at the same time. They simplify the UI to enhance the UX and make it easy for team members to jump right in. The flexibility with budgets has been the best feature for us, as we are able to put all shapes of budgets into the system and track them correctly and effectively across all of our projects. Cons I wish there was some way to create a production schedule within the projects so they could easily be visible at all times. Everything is tracked within this system EXCEPT for production schedules, so I feel most strongly about that element missing. Reason for choosing Productive It was recommended by a colleague at another firm. It feels very modern and easy to use with really powerful features. Also, the product is constantly being improved with an active customer service. Cons It takes some time to really onboard everyone and use it as a day to day tool. But that would probably be the case with every new tool introduced to the organization. As a project manager it offers you a great way to keep an eye on your running projects, upcoming deadlines, internal planning and much, much more. Besides that I must say that the customer service offered by Productive is the best I've experienced in my career so far. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team are simply amazing, doing a great job assisting your every need and are more than happy to jump on a video call to help you out when needed. When asked to help me with a financial overview by using 'Insights' \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] immediately took the liberty to create some overviews to show me what Productive is capable of which helped me out a lot. Cons In all honesty I didn't miss a feature. The team is constantly updating Productive as it is and if you have useful feedback they'll implement this within a few months. It's perfect. From around 50 employees to almost 300 today it has been able to handle and support our growth. Without it, I am sure many operational areas would be harder and spread across multiple systems. Also special praise to the support and customer success team who are extremely responsive to any questions and potential issues. Looking forward to many new features in the future! Cons Maybe the area around customer/company data could be better handled. I see the reason why it was set up in the way it was, but some more form in this area would have actually helped us. The tool is not perfect, but it allows you to provide feedback and ask for things that are necessary for your business to grow. Staff support is 100%! From sales, scheduling projects, communication management, employee management all the way to the reporting. We were paying multiple software apps, which was not only expensive but also confusing and time wasting. With Productive costs were cut down significantly. The support team is very responsive, always available and fast in helping us solve our issues. Cons It takes some time for setting up the organization and getting everybody on board, but with Productive help center and their support team that was done in a jiffy. Also the holy grail is to link time (hours) and money (billings) into one view rather than separating them out - that is apparently in the roadmap but has been for a while! From an owner perspective, it has allowed me to closely monitor profitability, which I had slacked on before. Pros The thing I liked most is the speed and design of the UI/UX alongside the feature set. We have tried most PM tools and this covers all that and more to help us run more efficiently and see the data we need. Cons I would really have to dig to find something I didn't like about the software. Most of the issues fell on me at the beginning with ways I should have been operating my agency before getting on Productive. So really there is nothing that I dislike. Let's say, one project has 5 boards, and when moving tasks from one board to another, I don't know where does it go. It's easy if I'm the owner of the project, but when I'm doing some things in other project, I just don't know where to put it.
