Pros: This software is baked right into your Google ecosystem and is widely used. It's available via web app or you can download a Google App of it to make offline edits. It's clean, clear, and concise and lacks all of the necessary UI you find in competing tabular cell based software. Edits are made live 95% of the time and it is a highly reliable web application provider so connectivity is the last of the issues you will ever face with this tool. Additionally, it is quite easy to get a Google Sheet to other people through multiple means of modern communication and document linking. This is a very rapidly usable tool built very much for highly efficient modern teams. I have yet to need to utilize support although it's a paid per seat licensing model so I'm sure there is support available if needed.

Cons: This tool is not yet capable as a full on replacement for traditional office tools. Formulae are difficult to work with and in many cases not as effective as many that are built into more traditional office tools. There is not enough current integration to use this as a stand alone desktop application and there aren't currently enough built-in file types that can be opened from the desktop.

Traditional management and effective but not-young staff may find adopting to Google's processes difficult. Offices with staff engrained with Microsoft Office knowledge may lose parts of this invaluable knowledge and efficiency if switching entirely to this platform.

Overall: Overall Google Sheets has been an excellent tool to use when considering it as an accompaniment to Microsoft Office. Even as a stand alone tool this is a fantastic addition to any company willing to fork out for user licensing in the full G-Suite platform. I wouldn't recommend this for traditional companies with staff that struggles with modernization and rapid development. I also don't believe G-Suite is necessary for traditional companies to be effective with traditional platforms.

This tool is not absolutely necessary in any company but it is without a doubt an excellent add-on for companies looking to use modern processes to share common tabular-cell data sets more rapidly than you can with traditional platforms.

Pros: Sheets is a great option for spreadsheeting, data management, and analysis. Since it's cloud-based, you need not worry about losing it, forgetting to save, etc. - it's always there in the cloud, constantly saving, and available anytime, anywhere, on any device. Next, it's logically arranged and has a user-friendly interface. Being a part of the G Suite platform (Google Apps), it comes free with your Drive/Gmail account, so there's no need to download any software, purchase anything - it's available free of charge. Sheets has the ability to do the almost every analysis you'll need. Lots of advanced functions and calculations are built into the platform. What I've been most impressed with recently is the "Explore" and insert graph features - it's very intuitive. Sheets does a good job of "guessing" the best way to display chart data into the form of a graph. And even if you don't like the bar, pie, line graph it creates, you can easily change it with just a few clicks. In my opinion, Sheets is the easiest spreadsheeting platform that I've used when it comes to graph creations. Beyond that, the add-ons available through the G Suite Marketplace give Sheets "superpowers." Consider exploring Autocrat, FormMule, Flubaroo, and RowCall just to name a few. Each of these add-ons were created by independent developers and allow the spreadsheet to accomplish even more! An awesome feature!

Cons: I have few complaints really, but some users have complained that Sheets lacks some of the heavy-lifting capabilities of other spreadsheet platforms. I would disagree, and suggest that you just need to explore a bit more and consider using an add-on. There are also hundreds of YouTube videos and posts that explain how to accomplish goals that you may be struggling to achieve. Another limitation with the software is that the amount of Sheets you can produce or data you can store may be limited by the size of you Google Drive account, which will require a monthly payment. I feel that Google's prices are worth it, though.

Overall: Analyzing data, creating charts and brilliant graphs, using add-ons to do even more incredible things from the spreadsheet.

Pros: Easy to use. Super-flexible. Dynamic - move rows and columns by dragging and dropping. No need to cut and paste. None of that "Insert Cut Cells" like with Excel. Of course there is amazing integration with other Google products and third-party apps. Then there is the whole "cloud" aspect, which is life-changing. Once you experience real-time collaboration from anywhere, you really can't go back. Then there are the intelligent graphs it creates from data. Information makes much more sense when represented visually, and Sheets does that instantly and effectively.

Cons: Despite its rapid improvement over the past few years, in some ways Google Sheets is still playing catch-up with Microsoft Excel. For instance, Sheets still provides no easy way for the user to drag and drop large numbers of cells. Try it and you get an awkward exercise in counting, guessing, and hoping that an action does not result in a mess. Then there are the byzantine "scripts" you have to type in to automate cells or get a desired result. I'm not a programmer. And the way in which Sheets makes the user guess whether it even has certain features at all.

There are hundred "little things" like these that need improvement and could bee seen as "bugs." Or maybe Google just doesn't want to be the office standard. But I don't believe that. So yes, Sheets has a way to go, but it's on the right track.

Overall: Overall, I couldn't organize my office, my work, maybe my life, without Google Sheets. It is still far and away the best solution to represent the abstract, then make the abstract concrete and specific, then put data into effect. Frankly, I probably over-use Sheets sometimes - as if it were a database instead of just a spreadsheet. But it's so tempting to put every kind of information into Sheets and let the visuals inform you. I could go on, but you get the point. This is "the" Google product in my office.

Pros: Google Sheets is a fantastic and free software app of G suite. It offers basically the same functionality as Excel Spreadsheets, without the necessity of Microsoft Office. Its design (using the same formula functions and structure as Excel) allows users familiar with Excel to use Sheets with ease. An added benefit is the Google Forums that let users consult other users for support and formula FAQ.

Sheets functions can also extend to additional Sheets on the same Google Drive, allowing users to access and analyze data in other departments without duplicating the information on to separate Sheets.

The potential ubiquity and cost (free) of Sheets is likely its most advantageous element. From large corporations to small businesses, the features of Sheets can be accessed by anyone with a Gmail account, and is not limited by added costs or extra purchases.

Cons: With the frequent updates and the availability of support from both Google and other users, it's difficult to find notable faults with Google Sheets. The addition of being able to live chat with support in real time would be beneficial for issues that require time-sensitive assistance, but overall, Sheets' support options are well structured and helpful.

Overall: As a whole, Sheets is helpful for various business functions from budgets and inventory, to organization of lists, SKUs, and entire databases of data. Along with the other applications of G Suite, Sheets is a time saver and easy to use.

Even for the common person with a regular Gmail account, the use of Sheets to organize financial information, plan events, or prioritize tasks is incredibly helpful.

Pros: Google sheets is one of the powerful application that allows me to create, edit and share spreadsheets online. I have been using this app since it was lunched. The most interesting thing I can log in with my Gmail account and it keeps backup of my files. The most interesting feature of Google sheets is when we do work it saves our work automatically, that saves time and makes us tension free about losing data.

Secondly I would like to say its templates are really helpful and makes much easy ways of doing work. Templates saves our time which we have to spend on formatting and creating the design. If I talk about the work benefits of this application they are uncountable and fantastic.

Cons: As far as I am concerned with this application it is full of features and gives us easy ways of working on it. I do not think so that there could be any bad thing happening while working. Well It works perfectly by providing us fantasist services. It is a full of featured application that works outstandingly and never lets us face any kind of big issue I do say I have to face sometimes technical errors but they does not go against this application because they work on their product and never lets the user have any kind of problem.

Overall: As I have highlighted the business benefits in pros also. It saves much important time of user and gives effective features with the ease of use. I prefer Google sheets then using Excel on many phases.

Pros: I like ease of using this software. I am a mystery shopper and most of my assignments require lists that use this format. On any assignment, I may have around 2000 grocery items to locate and update. I find it easy to select cells to enter their UPC codes , ounces, or general data, multiplying or adding formulas are easy. I am thankful I recently had a computer programs refresher course last semester that taught how to edit spreadsheets. You can also sync your progress so you won't lose progress. This is a BIG plus to me! You don't know how many times I was using Microsoft Excel and my tablet died and my information was lost because it didn't sync! I had to return to the location and start back over and write the prices down during and after the tablet died again. Google sheets sync without me having to save anything. It even allows me to work offline, which is fantastic. Every edit/change is automatically updated and saved. I don't have to be connected to the internet and it still sync my sheets. I love Google sheets.

I also use it for receipts and inventory for my online Clothing Boutique "Beauty Dior Divas". The color formats are great, I like the choice of change. I used sheets to analyze and graph my sales monthly. I help my mom with her business, I set up here monthly sales and chart her losses and gains to compare to the same month but previous year. I love the ease of sharing your sheets by email. My scheduler can edit the forms, if necessary.

Cons: None, I have no problems with Google sheets.

Overall: Google Sheets have helped me out when Microsoft Excel let me down. I had a school account for MS Suites. On one of my assignments, all of my data was lost when my tablet died. After that I found Google sheets ony Chrome book, it worked with or without the internet. I syned all the time after every edit. It works great with my invoices and school assignments. I can insert charts, format cells, find and replace data, save to my SD card or my device, attach to emails and edit Excel files to save on my device. This software I'd very useful.

Pros: I love being able to work on a project with another teammember simultaneously. This helps increase productivity and cut down on back and forth communications. Its nice to be able to discuss on a project on the phone and look through a sheet together even when video call with screen sharing is not available. I've found google sheets most helpful for tracking data on monthly events and being able to review the year on the whole.

Google sheets makes working across Mac/Windows computers much easier. Its nice to not have to worry about being able to see/access a sheet due to the other party not having and updated platform for Excel.

Cons: I caution working on google sheets together without having an agreed upon method for data management. Simple rules like 'only numbers OR only letters' in a single cell can be a good starting point. Frustrations can really rise if there is misunderstanding on general sheet management. You may find yourself documenting the same thing just on different sheets within the same sheet if you don't start with some basic rules.

Like google docs is similar but not the same as Word, so is google sheets to Excel. There are limitations to the functions in google sheets but it is an excellent starting point.

Biggest downside on the whole is being tied to an internet connection to be able to access information.

Overall: Positive but often abused. I find myself in constant reminder to my team to have conversations about the direction we want to take in creating a doc/sheet before embarking. Working in today's generation it is often easy to slip into majority type or text for communication and forgetting the importance of verbal conversation. Often it can take longer for both parties to brainstorm, type, review, share, read, digest, type, review, respond, and so on and so forth.

Pros: It is so handy to have access to my sheets anytime I need them and have access to the internet. It's great that this is integrated with GSuite and can transfer over to Excel (for the most part) as well. It's extremely handy to be able to give access to a particular sheet to virtually anybody and quite handy to be able to place restrictions on certain shared users to not be able to modify a certain area/cell, etc. It has most of the same functionality that you'd find in Excel, with a few modifications. That factor makes it clean and simple to use for less complicated tasks.

Cons: It's deceiving in that it works so closely to Excel, but it doesn't have near as much of the capability as it's counterpart. You could be creating a rather complicated workbook needing to reference various sheets while utilizing intricate functions and then realize that it won't do what you need it to. This is in part because a lot of the functions are the same/altered. Not a problem because this isn't Excel, but it just takes a bit to get used to the differences and then remember them when you switch between the two quite frequently. It also limits the amount of data you can store on it to whatever is available in your Drive. Again, shouldn't be a problem unless you plan on storing a vast amount of data in one place that could build up rather quickly.

Overall: If I were to compare Excel and Google Sheets to horses, I would say Excel is more of a workhorse, capable of moving mass bits of information while Sheets would be more of your racehorse, best used for quick bits of information that you need to get to your team instantaneously. Both are necessary, just function a little different. If you stay within the bounds, Sheets is fantastic.

Pros: Many know and make use of the Office tool called Excel. However, to make use of it you must pay a significant amount of money to have it at your computer's hands, although today there is the application to be downloaded in the different intelligent electronic equipment.

However, Google has found a way to make this tool simpler with "Google Sheets". Wherever you are, at any time, and at any time, this platform gives you the possibility of having it on hand, without having to download absolutely anything, nothing more than to enter the web, and you will have your spreadsheet immediately. The functions that it has, obviously, are very similar to those of Excel. Although it is not innovative, it is more than correct that it has a resemblance to the office, since all users of any generation will feel familiar with the program.

But Google Sheets goes further. When doing your accounting, this tool gives you the possibility of having an integrated chat where users who are connected to the spreadsheet can talk ... Simultaneously!

In addition, you can leave notes in the cells, such as Excel, but the best thing is that if someone adds information to the annotations or solves them, you will receive a notification to your email.

Now, what makes Google Sheets a great difference to Excel is the so-called "ImportXML". This is a function that will allow you to open a Web page and extract any information from it.

Therefore, this is a worthwhile tool, above all, it is free. You only have to hav

Cons: The only big drawback of this format is information storage. You could say that this tool is better to use at the moment, and not for large projects. If an error occurs with the system or with the device you use, you may lose your information. Keep in mind that you are not using installed software, but a virtual platform that gives you the possibility of having a spreadsheet. It is probably the only deficiency that has, and although it is not Excel, it can not be compared as something better.

Pros: Google sheets is free, easy to use and with google drive I can use it across all my tech phone, computer and iPad! It is similar enough to Microsoft Excel that the learning curve is small. One of the best things is how easy it is to use paired with Google Drive. I can up date sheets on my phone, computer or iPad and the change is universal. If I am at the doc office with time to spare. I can write a program on my phone. Then go to gym and access it on my computer to display on big screen or make modifications via my iPad or computer. I can update a sheet and allow my partner to see changes and he can make adjustments to the sheet if necessary.

I am an athletic performance coach and personal trainer. I use it write my workouts, keep up with athletes assessments and measurements. Use formulas to calculate stats, BMR, calories, etc. it has become a crucial part of how I run my personal business.

Cons: There are a few nuances that are not intuitively obvious compared to using Excel. I had trouble freezing 2 columns etc the way I would in excel. The minor inconveniences are small compared to the great savings and the flow between google software products that make this software a tool that I would not want to give up!

Overall: This allows me to increase productivity for the business. I can work from anywhere I have a spare moment. Updating spreadsheets on the go. If I can't make it to the gym, I can update a workout in the spread sheet on my phone which my partner can immediately access at the gym from the iPad and display on monitor for athletes arriving thanks to sheets paired with google drive.

We are a small operation and any additional cost, however small, is a big deal. Even if I had the resources, I can not see paying for Excel when Sheets meet and exceed my expectations! Again learning curve is small and intuitively obvious especially if you are a user of Excel

Pros: Our company has offices in various places around the country, and we have client-facing reps in multiple offices, so being able to share client information and notes easily is something that we've been working to perfect. Sure, there are project management software solutions, but finding a place to keep a running list of clients and relevant notes has been a work in progress. Google Sheets finally seems to have become the Gold Standard for us. We have so many spreadsheets, and while it can sometimes feel overwhelming the number of Sheets we have shared in our company, it's working for us. Each team has their own, teams have shared Sheets, we create them for fires we need to put out, and more. The fact that they are living documents allow us to see in real-time where we are with various clients, leave notes for each other, see what's coming up, and more.

One of my personal favorite features is that I can tag a coworker into a document if I have a question about something. Similar to Twitter or Facebook, a simple @ and their name alerts them to my comment, so they know they have an action item in a certain Sheet. It's really streamlined some of our processes, and in one case, even eliminated a meeting because we can now simply keep a Sheet updated and everyone just knows to check in regularly.

Cons: There are just a few things that are off compared to Excel, and I'm a Microsoft gal by nature, so there has been a little bit of a learning curve. Other than that, it's simple, straightforward, and gets the job done.

Pros: - Very easy to use.

- No licence fees required to use this spreadsheet

- Auto save for person's important data, so no need to remember for saving of data.

- All the formulas of mathematics can be used very easily.

- Pivot table and pivot chart can be prepared in easy manner.

- V lookup and H lookup is possible very easy and convenient manner.

- It is cloud based so that person can use her/his data from every corner of world, by just sing in with her/his gmail id

- Person can access this spreadsheet from any computer whereas other spreadsheet software required her/his own computer to access data already prepared.

- Large number of sheets can be prepared under one parent spreadsheet.

- If person is using google drive for any specific folder for her/his computer, then all the excel files automatically gets converted to google sheet when s/he access her/his google drive.

- Very easy and simple as offline excel.

Cons: well it is very few and difficult to identify but still there are few

- Some functions are difficult to use compare to excel

- One function of excel which is format printer, till time I am not able find the same in google sheets

- For generating raw wise series of serial nos. for example 1...100 , in excel person just need to take cursor on bottom right hand side of cell and s/he can drag with mouse and then press button of fill series. In google sheet this simple process becomes difficult.

- As the data remains on cloud privacy of data becomes the main issue, and due to this reason only few people use this kind of software.

- Like google drive google sheets also become redundant if there is problem of internet connectivity.

Overall: Easiness of access of my spreadsheet data. And very importantly anywhere access of my important data.

Pros: This is an excellent replacement for Microsoft Excel (for most users, see notes in my "Cons" list for more info): For almost everything I need, Google Sheets replaces Microsoft Excel and more (meaning that it adds features beyond what Excel can accomplish).

Collaboration is key: Real time collaboration is excellent in this software. My current most common use case is doing research with a real time collaborator. Both of us type into the same spreadsheet at the same time as we talk about our research subject and fill out different parts of the spreadsheet. We then leave multiple comments for our research assistant who follows through by replying back to comments, filling in more data, and leaving comments back as questions arise.

Ease of use: Maybe this is more the GUI, but I feel Google Sheets is easier to use than Microsoft Excel, although both are very similar. Google keeps the option menus concise, with keeping the most used features easily accessible.

Cons: Depending on your size of spreadsheet, Google Sheets may move slowly. This started for me when I reached about 9,000 rows in one tab of one spreadsheet with multiple formulas and conditional formatting settings that are constantly running. For me, this is completely understandable being a web-based spreadsheet, and the ease of collaborating with a research assistant outweighs the spreadsheet slowing down. I am now over 13,000 rows of data and 47 columns (which is well over half of one million data points on a single page), and I still believe the collaborative functions outweigh the spreadsheet slowing down.

For most users, not being a copy of Excel is fine and won't go unnoticed. For advanced users do some serious testing before completely switching over to make sure what you need is available. Check the forums (which are very active) for answers to questions too.

Overall: The most important benefits are collaboration, ease of use, and packed features. Google is also excellent at updating features and having a very active forum answering questions that come up.

Pros: I use google sheets quite heavily, in fact I would say that Gsuite @/User/Month accounts for half of our software solutions I use for the company. At 1/17th the cost of the other half of our software solutions. Sheets is so much more than a spreadsheet software. The instant collaboration and sharing /security /publishing features turn a static spreadsheet into a vibrant work space, that with some basic understanding of functions like indirect and vlookup can auto populate information across multiple tabs to be filtered and served to different formats as applicable to their usage. When you couple this with the power of Google Forms to gather the data initially, you can create custom work flows that can power your business processes. In turn using google app scripts to link the sheet to Google Fusion Tables offer real time updates to HTML customized data "cards" which may be published with specific security allowances and embedded or reached via a URL. I use a google form to deliver real time production information to our users in a dashboard format. This same data is delivered in spreadsheet format to ensure that all production is delivered to the client. Additionally a separate uses a queried import range function filters that same data so we can make a confirmation call the day before an appointment. To recap: one sheet powers: dashboard, production delivery, and appointment confirmation... across 3 different interfaces.

Cons: There are only a few things that come to mind when considering shortfalls. One major thing for me is the inability for a user that has the ability to edit a column or range (but not the full sheet) to use a filter on that column. I have solved this issue by creating separate sheets and using import range (so native data cannot be harmed) and allowing users that I would like to allow to filter to have editing access to that entire sheet. They can then apply filters to display the data that has been imported. However, they have to frequently update/reapply these filters as they do not update dynamically as the native data is added or changed.

Overall: I have eliminated the need for two full time positions as I have virtually automated their data entry functions with interconnected sheets and data import functions.

Pros: It has most of the features of Excel, but you can more easily use it and collaborate with others. Sounds weird, but my boss has been stuck in the 1970s and was recording all customer orders (10-25 per day) on paper. The problem was, we never knew who had "the book" to record orders. I suggested creating a Google Sheet for this, and he actually went for it! Now all our sales team can easily fill in orders and record what products need to be restocked. It's not exactly the best system, but it's a huge improvement from where we were.

I also appreciate the ease of use when it comes to adding JavaScript. I was able to put in a little JS that pops you to the first empty left cell when you open the Sheet so you don't have to scroll and select it. Sounds small, but after a few years of using a sheet, that would be thousands of orders to scroll through. I also was able to use JS to automatically create a backup of our Sheet every evening after we close and deposit it into a folder on my Google Drive.

If you have questions about "how to __________ in Google Sheets," Google is your friend. It has provided excellent documentation to solve issues and answer questions about its functionality.

Cons: I wish there were an easy way to set the width of columns to be equal. I like a uniform look, just a preference, but you can't do that easily with Google Sheets. The JavaScript I wrote to pop you to the first empty left cell also takes 15-20 seconds to take effect, even though the code is as efficient as it could be, and there are only a few dozen rows in one of our Sheets. Not sure why it takes so long. Oh well, though.

That's probably about it. I'm not using it for any complex accounting, so I can't speak to that.

Overall: Simplified workflow with keeping track of items we need to order--our entire sales team is able to edit the Sheet at once, which really helps.

Pros: Google sheet was and is a game changer for working together simultaneously. Back in the day, group projects required one person to make his edits and save an excel file, only to email it to another person. and so on. With Google Sheets, everyone can work together simultaneously, see who made what edits, and get projects done significantly faster. If you need multiple people working on things at the same time, google sheet is the way to go.

This software is also great for those who do not have Microsoft excel on their computers. It provides a free "excel" for users who do not have it on their personal computers. It pretty much does everything excel can do, such as formulas, calculations, and etc.

Google sheets is also perfect for sign ups to organize certain events or potlucks. You simply generate a link to your google sheet and email it out to those in your community so that they can access it with a simple click and sign up. I've used it to get people to sign up for potlucks, for splitting and sharing expenses with friends for traveling, and for getting people to sign up for donations.

Google sheets can also be used to send out "save the dates" for mailing addresses. For my wedding, I sent out a google form asking name and address, which automatically transmitted into my google sheets. From there, I pasted it into an excel, mail merged it, and printed mailing labels to all my guests. Super simple.

Cons: While it is like excel and can do many things that excel can do, it is still at best inferior to the actual excel program if you need to do complex things. For example, I am unsure if you can directly use it to do mail merges, or to formulate more complex graphs, and the like. However, for the heavily majority of average users, Google sheet is a dream come true.

Overall: Love it.

Pros: It has all the options and functionality of other spreadsheet programs but is completely free to use as long as you have a Google Account. In this same topic, it actually saves your files to your Google Drive, so you can work on them on different computers or smartphones as long as you have internet and can get them from the cloud.

It has all the essential functions for basic data calculations and work, as well as all the tools for filtering, organization, and accesibility provided by other spreadsheet programs. It also gives the user templates for varied purposes, such as to-do lists, budgets, schedules, calendars, financial statements, and many more! If you need a fast and stylish template to get your finances or schedules in order, this program is excellent for that.

Another advantage is that you can share files with other people through Drive functionalities, which lets them access and modify said spreadsheets easily. It also lets you save the files in formats that can be used in other programs, such as .xlsx, .odf and .pdf, which means people who do not have the app can also access the files through other programs.

Cons: There can be some formatting issues when using the files created in Sheets on other programs, which requires the user to be attentive when saving it as another format. It can also be confusing with the auto-save feature, since it means sometimes the changes you apply will be saved automatically and it can be hard to revert them. This happens especially if you are used to using the "Save as..." option from other programs. However this should only be a problem if one doesn't pay close enough attention.

Overall: It has been a great tool for keeping lists, schedules, budgets, and other organization-related documents. I love the fact that everything gets saved and stored in Google Drive, since I don't fear losing the files if anything should happen to copies stored in my computer. This also lets me share files easily with co-workers, which speeds up communication and decision-making.

Pros: 1) Application allows simultaneous working feature where we edit and modify simultaneously by 7 member team. It saves a lot of time and rework as all changes are instantly reflected.

2) Provides inter worksheet support where changes made in one sheet will modify all dependent sheets in real time.

3) Allows file to download in various formats.

4) Sharing feature is also good where we can share our sheet to other users while keeping control on the view only or edit rights.

5) Work seamlessly even on low speed internet connection.

6) Storage capacity is quite sufficient, saves almost 28 sheets.

Cons: Mostly my experience with google sheet is always great but there are few issues we faced.

1) Storage capacity should be increased as it stops creating new sheets after 30 which probably fall short in coming days.

2) It faces some problem when saving data through a VPN connection as in offices we generally have client VPN installed and sometimes even after getting message "All changes made have been saved", sometimes it does not save and also does not throw any error. So we need to cross check it always.

3) Formatting tool feels laggy and need more features like formatting whole worksheet at once.

Overall: Google sheets saves effort, time and rework. Its simultaneously real time support is very good feature where all of us work together on the same sheet and we make changes and it reflects instantly. At the end we do not need to merge our work to one sheet and thus it is really benefiting the business indirectly.

Pros: Google sheets is the platform where we can do many things in very short time. It has been an advance invention for us. The most important things I like about this application is the way it manages and organizes our data and gives us easy ways of having a perfect command. To create a spreadsheet is very simple and easy with highly developed features. I love the method of editing and formatting it provides. Google sheets is a frequently used application because of its being a useful product. If I talk over the templates they are like a gift and let us do our work in very short time. The best advantage of this application is here that we can use it anywhere and anytime. No limitations occur here. So keep it up for bringing more interesting features and functions.

Cons: To write about the least thing is a bit difficult because Google sheets is on the right directions. If I talk about the improvements I would say it's team is really excellent at developing this application they always keep it on right track and resolve all of the issues immediately that is the sign of the best quality product. Honestly speaking there is nothing bad that I should write here, even in the last I will say it is a powerful application of powerful company.

Overall: Overall experience of using this application is not bad. It is a product that allows us to create, edit and share a high volume of data in such a beautiful organized way. So, I can say that there are much benefits here for every user of Google sheets.

Pros: Just a short story of how I started using Google Sheets... First, it was for my personal needs of tracking my roulette progress. There were some simple formulas (addition, multiply etc.), few conditional formatting styles (when it's red on a wheel, I wanted my cell with i.e. #23 to be filled in red etc.). Then I started making some sheets in my company for tracking progress of post-production of some media material (photos, videos etc.), changing statuses of publishing process of some listings and putting it all in some more advanced statistical data, and all of those required improving my Google Sheet skills. To sum it all up, again for the sake of statistical inquiries, I made another spreadsheet tracking all of our business (revenues for our services, salaries of our employees, daily/monthly/yearly statistics based on various criteria. All of these, made everyday work so much easier. And then...

I started optimizing those entire spreadsheets so they load and work faster as there were lots of formulas created in the process...

I learned a lot on Google Products Forum as people out there are really willing to help, and now even I started to answer to some of the questions to return for all the help I got.

Mobile application is also working really nice.

Cons: I couldn't think of any deal-breaking negative side of using this application. Team seems to really be adding new features on a regular basis, and the bugs are being squashed at equally timed manner :-)

Overall: Better productivity for daily tasks. Not having to manually calculate various (and long) inputs in our table.

Pros: This zero cost platform integrates relatively well to other spreadsheet programs such as the common excel. Perhaps the most important feature is its availability to multiple users anywhere with a web connection. A true benefit over An office storage drive is that you and your team have access to this anywhere from any device. Just like most of the other Google platform programs, it offers availability while you're in the office, on the plane, or anywhere you have internet. It offers the availability for multiple users to collaborate on a single project and access files that everyone might use. Most of the formulas will transfer from spreadsheet to spreadsheet program with little adjustment.

Cons: One frustrating feature or lack of feature with Google sheets is it's inability to formulate cells from different programs. You may work on a sheet and store it only to open it in excel on a different device and find that some of the advanced formulas didn't transfer or some of the columns don't match. This has only been a minor issue for our team and most have been simple to correct. It just requires you to double check it periodically.

Overall: Multiple members of the team input data into the sheet for their assigned task, as their different deadlines come. This has proven benificial to the entire team as real data is often updated and current. Our benifit has been not having to remote in to a server to add data when away from the office. You simply log into your google account.

Pros: I use Google Sheets in literally every aspect of my life. Not only has it fully replaced Microsoft Excel for me in terms of work-related spreadsheets + data entry (I work in event management and planning), but I use it to plan all of my personal to-do lists, trips, etc. Features that I haven't been able to find in any other piece of software include:

- Ability to collaborate with others and share in real-time (vs. DropBox or OneDrive which are not easy for multiple people to work out of at once)

- Lightning fast

- Offline work mode

- Easy and intuitive to use (as opposed to Excel, which often requires a Google search to accomplish a new task)

- Easily view + revert to different version histories

- Integrates seamlessly with all of the other Google products I use

Cons: For someone whose job isn't data-analysis heavy, there are no real downsides to Google Sheets. My coworkers and myself use it to collaboratively manage all aspects of our day-to-day without complaint. I can see how it can't replace Excel for those who require more intense analytical / processing abilities (doesn't seem to be the design focus) but I've never run into a personal situation it couldn't handle.

Overall: I use Google Sheets to collect, manage, and organize data across my different work teams. The ability to share information in real time is invaluable, and even allows us to bypass more expensive industry-specific database software because of the systems we are able to create internally.

Pros: I love how accessible this is and how easily I can put together a spreadsheet. I run my business finances and client tracking through Google Sheets, as well as my personal finances, health tracking and trip planning.

It's super easy to collaborate with people on spreadsheets. I use this with clients as well as with friends and family.

It's accessible from anywhere with internet -- I use it often on my phone if needed.

It has basic Excel functionality which works most of the time for me.

Cons: This is much more limited in functionality than Microsoft Excel. I can't do nearly the same analysis or have the same level of ease with shortcuts and formatting as I did with Excel. I feel totally limited in what I can do to get a more in depth analysis on my business.

The mobile version on Apple is not great. It takes time to load and is clunky when I try to fill in cells or change formatting. It works if I'm adding a simple number to a cell. Otherwise I usually get frustrated and wait until I'm back at a computer.

Overall: I use Google Sheets to track my companies P&L, client list, important documents related to routine processes, financial analyses, etc. I also use it in my personal life to track finances, trip plans with friends with shared expenses, wish lists, etc.

Overall, I feel incredibly grateful to have a tool like this. I just wish it would become a little less clunky and more fun to use overtime. I would do a lot more with it as it relates to analyzing my business.

Pros: Google Sheets is Google's version of Excel. There really isn't much of a learning curve if you are coming from Excel.

One complaint I hear most often is that Google Sheets isn't 'as powerful' as Excel (in regards to formulas, functions, etc.)

If you know where to look, and if you read the FAQs, you will find that Sheets is very powerful. You need to know where to look. It is very streamlined and uncluttered, which the average user will love. For 95% of the stuff I do in a spreadsheet, I DO NOT need super-advanced functions. (Come on, if you need really advanced stuff, you are already trained for it, or use a full-blown database.)

I like how simple and streamlined Sheets is, but it IS powerful, just like Excel!!

Cons: Unless you really try hard to seek out answers, it is NOT obvious how some of the higher-level functions work (especially if you're used to Excel).

However, to be fair, there is a good "Explore" button, which automatically spits out a whole bunch of information: Averages, comparisons, charts, graphs, etc. It's basically the Google search engine built into a spreadsheet.

The problem is, though, when you have a user who has used Microsoft Excel for 20 years, they will be resistant to anything that looks new. They'll probably call it a poor substitute for Excel, and claim it isn't powerful enough. So, your IT department will need to learn Sheets ahead of implementation, and make sure users know how powerful it is (many times, it's as simple as knowing which menu to use, when looking for a particular feature!)

Overall: Easier to use in 95% of the use cases (easier than Excel). Integrates with all other G Suite apps. Has pretty powerful data insights that automatically spit out some useful results, as long as you've entered in enough data.

Free? Yes. Excel? No.

Pros: Seems to be secure. I have used sheets for a wide variety of applications and if you don't ask too much of it, Sheets will be a very useful basic spreadsheet and organizer for you.

Cons: Any sheet you have that uses 20 or more tabs takes up to 45 seconds for the page to be usable, as it loads all the elements of EVERY tab. Perhaps it could just load the page/tab you ask for and load the rest in the background. This doesn't happen just once, it happens every time you open a different tab in your browser and work in that other tab for a few minutes. When you come back to sheets, it will behave as if you'd never been there.

I'm not sure if this is Google or Firefox who's to blame, but right click functionality for CUT/COPY/PASTE is not there when using Firefox. Those who use right clicking in their workflow will be constantly slowed down by the reminder pop-up and then needing to go to the keyboard to CTRL-C etc...

Overall: I manage the websites for many clients, and keep data I need to run them in Sheets. I know that Sheets offers a macro language, but Google seems to have zero interest in promoting it or offering true educational resources written by a non-coder . I have seen their "help files" and they all seem to assume the user has a degree in computer science. For small projects and spreadsheets that do basic housekeeping, like tabulating totals found on various tabs in a worksheet, it is fine. The lack of a Macro Recorder in 2018 is unfortunate, and surprising given their resources... I

Pros: Google Sheets is perfect for basic spreadsheets but if you dig off the top layer you can find that Google Sheets is actually quite robust. My favorite part about Google Sheets is that I can write my own functions using JavaScript (or pretty close anyway) to do more complex operations in my spreadsheets. Everyone always says "here use my template for XYZ" and all I can reply with is, ok but did you write your own application for the back-end of the spreadsheet? No? Then you're not using Google Sheets to the height of it's abilities. To top it all off, you can easily load up Google Sheets on your mobile, tablet, or desktop devices in a browser of your choosing or native app and take your spreadsheets with you anywhere you go.

Cons: Some of the things that are lacking in Google Sheets are the ease of adjusting formatting which can sometimes be a little clunky. Inserting links to locations within the spreadsheet was a little buggy for me the last time I used it with the pop-up window displaying off the page. Otherwise, depending on what your spreadsheet is and the device you're loading it on, Google Sheets can sometimes be slightly laggy on the initial load as well.

Overall: Overall Google Sheets is absolutely my go-to spreadsheet software and it really goes above and beyond especially for being free to use for anyone with an account, just outstanding.

Pros: Most of us started out using Excel and were pretty happy about it. My company had Office loaded on all our machines so it was sort of automatic. Now that I'm a Digital Nomad and I freelance, I don't have Office handed to me anymore. Therefore, as I deal primarily in finance, I decided to give Google Sheets a try. Best decision ever!

Sheets has a number of advantages over Excel. First and foremost is the cost. Sheets doesn't cost anything. Ever. Office is less expensive than back in the day but it still costs money. I'm in finance and I can tell you, there is NOTHING Sheets doesn't offer that Excel does that keeps me from handling my business. Nothing at all.

I work with a lot of foreign clients and I utilize Google Translate all the time. One of the coolest features of Sheets is how well it plays with others. Particularly Google Services and Apps. It's really easy to pull data and manipulate it within Sheets. Formatting is simple and doesn't take forever. It happens right away.

Finally, I like the way Google Sheets functions as a recorder of edits. You're able to see edits made by users easily. It even date-stamps them. Sheet owners can choose to go back to a former version or accept changes as they are.

Cons: Nothing. I've been using sheets for a year now and there isn't a thing I have a problem with.

Overall: Sheets allows me to create complex financial reports, translate them for international clients and collaborate seamlessly.

Pros: If you have been working with Excel all this time, you will not find it hard to use Google sheets since it is basically the same, everything Google added is an improvement that makes the job easier, plus you will be able to backup your information online.

The best feature is its responsivness and adaptaivility through devices. You can create the main sheet on your computer, and simply keep it uptaded anytime you need from your mobile phone.

It detects patterns, which allows you to easily fill cells with same type of information (for example, if one column is meant to only be filled up with dates, it automatically will show a calendar when placed on a cell from that column). It makes really easy and fluid to create databases.

There are many ways of modify a function to adapt it to your needs.

Cons: The thing that I don't like is how some format options are hidden, so you need to look for them in the menus which makes everything slower.

For a begginer is hard to start using functions since there is no where to find the basic ones, unless you look for one specific on a search engine. It would be helpful to have easy access to a basic functions lists from the app.

In the mobile app, is hard to navigate on large spreadsheets without ending up selecting and modifying a wrong cell.

Overall: After trying a lot of apps, Google sheets has been the best way to keep track of my finances since it allows me to use it through any device and create and improve a database adapted to my needs .

At my work, it allows us to track the work progress and, through links to any other Google Drive document, we instantly share our results with any team member with access to the spreadsheet.

Pros: Like GoogleDocs, the collaboration and ease of use is excellent. You can create a spreadsheet and have fairly advanced functionality that you can share amongst your colleagues with ease. The UI and ease of use is excellent and for many functions will handle the job quite well.

Cons: We found that we still need Microsoft excel because of the inability to do tables natively. While you can format a table in Sheets, it doesn't behave the same way an Excel table will behave where the rows auto expand as you continue to enter data. This means you cannot easily have columns that continue to compute formulas as you enter new data and so I find myself having to place the formulas way down at the bottom of the page to make this work. I've been hesitant to use add-ons in sheets because I don't know if everyone else that I collaborate with would need to install the same add-ons as well. For now, we use sheets where we can and have updated several excel documents into drive that we edit using excel.

Overall: Again, Sheets is really darn close to excel so we are able to use sheets, collaborate at an amazing level and we're spared the expensive licensing cost of excel. Of course in office365 the licensing costs are made far more reasonable but we still have licensed copies of excel that are not associated with Office 365. The functionality that we get from excel is available, vLookups, and formatting based on cell data.

Pros: * Ease of accessibility. All Google Sheets are automatically saved on Google Drive and can be shared with anyone and anytime. This eliminates the hassle of sending a file back and forth via email.

* All changes to the sheet are trackable. When the sheet is opened, you will always have the option to look at changes that were made by your coworkers. This makes it easy to track your group's progress.

* The "comments" option is very useful. You will always have the option to leave comments throughout the Sheet. This helps to keep everything organized because the comments are contained within the same platform as the sheet itself.

* Gmail pairing. You will have the option to pair your Google Sheet with your Gmail account. This enables notifications. For example, you can have an email sent to you anytime someone edits the Google Sheet, leaves a comment on the Sheet, resolves a comment, etc.

Cons: * Not as powerful as Excel. If you have every worked with Microsoft Excel, you will quickly realize that Google Sheets is no where as powerful as Excel. If you are looking to use complicated formulas or Macros, Excel is the better option for you. However, if you plan on keeping things simple or would just like a Sheet for organization, Google Sheets is a great option for you.

* Difficult to navigate. Again, if you have ever worked with Excel, you are probably very familiar with the command bar and all of the buttons. Google Sheets is not set up the same way as Excel, so it requires some getting used to. If you do purchase this software, plan on spending some time familiarizing yourself with the control panel and all of the buttons.

Overall: Google Sheets has been very helpful to me as a college student. I use it for group projects because it is shareable, easy to organize, and it has the option for leaving comments that your group members will see.

If I have more complex assignments that require some kind of spreadsheet, I will generally use Excel because I am very familiar with it and it allows me to use complicated formulas and Macros.

Pros: The strength in the software is the share ability. The simultaneous saving with every new update (given that you're online) is what makes this software stand out from other spreadsheets. Not having to update a new version or email out the update to your colleague/friends is a headache that is not missed. Instead, sharing is simple, and once shared, the other users can provide edits as well. I like that you can choose the level of input that you want from someone else, meaning that you can restrict their access to just "View". Sometimes you don't want everyone who sees it to be able to add inputs as well, right? The functionality of the app also is enough to get the job done. And with anything Google, the help forums are extensive and easy to find, so any questions you might have are literally a "Google" away.

Cons: Because the ability to share is the app's strength, when this is lacking, it is no longer anything special. You can't edit when you're offline, as nothing will be saved, unless you separately export the changes. For this case, Excel would probably be a better bet and is more functional and familiar. However, if your Internet connection is strong, Google Sheets will be enough for most of your needs. Even if you don't need other users' inputs, you might in the future, and having the project already a part of your Google suite of resources could make for easy changes in the future.

Overall: I mostly use Google Sheets in a student setting for group projects (as an accounting major), and as an individual for personal budgeting/financial planning needs. It was a lifesaver for group projects, and can't stress how important it is for collaborative purposes.

Pros: I love everything about this software. I use it every day both in my personal and professional life. It integrates with so many things online to keep track of data from a lot of business information. It is great for list making, for problem-solving, for complicated projects, for sharing information, for reporting, and so much more! I find it so much easier to get the bigger picture of anything involving numbers or lists if I put it in a spreadsheet. The fact that Sheets can compete on an almost side-by-side level with Microsoft Excel and costs nothing is mind-blowing. The fact that it is coupled with Google Drive, and has an app that is pretty decent considering what screen real estate you're working with, and can, therefore, be accessed anywhere, on any computer with an internet connection and that you can collaborate with others on it at the same time no matter where the two of you are is just spectacular. I just cannot say enough great things about this software.

Cons: It would be great if there was a built-in workflow/approval process/document status type system for the team collaboration. As well as a label and or file notes that could be viewed by hovering over or clicking on the file but not actually opening it.

Overall: Organization of all the chaos.

Pros: Sheets is the alternative to Excel. It is a spreadsheet tool created to easily compile and manage sheets composed of a grid of cells. Each cell is arranged into numbered rows and letter-named columns. Sheets facilitates data manipulations thanks to specific formulas.

It features data calculation, graphing tools, chart, macro registration, and many other features.

You can manage your files everywhere and at any time because all the Google Apps works n Cloud. You can also work on them together with other users without any problem. There are different features available to facilitate teamwork: synchronization, auto-saving, commenting suggesting, and chatting tools.

You will always have your files on hand, no matter where you are, you only need an internet connection.

Cons: There are some missing features compared to Excel and some others are not so much intuitive, just as the Freeze option.

On the other hand, there are many tutorials and tips to figure out any issue.

Overall: Google Sheets is one of the Google Apps available inside Google Drive. All these Apps have been developed to create, edit and manage a different kind of files. Starting from Docs and Drawings to Sheets and Slides, Google provides a valuable alternative to the classic MS-Office Suite. Since I discovered them, I've stopped using Microsoft software.

Pros: I have been using excel for a good portion of my life and Google sheets has been extremely helpful with collaboration. If you know Excel then Google sheets should come pretty naturally to you for all of the basic functions. It is a little more of a learning curve if you want to insert complex functions or more advanced options.

If you are collaborating among many people with a sheet this tool is extremely helpful. We use sheets to collaborate our schedules and use updates between the co-workers in my organization. We also use it to collaborate some of our inventory and pricing databases. You can have multiple people working in the same sheet at the same time. You can see the people making changes to it in real-time and even tells you the user making the change. You can use a chat function to communicate while you are doing this as well.

Google sheets is also very helpful when you are needing to use multiple different devices to access the sheets. I use my tablet, laptop, and phone to access and change the files. The Android app is easy to use and easy to learn. Anything made in excel can be pulled up in Google Sheets.

I would highly recommend using google sheets for collaboration between spread sheets!

Cons: Everything works well and as intended for the software, so it is hard to determine what I like least about it. I suppose if I could change anything than it would be a more intuitive advanced function selection. As stated previously it is easy to do the basic functions but if you want to do very complex ones, it tends to be a higher learning curce.

Pros: I utilize Google Sheets often to share and collaborate on documents constantly. While it may lack some of the most sophisticated features of Excel, it allows a shared file to be worked on by multiple people at the same time (no need to request access to the 'writable' copy, etc.). This makes Google Sheets an invaluable tool when I am working on an item with a deadline that needs collaboration.

Cons: As I said, Google Sheets does lack some of the more sophisticated features of Excel. As such, I do not use Google Sheets when I am working on an item that I alone need access to. I still prefer Excel as my 'go-to' application, but when I need to share or collaborate, Excel makes this difficult by not having the spreadsheet cloud-based.

Overall: I work in a small office, and often am working on an item that a colleague is using in real-time for the completion of their work. As such, we decided to utilize Google Sheets to allow for real-time collaboration, to prevent the need for constantly sending Excel sheets to each other by email with minor changes and updates, never knowing if the document we were working on was the 'most complete.' The final straw was when we realized one set up updates had not been 'migrated' to the 'master' sheet, and had to spend twice as long going line-by-line to check to ensure all updates were on the 'master' copy. Since switching to Google, this has not happened.

Pros: Google Sheets is amazing and so full of rich features that it's going to be difficult to nail them down here. Far and away, the best set of features are related to the machine learning tools that have been added via the Discover section. Auto-formatting allows you to easily apply some dynamic styling to your data, the sheet will automatically build graphs and attempt to figure out what meaningful data you're looking for, and you can even ask it questions in english and it will build a formula to answer it!

On top of that, you can even connect to databases and query them to get the results directly in Sheets. It's amazing.

Cons: There isn't too much where I feel like Sheets falls short. I will say that if you're addicted to Excel, there are some tools that exist in Excel that may be missing initially. But plenty of people have built tons of add ons to Sheets to provide those tools for free, and it's possible to build custom functions or tools using Apps Script as well!

Overall: Overall, Sheets is a MUST HAVE in life. We use it in business every single day, and I use it in my personal life to balance and track expenses. I would never be able to go back to something that wasn't cloud-based (I can pull it up on my phone) or not fully functional (all features are available via web and app, no local clients).

Pros: I use Google Sheets for work every day and I found it a lot better than Microsoft Excel. Google Sheets excelled when I had to work on my thesis in college and after I got my survey done through Google Forms, I analyzed all the answers in a Google Sheet and it allowed me to create great charts for all the 65 questions I researched. It offers so many colors and designs to customize my charts and helped making my point easy to understand visually.

The best part, is that Google always keep improving so you can browse among hundreds of add ons depending on you needs for business or school. You can mark the file with a star to make it easy to find.

It is cloud-based, so you can easily access it from your desktop or phone, anywhere, anytime. Google Drive comes with a lot of free space, so you do not need to worry that you will exceed the space. The user interface is clean and self explanatory.

Cons: Sometimes it is slower than a regular excel sheet that you keep on your desktop, if you have trouble with your internet connection that will make it a nightmare to use this software.

Overall: I have been using Google Sheets for many years and never had any issues, ran hundreds of reports and created beautiful charts with its features for work and school.

Pros: I use Google Sheets for any spreadsheet document I need to work on with other people involved. Once shared, we all can work together online on the same document. The best part is version history wherein I can see who-edited-what-and-when. This helps a lot to track the changes as we work together, and then also gives the power to go back several versions ago.

Since this is provided by Google, it works great with other Google products like Gmail and Drive. I can easily attach or share files with my Gmail contacts. Actually, what is even more impressive is that you can even share your spreadsheet to users without a Google account (e.g., at least read-only).

Sharing files is easy and intuitive. You can choose the people you want to share it with and also the level of access that you want them to have (e.g., Read-Only, Read-Write).

All your files are synced and saved to your Google Drive. From there it is easy to manage. Also, the home page shows to you the recently created/edit files, as well as those shared to you.

Cons: For more advanced users (e.g., those using macros and complex formulas), Google sheets may be found wanting in certain advanced features of similar products (e.g., Excel).

Pros: This app can do almost everything Excel can do, and then in some instances, it can even do more things. Where it is lacking, it picks up points for the extra tricks it can do. It links to Google Forms, and it can notify when a new response is received through add-ons. You can move tabs from one spreadsheet to another, or copy a sheet/tab and then send the copied tab to another spreadsheet. You can set permissions for collaboration so that some team members can view, some can edit, and even lock down sections or tabs. It's so flexible for collaboration that I only use Excel when a client needs something submitted in that format, and I usually turn it into a Google Sheet and then download it in Excel format to send it back to them. It's amazingly flexible.

Cons: Drawbacks? There are only a few. Keyboard shortcuts to mimic excel would be nice. The biggest problem I have is when converting files from Excel into Google Sheets. Sometimes the formatting doesn't carry over. It's also difficult to merge cells or re-design a complicated worksheet after the fact, but I've never encountered anything I couldn't get done, and I prefer it to any of its competitors.

Overall: We work collaboratively a lot, and we use a lot of the add ons. It's amazing.

Pros: If you've used Excel or an Open Source Software Spreadsheet (OpenOffice, etc.), then you can make use of Google Sheets. And it's all in the cloud, so you can access from anywhere with an internet connection, and share with collaborators. (And, yes, you can view changes and roll them back in case someone messes up.)

And, of course, if you are a more advance user for the headier stuff, then Excel is your hook-up there... but for 90%+ of people can be served by Google Sheets at minimal cost.

Cons: There really isn't much not to like, except the sort/filter feature could be more intuitive -- basically, if you want to only pull up a specific set of data, you have to "unselect" all of the options, type your criteria, and then check off the criteria that best matches what you were looking for. Sort/filters should also support wildcards.

Also, native printing support would go a long way -- when you hit print (and if you don't use Chrome browser), the "print" will generate a PDF that you then, actually, have to print. So... multiple steps to do a basic function when it really isn't necessary.

Overall: Great, solid basic spreadsheet software, with ability to edit anywhere (with an internet connection, of course), plus the ability to collaborate with multiple persons.

Pros: Google Sheets is a free, intuitive, and easy to use data management program integrated with Google Drive. It blows almost all other competition out of the water. Sheets has almost all the functionality as its competitors, and best of all, can be used on any modern device to make real-time changes with multiple users at once. It has great a great backup engine and cloud saving technology which sync with its own servers that make for an experience unlike any other. All age groups from younger children to adults can use this with absolute ease. Set up is very simple, and it also integrates with other Google services.

Cons: While Google Sheets is a very intuitive, convenient software, I would appreciate if it also had a paid version with much more robust features. As it stands now, programs like Excel still stand strong as they offer a substantial amount of features that always make Sheets look quite weak in design and features.

Overall: Google Sheets is unmatched in terms of price, design, ease of use, and accessibility. It does lack in terms of features due to its price tag ($0.00), and can be improved greatly in that aspect. I would like to see a paid verison with features rivaling its direct competitor, Excel, to make this platform even more functional than ever before.

Pros: As a user of G Suite for our business including Drive, we use Docs and Sheets daily for all of our business document needs to keep our business organized. I've never been happy with Microsoft office products, so using Google's simple web-based offerings makes perfect sense. Multiple users can collaborate on the same Sheets document. Formulas, highlighting, charts -- everything that an Excel user expects and is accustomed to is also available with Google Sheets. Online help docs and add-ons allow for various complex formulas and operations to wrangle data and accomplish any reporting tasks that are needed. Google Sheets documents can be imported from CSV and Excel, and most importantly Sheets documents can be saved and exported in various file formats including .xls and .pdf for attachment and emailing to people outside of our company.

Cons: There are certain file size limitations since Sheets is web-based. Once you get into a large dataset or file size over a few megabytes, there are lag issues and of course file size and row limits that you might hit.

Overall: An excellent and affordable web-based spreadsheet application for small business needs. Simple to create, share, collaborate, import, and export.

Pros: Google has made it so you can move data that is in sheets to other projects within Google. I love being able to work remotely but with other contributers at the same time- in real time. We can have a conference call and complete business- with immediate visual confirmation even if we are miles away. It automatically saves your work as you enter it, so you don't have to worry if something happens to your connection- plus, it allows you to go back to previous versions if you have any questions or if you want to recheck something.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was having to "relearn" how to operate the spreadsheets, having used the standard sheet program- it was a little confusing to get used to how certain areas were different- not bad, but unfamiliar. It also doesn't get along well with other spreadsheet programs. If you want to import data from Word or vice versa- there are some things that get moved around- completely fixable- just part of the learning process on my part

Overall: I love using the Google products together and they stand alone well, too. The ease of use and the ability to work in real time and actually see what is going on, the data being entered, and things being changed AS they are changing is amazing. It even shows who entered the information or made the changes. This is such an amazing group of products that I will never go back. I'm just waiting for everyone else to realize it and make the switch, too.

Pros: 1. Its very easy and intuitive to use this tool. Its available for free as a desktop software, mobile app and is also accessible through browser.

2. Integrated to Google Suite products. Sheets are automatically saved in google drive. Its a cloud based service so anyone can access the sheet from anywhere and at any time. Permissions can be set on who can view/edit the spreadsheets.

3. Real time collaboration is the best feature in this tool as multiple users can develop the sheet simultaneously. Allows us to chat with others and post comments on their work as well.

4. Interface is easier compared to MS Excel. All basic and intermediate level features are available in Google Sheets.

Cons: 1. Some advanced level features in formulas, macros, etc which are available in MS Excel aren't there in Sheets. So it is not as powerful as MS Excel.

2. Those who are used to the interface and navigation across tabs in MS Excel might need some time to get adjusted to the interface of Google Sheets. For a new user, it probably shouldn't be an issue.

3. There could be formatting issues while converting sheets from MS Excel to Google Sheets and vice versa.

Overall: Best for Real time collaboration!

2. Sheets have given an amazing free alternative to other paid office tools/suits.

3. A very powerful online collaborative tool with version tracking

5. A Lot of extensions and add-ons available to ease the use.

6. Any Google account can be used to access this sheets in drive and it can be shared with anyone with controllable accesses.

7. A Lot of free templets recently added are very good, like invoice format, expense sheets, etc.

8. sheets can be exported in excel format, pdf, csv, tsv, etc

Cons: 1. Internet connection is must for ease of use (though the offline editing is available but needs extra plugins)

2. Few things are less as compared to Microsoft Excel - but that depends on the need of the person.

3. Very heavy database files are little slow to access since it converts all the excels files to google sheets.

Overall: Overall will give a 10/10 to sheets, since it's a life saver for our small startup company and everyone is using it for day to day stuff.

Even all the collaborative work with clients are been managed on google sheets.

And the best part is - it's FREE to use(depending on the drive storage limit)

Pros: The ability to share the spreadsheet has been the biggest win of Google Sheets. It is an innovative solution to share spreadsheets online. It has all of spreadsheets basic features of course with additional pros. Anyone can access the spreadsheet with a link. Editing and saving can be done real time, allowing colleagues to work together. Cell highlights also show where the other person is working so we don't overwrite. Copying sheets, protecting cell ranges, and copying an entire spreadsheet is all possible making working on sheets very convenient.

Cons: When you are working too many sheets at a time, they tend to slow down and sometimes go unresponsive. This also happens when you have worked on 1000+ rows on a sheet. Though sheets are available offline, changes done sometimes not recorded, having us to repeat them.

Overall: I have been using Google sheets for over 5 years now. I use them on a daily basis from doing my work planner to creating reports, analysing data, writing down ideas, and planning on projects. For me this has been an 'online notebook' where I can jot down everything I want to and also keep track of the progress. As a team manager, most times planning projects for clients with my team was efficient and well done using Google sheets and it's features.

Pros: - automatic backup, sync, simultaneous use

- excellent collaboration features

- easy to use

- lots of plugins, many of them are free

- very helpful online community

Cons: - limited formulas

- does not work with Gmail for mail-merge etc, like Excel does for Outlook (some plugins can do this, but it is clunky)

- if you have more than a couple hundred rows of data, the system can get very slow

Overall: I have been using Google Sheets for many years now and the product gets better every day. I work in a University and most of the time my spreadsheets have no more than 30 columns and 500 rows. For this size, the product functions very well. Like other products in the GSuite, Sheets is easy to search through, and integrates well with other Google products. This system is built for collaboration. There are also some nifty presentation tools that have been added to the product recently. I have also found great utility in connecting Google Forms to Google Sheets to manage enrollment in different programs. The space used by native sheets is not counted toward Google Drive space usage. The basic product is also free of charge. No ads in Google Sheets, but it may be linked to Google Ads.

Another random feature that I have used for fun (so far) is the ability to integrate live search data from Google, like stock prices, currency exchange rates, etc. This can be very helpful in a different context.

Pros: It does not need installation, but you can use it from any internet browser, it does not even have to be chrome. You can open, edit and print any spreadsheet of "Excel" and other programs if they are saved on your Google drive. You can design a spreadsheet from scratch or use any of the pre-designed formats it offers. I love its predictive and auto-filling functions, which help you complete lists of numbers or months or days of the week, etc. And I also think that the design formats give you a plus. Beyond that, Google Sheets is useful for any other spreadsheet editing program, and has nothing to envy the competition. Another thing that I think should be mentioned, because not many know it, but you can improve its functionality by adding specific free add-ons to adapt it to your needs

Cons: many of the add-ons can only be added to Chrome.

Overall: I use it since I was in college. At that time, I used it when I went to a printing center and needed to edit some spreadsheet before printing, if they did not have any spreadsheet editing program installed. After that, I started using it more often to design my spreadsheets from scratch and I found it to be a very useful tool that has been improving with time

Pros: A significant advantage is that the tools and capabilities of the product are a clone of Microsoft Excel. This reduces the learning curve significantly, which is a huge plus when adopting a new software tool.

It is a fully functional spreadsheet system. I would rate my use of the product as "moderate", meaning that I do not need or try to use the most sophisticated functions or try to emulate the more sophisticated functions of Excel. But for moderate use, it can't be beat.

Cons: Sharing the documents with others. This seems counter-intuitive, at first, because Google and so many of its products were designed with sharing in mind. This is fine in an office environment where everyone uses (or is told to use) the same product. But I'm sharing the spreadsheets with other volunteers in a not-for-profit organization. Most of them use Microsoft Excel, and I can 't force them to use Google Sheets.

So, I have to go through this process in "sharing": After creating the spreadsheet, I save it as an MS Excel document. I email that document to others. I receive changes to the spreadsheet. I go into Google Sheets and open the document. This is the first opportunity I have to see the changes made.

MS Excel files have an extension of .xls (or .xlsx). You can associate this extension with a product other than MS Excel, so that when you double-click the file it will open in another product of your choice - provided it is an installed software product. Because Google Sheets (as well as Google Docs) is web-based, you cannot associate the file extension with the Google app, so you have to go through a cumbersome process when opening MS Excel files.

Pros: Before Google Sheet was introduced, there was a common refrain that 95% of the users on MS Office only used 5% of the functionality. Google introduced a product that is just that 5% of the functionality, and the world went bonkers. What was great is that without the 95% additional functionality adding complexity (ugh, those MS Office menus), it was so much easier to use. As more functionality has been introduced over time, I'd say 99% of users don't need MS Office.

Sharing and persistent links with user-level auth is a game changer. How often do you see a product that not only unseats the standard, but has the old champ chasing them for a decade or more and never catching up?

Add in that it integrates so well with docs, slides, etc. and you get package that should be the first app you click on.

Cons: Adding rows needs a keyboard shortcut. More than docs, excel invites edge cases that are trying to do a certain thing once, and that particular function/formula isn't built in. Like the formula autocomplete with one sentence help text, would love to be able to right-lick for a simple usage and longer description.

Pros: Google Sheets was undoubtedly one of the best applications that google could have made, since it allowed online control of spreadsheets, which allowed many companies to evolve their processes, for example it was possible for many users to edit the sheets and they saw the changes online and live, so that all the members of a working group can monitor the changes and generate subsequent analyzes, until they present dynamic dashboards with information about a project in progress, the reality in my particular case I use it in my work, since I have to submit lists of people, list of products, advances of accounts, to other colleagues, and with this beautiful tool it is easier and easier for them to see and modify it if necessary.

Cons: The tool can still improve, the reality is very optimized, for example there is still a need to improve the topic of macros, which is so important for many cases

Overall: In my work, the Google Calculation Worksheets are used to take control of personnel entry to the installation, verify who is already in the dining room at the corresponding times, list of people who are going to enter a specific room, all this needs be controlled and seen by the respective leaders of the relevant coordination, in addition to the project manager, in this case the tool has helped greatly to optimize these processes, in my particular case I have had to present dynamic boards in google sheets to present report and analysis, and the tool has given me everything necessary to make the presentation a success, reality is one of the tools that I use the most in my company

Pros: As with most google software, since it is free the value for the money is great. I was using a mac computer that did not have excel loaded on it, so that is the reason why I started using Google Sheets. I LOVED that everything saves automatically and you don't have to worry about your computer freezing and losing all your information. What I often use and also love is that you can share the sheet to coworkers and have an open and fluid sheet for all to use at the same time to input pertinent information. That way we aren't all creating separate sheets and can work off the same page from the comfort of our own computers.

Cons: Creating algorithms is a bit more difficult than when using excel, but it was something that was easily figured out once I did some research online. It just doesn't have as many options as excel as far as customization, but for what I use sheets for, I don't need much customization. It may have more potential that I have not yet explored since I always use it for the same thing (customer retention information).

Overall: I would definitely recommend google sheets. It is very user friendly and gets the job done for a FREE pricetag!

Pros: Google sheets is an absolute must still in 2018. It's fast performing, and does all of the major if not all...of the functions of traditional Microsoft Excel. For advanced VBA features found in Excel, you can still launch the same code and javascript in Google Sheets. That alone makes Sheets a lot more powerful. The number one feature of Google Sheets is the ability to share the file, download as excel/csv, add/remove viewing/editing permissions all online. We use this internally for our own documents but for sales presentations and quoting. Google Sheets is a go to for everything financial and even inventory workflows.

Cons: There's really no cons or dislikes with Excel. It works like a charm for anything numbers, and a great piece of software for invocing or quoting. It's versatile for any task.

Overall: We couple The google sheets extension marketplace where there's a ton of useful plugins and scripts for Google Sheets. This makes it a ton more powerful than using traditional excel. We run our financial accounting for quick invoices, reconciliation and expense tracking. We also use it for inventory and drafting up proposals. It's versatile and somewhat more intuitive than using tables in Microsoft Word.

Pros: I really like using this software because these spreadsheets can be easily shared with friends/colleagues as links. Sharing these spreadsheets as links is more convenient because just by a click the sheet can be opened and viewed with permission. When this spreadsheet is shared to others, they can access it at the same time and important things can be discussed together with easy access. Access to make editions also can be granted by the person who created the spreadsheet too. In that way its easy to share ideas as a team.

Cons: The least thing i liked about this software is that we cannot make editions offline. When the internet is down or off, one cannot make use of it and have to wait until the internet is reconnected. In this case, without the internet connection, one cannot proceed using the spreadsheet.

Overall: I had been working for a digital marketing company and have widely used google spreadsheets during my work. This made work more easier and faster. Every team member has google spreadsheet for themselves and maintain their daily planner. And at the end of the day, the supervisor gets to check all the work via this and discuss with the team member. The links can be easily shared and also it can be shared only to those whom the permission to access is given; in that case the privacy is protected too. Even during power failure, there is no need of fear because the sheets are saved automatically.

Pros: I love Google Sheets to create spreadsheets for VIPKID. Being an online teacher, online spreadsheets are helpful for myself to keep organized. I also use other teacher's created sheets to help me do my job. VIPKID teachers can use Google Sheets in many ways. We can create spreadsheets for feedback for students. We can share notes and collaborate together using it. I also use it to keep my Manycam files together so if I need to re-download any images to use during teaching for my props. It is very useful! I am easily able to create and copy and paste from the google sheets onto my feedback for my online classes. It is easy to me to switch between the VIPKID program to google sheets to copy and paste the info my student needs to improve their English speaking.

Cons: It is hard to see some of the tabs at the top of the page at times. Maybe a bigger size font/consolidating tabs would be helpful.

Overall: I am easily able to create and copy and paste from the google sheets onto my feedback for my online classes. It is easy to me to switch between the VIPKID program to google sheets to copy and paste the info my student needs to improve their English speaking.

Pros: Google Sheets is easy to 'program' and the documentation is excellent.

As a web developer, some tasks are just easier to create a script, database or website interface for. But Google Sheets has become the go-to app for more and more requirements, including both internal references and tools, and personal tools.

It's also great for document conversion (input from another format and output as several common and varied formats).

Using a Google Sheet to convert and format copy and pasted content is often much more successful than my favourite desktop spreadsheet apps.

Cons: Occasionally I will need to use a desktop app for importing certain files which Google Sheets had trouble opening, perhaps because of their size, or some other complexity or corruption.

Overall: Google Sheets has sped up our work on several repetitive or complicated tasks for which we were able to quickly and simply make a very useful tool, even quicker than if we coded one up ourselves as a script or database and web interface.

Permission controls for sharing and security of the Google account overall has made it attractive and simple for a wide variety of uses that have enabled work to be completed at a much more efficient rate.

Pros: Online collaboration has totally changed the game with office productivity. Being able to easily work with multiple people on one worksheet has made team work faster and much more enjoyable. If you're still emailing powerpoints around and trying to merge changes together you are doing it wrong. This is THE game changer.

The templates have gotten a lot better and are quite powerful, allowing you to quickly create consistent presentations that look great.

The ability to be online or offline for presentation as well as for working on slides is HUGE. It really does feel just like another app.

Cons: Animation management has recently been improved, but is a bit weak at times. Also some of the slide transitions and more advanced 'inserts' could be better - but linking to sheets/charts and other slides has improved quite a bit.

There is a bug around scrolling, there are times when you are trying to move something and it changes slides on you. However, compared to crashes and bugs in PowerPoint, I'm willing to deal with it.

Overall: I'm totally hooked on sheets over powerpoint, I move quickly and get presentations knocked out in no time.

Pros: Google sheets enables me to produce work schedule and keeping track of the things like financial track, data recording , bids and contracts. It is an advance form of excel , which could be used to access and edit documents online. Google sheet accounts can also be integrated with google account so we don't have much issues in collecting or gathering data. Discrete 'edit' or 'read' view saves documents from any unwanted changes . Google sheets have really facilitated the data collection work.

Cons: Google sheets are basically a platform to use online and all its activities are to done online. So when we're out of connection then editing the doc could be difficult as its format doesn't fit compatible any other data entry tool. It also lacks few advance formulas for calculations but most importantly it is secured drive unlike our USB's or PenDrive which often gets lost or the data in them gets corrupted.

Overall: Google sheets have facilitated me lots with keeping tracks of the projects and the clients. It easily let us share the working on daily basis with each other or share the numerical figures with each other that have really save us lots of time and money.

Pros: Google sheets are very convenient in that you can use it for spreadsheets without necessarily using microsoft office. It is freely available in the google drive and its easy to use when you have the basic knowledge of microsoft excel. I like google sheets because when i log in my gmail account I can always access other previous files and therefore I don't lose any file on google sheets. The templates also really save time.Ican easily use google sheets on my phone and laptop too. This is a sofware i enjoy using in my daily assignments in the office.

Cons: Google sheets is generally fantastic but only few disadvantages on the same. For instance, some of the functions are hectic when using them and one also needs for thoroughly familiarize withe spreadsheets in order to use google sheets.

I have been experiencing trouble when I need to drag the cursor down and make a series of numbers continously as you do it in the spreadsheets.

Overall: Generally google sheets is just fantastic and ease of access anywhere and anytime is so cool about it. You just need to log in to your gmail and no worries to lose your data even when you probably forget saving.

Pros: Google Sheets is the solution to so many of my problems. No matter if I need to build a quick spreadsheet for my content management or content planning projects, or a more advanced statistical database to analyze data and information, Google Sheets is there for all of my needs.

As I was a heavy user of Microsoft Excel, I was nervous about making the switch to Google Sheets considering what seems to be a largely simplified piece of software, but I've been surprised by the way it handles my tasks.

It's a brilliant way to manage spreadsheets online because you can access them from your laptop, desktop, and phone! I can track anything from anywhere.

Google Sheets also handles some of my most complex and large databases with ease.

Cons: I've found making the switch from Microsoft Excel to Google Sheets a little confusing at times. Some of the functions and features that I am used to working with weren't present. However, it was never a major problem as I could find another way to progress.

Overall: About as simplified as it gets. A perfect online solution that enables me to utilize the power of Microsoft Excel on the go.

Pros: Most importantly it provides you reliable anytime, anywhere access as long as you have an internet connection. Supports critical functions and is guaranteed to save a great deal of time and effort rather than emailing and checking on an attachment time to time. Love the simultaneous access, version control, edit history features and also you can decide who can access/edit your sheets with easy access control features. Compatible across many devices, browsers and simply an amazing product which is also free.

Cons: Nothing much to point out as downsides but when compared with other spreadsheet software, you will see that the number of functions is limited in Google Sheets, but still manageable for most day to day applications.

Overall: I have been using Google Sheets for so many years and I'm happy to recommend Google Sheets for anyone who has an uninterrupted internet connection as one of the best office tools. You can collect, analyze and share your data/information far more conveniently than with a desktop application and Google Sheets is a very good tool for online meetings and team discussions to keep you organized. One of the best freely available tools you will ever find from a relaible vendor.

Pros: It's a spreadsheet on the cloud, that means that you only need a web browser to access your data and, more important, edit it. Forget about not having excel installed in the computer you are using. It also means that is accessible from multiple platforms (desktop, mobile) from their web browser, although you can use the dedicated mobile apps in each platform (iOS, Android) for that matter.

It's integrated in the Google suite of products, and it's compatible with Google automation tools (you can code some automations), so you can integrate multiple tools (like send emails from Gmail to a list of recipients made in Spreadsheet).

Cons: You will not find the most advanced features in Excel, but for most users this is unlikely.

I find it slow to load the spreadsheet the first time, but once you have it loaded you can work with no problem. It will matter if the sheet is a list you open, update some data and close fast and frequently.

Overall: As most of the tools in the Google family, Google Sheets satisfy two conditions: it's not the most versatile tool in his field, but has the 90% of the features most people needs.

Pros: Quite often I was being asked to send and resend and resend the same spreadsheet with corrections, either to format, formula, etc. WIth Google Sheets, we can now collaborate and make the necessary changes on the fly and print/save in real time. I always create my document in Excel and save it to Google Sheets if I need to share it . The other great feature is that it's accessible from ANYWHERE! Even from your Smartphone! My stress level is back in the normal range again! I highly recommend you get your teams to use Google Docs! Another great advantage is that I can place larger documents that I would otherwise not be able to send via email, similar to Dropbox

Cons: Just as any online app of a program, Google Sheets has some minor limitation. You can update your spreadsheet in Excel Online, but you may not have all the functionalities as the full program. For my use, it works just fine. I created my document in regular Excel and then share it on Google Sheets.

Overall: I am so relieved to not have to send the same doc multiple times and that people can retrieve the docs when they want them and make changes on the fly.

Pros: Google Sheets have become a major part of the new age office system. Some of its pros are as follows

1. At a time, many of the users can edit it at the same time.

2. We can give different access permissions(view, edit and owner) to different users.

3. It can be shared easily across the organization.

4. It could be used as a database using with the Google Apps Script, Google Appmaker.

5. We could easily add macros and add ons with the product.

6. Most of the functionality which we use in excel could be implemented here.

Cons: As it is on cloud, it has some accessibility and scaling issues. Some of the issues are given below:

1. It has a cell limit of 2000000 cells.

2. It takes a lot of time to search when we use huge data.

3. It still has some gaps in VLookup and Hlookup.

4. It hangs sometime when we are trying to do operations on large scale.

Overall: I was able to do a lot of automations using this product using it as a database. Also, it helped me organize various data. I also helped in making it popular in various organization. For project management, asset management etc. It is a great project. But it still need some modifications.

Pros: Google Sheets has all the power of the Google Cloud Platform. Instant keystroke saving, easy sharing, and collaborative editing are baked in. The feature set of a base level spreadsheet allows it to compete with free spreadsheet software.

Cons: Google Sheets has some significant failings. Printing layouts have finally been approved, but are still barely functionally adequate. The lack of intuitive features with printing makes it a non-option for basic users. No "Set Print Area" layout options that are acceptable. The layout just doesn't work.

Simple stylistic features are noticeably absent in Google Sheets. Text indent functions, something that are a standard accounting style, even when used in only unofficial reports, need to be present. The feature exists in other Google Applications. I should not need to resort to Macro-Like features to get this done.

Overall: The cloud advantages of Google Sheets make it an acceptable solution for a number of my daily spreadsheet tasks. It is almost good enough to replace most offline free alternatives. But when it comes to important, mission critical spreadsheets, it doesn't quite have the full feature set we need to make it happen.

Pros: Sheets is the Spreadsheet App from Google and its right there in the G-suite and you can use it for free as well. It is an amazing app that allows me to do all my spreadsheet work, and there is a looot of it, right there in the browser without having to install anything extra on all Operating Systems, be it windows, Mac or even Linux. Everything I do here gets automatically saved to the cloud and its very asy for me to collaborate on documents with colleagues and clients. I can even controll the amount of access a user has when I share it with someone. I can restrict someone to only viewing the document and can give someone edit permissions as well.

Cons: There is absolutely no problems that I faced with this application, apart from the fact that it will not work properly without an active internet connection, so if there is a internet speed issue or a connection issue, I would not be able to work on it. But then, this is a Web Application and it is supposed to be like this and not work without the internet so this is not actually a problem with the software.

Pros: Google Sheets has its place in the market and for the cost for a standard user (free) it helps a lot of people who can't afford Office. The ease of collaborative work within Google Sheets makes it ideal for certain scenarios. Community created Add-Ons help to bridge some of the gaps that advanced Excel users may miss using Google Sheets.

Cons: There are a lot of features that Excel users will miss using Google Sheets and can be accomplished, however, at the cost of many additional work hours and complications that don't arise with Excel. There are many basic features offered in Excel that either are missing from Google Sheets or just don't function at the same level or ease that you experience with a paid spreadsheet software.

Overall: Overall, Google Sheets can be a great stopgap if you don't need advanced functionality. While you can achieve a lot of the same things you do in Excel with Google Sheets you will find yourself wanting more if you are an advanced user. However, it is ideal for basic use. For a normal user that is not using Enterprise Google, the cost is perfect (free) but for someone using Google for Business, you might find the features lacking for the costs.

Pros: I have used google since first day when i started working in my office and the overall experience with google sheets have been very good. The features i loved of google sheets are:

-I can access data of my work when i work from home with help of its share feature which is absolutely worth using this software.

-Data gets saved simultaneously as i work which makes me less concerned about losing data and save more time.

-Access of google sheets is smooth as it runs even internet connection signal is very weak.

-Downloading option into various formats is really helpful.

-Moreover the use of google sheets are just free and very user-friendly.

Cons: Overall experience using google sheets is great but i had encountered couple of issues with this software as:

-Sometimes the data take much longer time to save data maybe due to connectivity or server issues.

-The storage is limited to 2000000 cells which sometimes create a slight effort to create another sheet.

Overall: Using google sheets is a smart option and easy to use.It has helped me reduced repetitive work and has help me save overall time.

Pros: - its a great collaboration tool (when you have or need to have multiple people working on a same doc)

- its syncs with other Google components (e.g. with gmail for mail merge)

- has basic excel functionalities

- tracking past edits (by users)

- macros!!!

- all docs are saved on a server (computer crash wont be an issue)

Cons: - if you use spreadsheets for data analysis and/or visualization, Excel would still be a better choice

- no built-in formulas and functions

- filtering and sorting functions are more confusing if compared to Excel

- limited charting options (some of the charts have to be drawn by hand)

- security (I work in education, and we wont be able t store student data on a google drive because of a privacy issue)

Overall: Google sheet is a great collaboration tool, when you are working in a team on the same document (it lets you track all made changes, which could be very beneficial in some case). It is very limited in its functionalities (basically replicating basic functions of Excel); and if you need something more advanced, you would have to turn to Excel (Excel is more appealing when it comes to data visualization for further data presentation).

Pros: The ability to collaborate on a document in realtime eliminated version confusion. Accessibility controlled by creator so it was easy to share with users. Users are able to control and what can be done on a sheet by sheet level. Really gives owners full control over who can do things to the sheet. Easy to send out to other users as needed. Biggest pro of the Google Sheets tool for us was we avoided having people saving copies to their desktops and then referring back to outdated sheets at a later date. Auto saving is nice and Google Sheets tracks version histories if you need to go back and revisit updates.

Cons: Not many cons to be honest. Owners must be diligent with the access they provide and must monitor who has access at all times, particularly if the sheet contains any sensitive information. There is risk involved in situations where HR notifications don't make it out to the business unit leaders and access isn't revoked in a timely manner.

Overall: Overall a great experience. Easy to use and work with. Very helpful for teams spread across various offices and time zones.

Pros: My experience coming from Excel made me nervous to use Sheets, but for the most part, they are similar enough that I was able to jump in and use it on day one. There was a learning curve, but overall it works mostly the same. I use this program extensively every day and can say that once my supervisor gets something set up it's easy for me and my co-worker to use.

The aspect of creating pivot tables is easy enough as well as we rely on them every single day to provide data to our company whether it is our COO or employees on the ground level.

Cons: It's no Excel. I only say this because Excel has certain functions in terms of gathering and displaying data that google sheets just doesn't offer. I will also note that sheets take quite a while to get going whereas their charts and other programs react more quickly. Since I use sheets about 99% of the time I would prefer the most optimal performance to come from sheets rather than another Google product I rarely use.

I often find myself having to refresh or instruct employees to refresh as data grows stale and stops auto populating after a few hours.

Overall: Overall, I would recommend this product to most people. I think its functionality is easy enough for everyday employees like me to use.

Pros: Before Google Sheets, we were using Microsoft Excel. Excel is great but a disadvantage is that every time a new change has been made, we would have to resend the sheet to everyone associated with our project. With Google Sheets, that process is automatically done for us. I love that I can make endless changes and people can just log on themselves and see the changes. I also like that we can all add on to the Sheets together while online. The convenience of it being online is incredible helpful and time saving -- time is always a necessity in my industry and many other industries I'm sure. I also love that it tells me all the changes that have been made, by whom, and when. So when there's a mistake, we can go back and see where we went wrong.

Also, I'm part of this Facebook group that keeps track of how much everyone should be getting paid in regards to their positions in the entertainment industry and there are about 50,000+ people in that group. One person has created a Google Sheet and every single of those 50k+ people have logged into that sheet and wrote their information in so we can all see. THAT to me, is just an amazing feature.

Cons: I don't have any dislikes about this product as of yet. I honestly can't think of anything right now. Maybe just make auto correct slightly better. I always miss the apostrophe in the middle of I'm and I WISH Google would fix it for me. And also to capitalize the singe "i's" as well.

Overall: Overall, I love this program. We use it on a lot of the shows that I work on and it's a huge timesaver.

Pros: When using any spreadsheet application, the gold standard of comparison is Microsoft Excel. Google Sheets is able to keep pace with Excel with familiar formula logic and data handling capacity. Additionally, the built-in coordination made possible through Google Drive is a drastic plus. I've had good experiences using Google Sheets for budgeting / budget tracking for my household, using Google Sheets for Gantt charts to manage project planning for a 3 to 4 person team, and creating shareable repositories of information about work projects with management and team-members.

Cons: While Google sheets surpasses the stand-alone Excel in group participation ability and compares favorably to Microsoft Excel in core functionality, users familiar with the more robust data record handling capabilities of Excel may find themselves using Google search to research how to do something they already know how to do in Excel. If using Excel for financial tracking, users may find that they have difficulties getting their bank data exports formatted. Additionally, relying exclusively on Google Sheets over Excel may make many multi-agency non-profit reports slightly more complicated.

Overall: Overall, Google Sheets is an immensely useful, versatile, and reliable spreadsheet application and service. It's multi-user and cross-platform versatility as a web-based spreadsheet program is an amazingly helpful feature for any business or household working and living at today's tempo.

Pros: The user interface and overall presentation of Google Sheets is in comparison to other similar products in my opinion outstanding. Other free products are usually not that good looking and furthermore don't integrate that well into the other Google cloud services. (Apps, Online Version, Google Account connection, Google Drive, collaborative working) In my experience, it is very useful to be able to implement diagrams you created in Google Sheets into a Google Doc. In addition, the help-pages are very helpful in order to learn to use commands, to create diagrams or anything else - in the learning phase I've used it a lot.

Cons: Luckily, there are only a few items to mention here, but I would like to highlight the scope of functions. Most important in my opinion are some missing adjustments in the diagram-settings. In the most cases, I got around the problems in some way, but once I had to change to a different application in order to complete the task. A different problem I had to force were the limitations in the mobile Android app, which often does not allow for complex diagrams or other more expert features

Overall: As a student, I actually like the Google Sheets universe. It allows me to take notes on the go, to use complex calculations, to create diagrams, work together with colleagues and all of that synced with a beautiful user interface. It might not be the best or most expert application, but in the most use cases, it is the best choice for my projects.

Pros: The most attractive feature of Sheets are its portability and availability on all platforms. It is very handy to be able to develop a sheet on your desktop and have it available on your mobile device. This enables the user to create some powerful tools and have them easily accessible. Additionally, the compatibility in formulas between Sheets and MS Office is very helpful. An experienced Excel user can jump right into sheets without any issues. The contextual help for formulas is far better in Sheets than in other products. Additional formulas available in sheets add additional powerful functionality, such as the ability to automatically pull data from Google Finance (for stock prices and currency conversion). The ability to import from Excel makes the migration process easy

Cons: There are a number of quirks with Sheets that prevents it from being a potential candidate to replace the desktop software. First, it is often quite slow. Formulas often don't update as quickly as they should, which can create some confusing situations. Second, it strips macros on imported Excel files, so any macro functionality would need to be recreated for documents that require it. Third, the menu system is a bit unusual. I often have a hard time finding certain functions, and I've found that some features found in other tools are either hard to find in Sheets or don't exist at all.

Pros: I've been an Excel nut for 20+ years, so when Google came out with Google Sheets, I was very curious to see how it compared to Excel. First off, there are similarities but in the end I believe they are meant to be different birds. Almost like, Excel and Apple Numbers. The biggest perk with Google Sheets is obviously the sharing functionality, which is a very cool feature especially from a project standpoint. You can have multiple people in the spreadsheet at one time. Plus the spreadsheet auto saves everything you do without having to remember to click save, so that's nice as well. The other nice feature is the flexibility to link Google Sheets to the other Google Suite Apps. We did this working with Google Forms and Google Sheets.

Cons: The one issue that I have with Google Sheets is that it doesn't have as much power as Excel does with formulas. There are things I can do in Excel that I can't do in Google Sheets that end up being an Add-on and then they still don't work the same. It's frustrating.

Pros: First, I have to say that I love Google Sheets. I use Google Sheets almost everyday at work because it makes my job so much easier. My profession is accounting so I deal with numbers all day long. Google Sheets makes my life easier because I can share the reports I am creating with the other employees of the business. I love that Google Sheets are available to use wherever you have internet access. You no longer have to worry about bring your laptop along to present a spreadsheet report. You can access Google Sheets on any computer which is very convenient. If you deal with numbers and data, then you must start using Google Sheets. It will save you tons of time.

Cons: The cons of Google Sheets is that it is not similar to Excel. If you Excel all the time you will notice that Google Sheets has its limitations. Overall, it can do most of the same things as Excel, but if you have complicated formulas, then I recommend sticking with Excel, because it is better equipped to deal with these complicated formulas.

It allowed us to develop spreadsheet calculations, lists, notes, documentation etc. all from remote locations. The live update when editing is one of the most powerful features of this software allowing multiple users to edit and make changes to the same document at the same time. This feature is priceless when working in collobaration with multiple people in remote locations. The ability to access the files on different devices is a huge positive as well. Overall it is great when using spreadsheets for projects and assignments.

Cons: I thoroughly enjoyed using this software and do not have many cons to say about it. The only con that comes to mind is that when editing the same spreadsheet via multiple users is that sometimes the changes can be delayed and cause errors when editing.

Pros: It's perfect to share some info, discuss with a team, review someone else's job... I.e., any kind of online and shared job.

It's very similar to Excel (spreadsheet software used by almost everyone nowadays), but with the great pro that it can be used online and collaboratively, with many users at the same time.

It also works great with your G+/Gmail account, advising you if someone has updated a file, added a comment, etc.

Great tool for this increasingly online and "on-the-cloud" world!

Cons: It may freeze and even crash sometimes if you don't have a good PC or if you are not using Google Chrome (since this is a web-based tool, so you do need to run it in a browser).

Also, although very similar to MS Excel, it does have some differences with commands and shortcuts, which may take some of your time to get used to them.

Overall: It's a great tool to work collaboratively with spreadsheets in an on-line and on-the-cloud environment.

Perfect for team work, to review someone else's job and even to keep a simple on-line database.

Another great solution from Google!

Pros: Collaboration is made simple! You can easily see where others are working in real-time so you can avoid stepping on eachother's toes. The basic and some of the advanced features of Microsoft's Excel (formulas, etc.) are available, some of it being even easier to use. Thankfully you can export to Excel, as well.

You can also make users "view only" so they don't mess anything up if they don't need to interact with the data.

Cons: I still prefer to finalize the visual format in Microsoft Excel, once I'm done collaborating. I feel you don't have as many formatting tools available to you in Google Sheets and it's not as easy to use.

Also, I like to do this to verify everything looks as expected and didn't get messed up when exporting, since I expect most people that I send spreadsheets to will be using Excel.

Overall: Working with lists of data that require various touch points. Each time one of us is working on a row, we can see where everyone else is so that they don't touch it. Also, since it's real time, someone can come in behind me and immediately see what I've done.

Pros: Google Sheets has more than enough functionality in order to create great documents. Google Sheets has a range of functions that can be found in Excel, this makes the transition from Excel to Sheets very easy. While Sheets does not have the capability of Excel, the majority of users can complete all daily tasks whilst having the ability to quickly and easily collaborate. As stated previously, Google Sheets does not have the power of Excel but I have noticed in the past 18 months new features have been added which allows the product to almost match it's counterpart. Users can also open Excel formatted documents in Google Sheets by converting the file. Google Sheets, as many of the other Google products seamlessly integrates with other Google products, Google Forms being an example.

Cons: There is a limit on the number of cells which can be used in a single Google Sheet, at the time of writing this review. While the majority of users won't exceed this limit, there have been occasions where I have had to archive the data on a Google Sheet in order to restore functionality.

Overall: Google Sheets allows us to reduce the number of Microsoft Office subscriptions across the business

Pros: Google sheets is amazingly versatile. I use it for everything from planning vacation budgets to modeling revenue projections in my business. I've even used it as a makeshift database for a very early stage SaaS I'm working on in my spare time. It allows you to connect cell data to the outside world, as opposed to just being limited to working with what's in your workbook, and is a super secure way to store sensitive data that needs to be shared amongst your team because every Google Sheet can be access-restricted based on email address of the user.

Cons: I discovered recently that each Google Sheet has a 200,000 cell limit. That sounds like a lot, but if you are working with a lot of data and don't want to use a dedicated database (rare, but happens sometimes), you'll need to figure out to restructure all your tables and data so that you fit everything you need to within the limit of the software.

Overall: Allows me to quickly and easily build everything from calculators to SaaS prototypes without needing to rely on any external database tools.

Pros: Google Sheets is amazing!

I use it all the time. It is an enterprise class spreadsheet tool, in the cloud, on Google servers, instant response, no need to save anything ever (does it for you).

It has all the spreadsheet bells and whistles. I use it to calculate my numbers, and just leave it open all the time. Whenever I need to update my budgeting, I just hit that tab, put in my new number and everything auto-calculates in real time.

Plus it integrates with everything, of course. I know people who use it as a full fledged CRM. I've heard of another guy who runs a 10 million dollar business using Google Sheets as his core tracking tool.

It is definitely a tool that falls in the category of "if it works, don't migrate".

I am sure I am only skimming the tool of all the powers of this tool.

Cons: They changed the chrome tap icon last week. LOL. Not a downside, but it did confuse me for a minute.

Overall: This allows me to keep all my numbers calculated with zero latency.

Saves me hours per day literally.

Pros: Google sheets is not as deep as Excel, but let's face it, it doesn't need to be: It's free and you can create sheets from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. Microsoft can't beat that since they charge for their Office 365, plus with Google Sheets you have the whole collaboration cloud service with Docs, Gdrive and Gmail. So in essence, you can create sheets for free, "cloud them", share/edit them with other contacts, and easily send them over email. What's more, Google Sheets can open Microsoft Excel files as well! I love using it primarily when I want to share a table/sheet with someone, or when a couple of us are working on the same sheet.

Cons: No cons at all. It's a free software that offers a lot things.

Overall: We always compare Sheets with Excel, but we shouldn't. Although both apps primarily serve for sheet/table creation, their purposes are different. Sheets are here as lightweight, mobile/cloud app that you can access from anywhere and share with everyone. And more importantly, they are free and part of the Google cloud armada.

Pros: With Google Sheets, I can access all of my sheets if I have access to wifi or on my phone. It has all of the basic features I need to do basic statistical analysis or to keep track of data. With extensions, Sheets allows me to easily take the data from Google Forms and transfer it into a Google Doc template which saves a lot of time. I also enjoy that I can share the files out directly instead of uploading them and having to have others download a file.

Cons: For heavy statistical analysis, another program may be needed.

Overall: I use Google Sheets for many different personal and work related activities. For work, I use Sheets to keep track of reading data for four buildings along with my caseload. It easily allows me to share the information with teachers and principals. I mostly use it as a step between Google Forms and Google Docs. With extensions, Sheets can automatically put the data I collect into a Doc template and can automatically be shared to key people. I also use it for coaching to keep track of attendance, fees, skills, etc. Lastly, it's easy to use and access for personal reasons such as budget, recipes, etc.

Pros: It is great that you can use it everywhere and that you can also use it offline. It will update your sheets once you come back online. It's got easy to use menus where you can find what you need and you can copy and paste formulas throughout the whole sheet, if necessary. It's great that you can make a sticky line, like you can do in Excel, even on your phone. Everything you type is updated to your Google Docs account straight away and is accessible everywhere you go.

Cons: What I dislike is that you can't use all the features that are available in Excel. For example, a lot of things aren't automated in Sheets and you can't let it fill in today's date automatically. There are also some advanced features that not many people will use but are still useful that Sheets still doesn't have, like for example analyzing statistics. There are also a lot of formulas that Google Sheets doesn't have that are available in Excel.

Another thing I don't like is that you can't use some features on mobile that you can use on a PC, like colour coding fields automatically.

Overall: I can use this software on the go. I absolutely love that it is anywhere and everywhere and that it saves automatically.

Pros: In regular office set of works we used to work with spreadsheets. They are almost mandatory in every area in the world. However, technology disadvantage that didn't allow online share were always a problem. Even though market knows many solution, you could not find any of them that allowed orchestrated collaboration with active sheet. Google Sheets allows it very simply. All documents are online, you can use free version, as well as corporate version, depending of your needs. They can easily be integrated with other Google products, as well as with other apps using APIs.

Cons: It still lacks a lot of functionalities that can be found in MS Office package, that he most users are used to. Some of details are not polished enough to the measure where you can achieve full compatibility of the MS Excel documents, including formula fund.

Overall: It allowed my organisation to raise collaboration on the next level, and easily integrate our sheets to different business areas. Nowadays, I doubt we could work and collaborate without it.

Pros: I love that I can use Google sheets to crunch numbers and create data sets that my team can access and collaborate on anytime, anywhere in the world. Google's answer to excel provides all the functionality of a spreadsheet for its users, in the cloud. With cross-sheet functionality, a wide-spread of functions enabling users to create a wide variety of formulas that allows its users to collaborate and create unique data sets for any purpose they need. Google sheets also hosts a great community of people in the forums that use the software and helps users create sheets that perform as they desire.

Cons: Google Product support is limited to community forums unless you are an administrator. The community forums are very helpful and will help you accomplish whatever task you need but you won't get one-on-one support as you might with other products.

Overall: Online collaboration, mobile access, and an unbelievable community of users to help crunch data, create dashboards and analyze data in a functional tool that makes work easier.

Pros: Google Sheets' functionality has improved dramatically the last five years. It can handle fairly large datasets. It connects readily to Google Data Studio for easy dashboard / visualization building. Functions are very similar to Microsoft Excel, so knowing one will lend itself to others. Easy to find plugins and resources to automate different projects (like scraping data or performing repeated analyses). Pivot tables, vlookups, and simple dashboard building are all Google Sheets capabilities. Finally, being able to share and collaborate on shared Sheets is a godsend for team projects: Sheets can be saved to Google Drive and distributed for other people to work on. Exports to standard file format (xlsx, csv) which is great.

Cons: Some commands are counter-intuitive and require delving into the Google community to figure out. Simultaneous updating / version control can be dicey, especially if working on a team - so take care to ensure you don't inadvertently overwrite your coworkers' progress.

Overall: I regularly use Google Sheets for exploratory data analysis (basic stats and bar charts, anything more and I move to Jupyter or Excel). I frequently use Google Sheets to quickly mock-up dashboards in Google Data Studio, and am consistently impressed and surprised by Google Sheets' functionality and reliability. Sharing documents with coworkers is easy, and files are centrally stored on my Google Drive.

Pros: I appreciate how simple Google Sheets is to navigate for people with different levels of exposure to this type of technology. It is very user friendly. What our team values the most is its ability to have numerous people working on the document at the same time. It automatically saves new data and allows everyone on the team access to updated info at the same time! This is a life saver for our team, as we do not have an internal database able to do this for us. Until then, Google docs, Sheets and Forms are our best bet!

Cons: There has been some feedback from Excel spreadsheet gurus that certain functions do not translate into Google sheets, and we are not able to transpose settings from an Excel spreadsheet straight into a Google Sheet. That means, if something was created in Excel, we essentially have to reinvent the wheel to get it into Google Sheets as a shareable format. However, I consider it a small price to pay for all of the benefits our team gets out of Google Sheets.

Pros: *Google Sheets allows data to be shared real-time without emailing a file back and forth.

*Two people can be working on the same spreadsheet at the same time. Awesome!

*Works very similar to popular spreadsheet software, and is intuitive to use. The main difference I have encountered is it is in the cloud.

*Google sheets had a forms feature that creates questions in a nice online form and dumps the data into a spreadsheet for further editing and review.

Cons: *People who are not familiar with Google Sheets have a hard time figuring out the file-sharing part of it. It isn't super intuitive and an untrained person may accidentally make sensitive data public. People need to understand this functionality first.

*I haven't figure out how to easily print and or use a Google Sheet to mail merge from the cloud without downloading it first. It may be a feature, but I am more comfortable with those functions when the file is actually on my computer.

*Some of the formula features function differently than what I am used to on my desktop, which creates a little learning curve and more clicks.

*If you have bad internet, then it doesn't work well.

Overall: Allows team members and clients to be able to share information and work on the same spreadsheet remotely without confusing efforts of sending files back and forth.

Allows us to set up an online Form and gather data into a single spreadsheet.

Pros: As it is free cloud based solution,we can access to sheets from anywhere at anytime and it will be real time updated .So even if we have a power failure or any other issue to access to the sheet ,it will be saved with recent updates in the sheet and we can easily move forward with that section. There are features such as add comment to the sheet , view sheet history ,restore spreadsheet versions and can share spreadsheets among co-workers and get their contribution to spreadsheets as well as.There are very useful templates which we can use to get our work done in less time.

Cons: Sometimes fonts in spreadsheets may different in the exported file of spreadsheet and also sometimes if i want to add a picture to the spreadsheet it will be difficult task to manage it on the spreadsheet. As a cloud based solution it will depend on the our network connection strength.Other than those cons, i did not find any other cons in the Google Sheets.

Pros: * You don't need any software, just your browser

* Accessible everywhere where you have internet; can also work offline

* All-you-need features

Cons: * Google knows your data and can use it to target ads

* Your data might become public as the worst case

Overall: I'd been using Excel/Open Office for quite a long time, not because they are a de-facto business spreadsheet standards, but for some personal cases as well. For example, I kept my personal finance file in Excel, because I don't need any robust calculations, rather some simple debit-credit stuff. However, the longer I used Excel the more unhappy I was. First of all, it's a paid software, second, it's very bloated with features and functionality. I had to wait a few min while Excel was loading to make a quick update in my file. So recently I migrated my data to google sheet and have been quite satisfied since then. I can access my data from any computer in the world, it's quick and easy, and it has all the features I need. I fully understand that Google most probably can view my data for targeting reasons, but that's the price you pay for convenience. If you don't have *extremely* sensitive data, I'd highly suggest trying Google sheets.

Pros: Here are all the things I absolutely love about Google Sheets (and also why I will never go back to Excel)

- You can easily share and collaborate on any documents. You can also update simultaneously while someone else is working on the document.

- No need to save your work. It automatically saves!

- The offline mode allows you to literally work from anywhere (even on plane that doesn't have wifi)

- It is super easy to use (way easier than Excel)

- You can access your documents on the go through the Google Sheet app (you can also edit on the app)

Cons: The only disadvantage is that if you want to have offline access to a certain document, you have to download it ahead of time. I made the mistake not to download a document prior to a flight that didn't have wifi and couldn't do any work. Such a bummer. It is also difficult to locate the offline mode.

Overall: I have been using this tool for over 4 years now and absolutely love it! I use it for both professional and personal projects.

Pros: First of all, Google Sheets if FREE! Long gone are the days of updating licenses and paying for new versions for the other spreadsheet giant that paved the way. Sheets has taken everything great about Excel and improved upon it without charging us a dime.

Being able to create, edit and share spreadsheets with colleagues on the fly is insanely useful. In my office, we share a few spreadsheets, and I can see who made updates and changes, share the documents with new users, and even export to Excel if needed.

Cons: It was difficult to get used to the subtle differences between this and Excel. Some of the equations took some research to figure out.

Exporting a spreadsheet to PDF from a mobile was difficult to figure out, and I ultimately had to do so from my laptop, which was frustrating.

Overall: This free spreadsheet software is already taking over its predecessor, and Google's support and integration with the rest of their G Suite apps makes it one of the most powerful tools on the web. And it's free.

Pros: Very easy to use and has great features. I love that I can create a spreadsheet and share it with others and even edit the type of interaction they can have (view only, edit, etc). We regularly use it throughout the office for data that we need to update often and that crosses departments. It also makes viewing spreadsheets easier since anyone can open it without having to download additional software. They also offer templates you can use for spreadsheets.

Cons: It's a little harder to use and understand for more complex formulas. I was trying to convert data I had uploaded and just couldn't get it to format properly because the formula I eventually had to use was insanely convoluted and complex. Barring those extremely rare instances, however, there are really very little negatives with this software.

Overall: I love Google Sheets. We use it quite often in the office and it's my go to for creating spreadsheets. We have never had any issues with it or using it and you can't beat the price: free!

Pros: Obviously the simultaneous editing and cloud availability are the biggest perks. Being able to manage and edit spreadsheets from anywhere on any device is a major part of the appeal of this service.

Aside from that, the formula entry tools are clear and facilitate an easier understanding of where you might be making mistakes or how formulae work. It's a nice change of pace from excel.

Cons: Transitioning from heavy excel use at work has made the lack of certain functionalities and shortcuts frustrating. It's more onerous to delete or hide columns, for instance, in a browser-based system where those shortcuts are already accounted for. I understand that there's a way to change this, but altering the settings in sheets is challenging and not user-friendly.

Overall: Having used Google Sheets for both business and personal tasks, it's a flexible and powerful tool for collaborative, cloud-based spreadsheet work. Improving the breadth of functionality and making shortcuts more easily implementable would be a major boon.

Pros: I use Google Sheets all the time for my budgets as well as student check lists. I love the added feature of the check box because I use this when my students turn in their work. It is easy to set up a sheet to track this information. I feel Google Sheets is comparable to Microsoft Excel in the way I use it. I have almost completely transitioned over to Google Sheets because it is easy to share with co-workers and functional for my spread sheet needs.

Cons: In comparing to Microsoft Excel, I wish Google Sheets would allow me to completely color the sheet tabs at the bottom of the sheet. It sounds like a lame complaint, but I like the organization of the solid color tabs verses the small color line that Sheets has right now. This is definitely not a reason to not use the program because it's pros far out weigh this con.

Overall: I use this daily and I love the software. It is easy to share and collaborate with co-workers. It is easy to organize and build quality spread sheets.

Pros: Unlike with other Project management tools like Excel, Google Sheets is accessible anytime, at any location, provided one is under constant Internet connection. This means, Google Sheets is mobile, and the user can have its access. Again, the security of the projects stored in this platform is on point, and therefore, no person who can gain their access. Lastly, installing/implementing Google Sheets is an easy encounter, and the Google support team always offer the required assistance.

Cons: However, Google Sheets lacks adequate features like Excel, which makes it inadequate in solving most of the business needs. Again, the design (user) of Google Sheets is not that much interesting or friendly, and this limits desire for people to install it. Lastly, Google Sheets is not yet stable, compared to other project management tools. For instance, it lacks automatic backup procedures, and this means, in case of a breakage, the user can lose their documents or information.

Overall: Google Sheets assists us in project management and computation. It also gives us accessibility in any place we want, as it is mobile. The product is so easy to use.

Pros: Google sheets is one of the best free tool i ever try. It's a basic fo Any Business. I really like to use this tool on my smartphone because i can open my document anytime and anywhere. Cons: As a free software, absolutely I can expact more. It's a bit too generic and basic software for basic document's. I can't find any PRO features to make complex document's. So for my complex work, Google Sheets can't compared with Excel, It's made just for simple and fast documet's
