### "Google Sheets - We Use Them Everyday!"

April 24, 2025

4.0

We use Google Sheets everyday in our agency, constantly creating and sharing files with our teams. Our reporting software generates analytics and metrics tied back to raw data from Google Sheets as well.

Pros

Google Sheets is essentially the online/mobile version of Excel and I can essentially add data, formulas, and graphs/charts in Google Sheets similarly to Excel.

Cons

It appears there are not as "many" Excel-like features in Google Sheets as there are in the actual Excel program, and it can be difficult to locate which tool or function you need to complete your tasks.

### "Free Excel equivalent, top tier spreadsheet system!"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Pros

Like Excel, but don't want to pay for all that? Google gives you the free version and is full of easy to use features in a user-friendly system. Calculations and formulas are super easy and lots of built-in templates for everything.

Cons

It's not \*quite\* as robust as Excel, but it's still awesome. Sometimes it feels like "excel lite" and can seem like it can't do everything the same (but it does, mostly)

### "Cant Beat Free"

April 30, 2026

Been amazing - been using it for the last 15 years at least, and it has yet to let me down in a major way.

Pros

Amazing product, free, easy to use, tons of temaples, formula calculations when you need them, great user interface, and solid for team collaboration. Googles customer support is great!

Cons

It can be hard to create complex functions in Google Sheets like you would in excel, and sometimes things fail with no warning

### "Data processing that ties nicely into other GSuite tools"

July 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, Google sheets is our offices' preferred data processing and visualization platform. We use it daily and are thrilled with its performance overall.

Pros

I love that google sheets is tied into the google business suite. This gives us the ability to quickly/easily cross-communicate between tools.

Cons

I grew up on Excel, and while much of the functionality is the same, there is a learning curve if you are cutting over to Sheets.

### "Better Than Excel. "

October 27, 2025

5.0

Overall, I now prefer Google Sheets over Excel. The ability to share and realtime edit in a collaborative manner is what is the biggest separator.

Pros

Its extremely intuitive. Most data programs like this are very user entry heavy, meaning it doesnt learn as much until the data is entered. With Google Sheets, it allows for more suggested data formulas than others. Other programs don't often do this.

Cons

Sharing ability to those outside of your organization can be tricky and confusing. It sometimes requires multiple steps to allow others to view and edit documents in a much longer time than wanted.

### "Best Tool as a Business Owner"

May 23, 2025

It is really reliable and easy to use, less intimidating unlike other platforms, it is less daunting and straight forward.

Pros

I can manage all of the data I need fo research, I can easily use the templates readily available for things such as schedules and expense list.

Cons

I am hoping for more templates that I can use especially when it comes to inventory since I am using it for my business.

### "Straightforward to use"

February 28, 2026

5.0

Pros

collaborating on documents is easy. I like that everything is stored in the cloud, and is quite straightforward to use if you're familiar with excel. I also like how it can link to google forms. Plus, it is free.

Cons

There is a learning curve if you want to make full use of all the functionalities, like formula. But other than that, simple calculations are straightforward.

### "Google Sheets - A Great Solution!"

May 21, 2026

5.0

Pros

Google Sheets is my go to platform for organizing data, using formulas to calculate data, and having great templates for many uses. Google Sheets also has a great easy to use user interface and easy access to collaboration. Excellent value at a low price point!

Cons

What I liked least about Google Sheets is that the customer support is at times difficult to reach regarding some issues.

### "A Strong Spreadsheet Tool for Collaborative Work"

February 5, 2026

great, mainly because of the seamless collaboration and sharing, allowing teams to edit, comment, and track changes in real time.

Pros

I really liked the smart suggestions, especially how Sheets recommends formulas and charts and automatically detects patterns to save time.

Cons

The main drawback was the limited offline functionality, as some features and real-time updates are unavailable without an internet connection

### "Covers most of your spreadsheet needs, with great collaboration and lots of flexibility."

March 17, 2025

5.0

Overall Google Sheets is easy to use, it's intuitive and it has all the standard spreadsheet feature you need. The flexibility you get from a web based tool far outweighs the lack of specific features. The collaborative features are another huge benefit. It's such a great tool!

Pros

I love having a lightweight yet powerful spreadsheet app available at any time, from anywhere.

Cons

It doesn't handle large files very well. I often work with 20k rows and more, and Google Sheets doesn't support such big files. It also doesn't support the full range of formatting options that you might find in Excel or Libre Office, but for most usage it's not enough to stop me from using Google Sheets.

Pros

I love that it is web based and most of the same functions as excel. It’s also easy to import and export docs

Cons

### "I use it for everything as an Operations Manager"

April 21, 2025

5.0

Google Sheets is a super handy tool for organizing data, whether you're tracking a budget, managing a project, or planning a trip. Since it’s cloud-based, you can access your spreadsheets from pretty much anywhere.

Pros

The best part is how easy it is to collaborate—multiple people can work on the same sheet at once without any confusion. Plus, it saves automatically, so you don’t have to worry about losing your progress.

Cons

t’s not quite as powerful as Excel when it comes to advanced features like complex macros or heavy data analysis. And if your sheet gets too big or has a lot of formulas, it can slow down a bit.

### "Shared spreadsheets for production and inventory."

September 12, 2025

5.0

We followed BOMs, WIPs, and downtimes in a single location, created dashboards that alerted bottlenecks, and standardized handoffs so supervisors, planners, and finance all functioned off the same numbers without needing to follow files behind them.

Pros

Templates, pivot tables, and a wide function set enable the team to model capacity, demand, and yields easily, while version history, comments, and access controls ensure that production, QA, maintenance, and procurement stay in sync in one live spreadsheet.

Cons

Big sheets can freeze, and shared permissions must be established with care so that broken links, duplicates, or monthly rollup overwrites do not occur.

### "A great free resources"

March 8, 2026

5.0

Easy to use on desktop and mobile. I use Google Sheets to keep a list of the books I read and packing lists by holiday type (e.g. for hiking, warmer climates or winter breaks). It's very easy to edit these lists from mobile.

Pros

Recently I have used Google Sheets to write a script to give me a weekly report of relevant UK company filings - a huge saving of time vs doing this manually. Gemini helped to write the script - and the whole process was free of charge.

Cons

I see Sheets as a lite version of Microsoft Excel - it is less scalable and practical than Excel - I prefer a desktop application (for full offline working from time to time), which Sheets does not have.

### "A Powerful, Collaborative Spreadsheet Tool"

July 10, 2025

5.0

It has become my go-to spreadsheet tool for both personal and professional use, and it's easy to see why. It's fast, intuitive, and—best of all—completely cloud-based, which means I can access my data from anywhere, on any device.

Pros

Multiple users can edit a document simultaneously, and changes are instantly visible to everyone. The built-in comment and version history tools make it incredibly easy to track edits and communicate with teammates without leaving the spreadsheet.

Cons

Google Sheets can slow down or become unresponsive with very large spreadsheets (generally over 10 million cells or complex calculations). For heavy-duty data analysis, Excel or database software may be more suitable.

### "Highly recommend! 5 stars!"

August 17, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Google Sheets is positive. The simplicity, accessibility, and templates make it easy to get started. Real-time collaboration definitely is the highlight.

Pros

I liked that this product only requires a Google account and it works on any device with Internet. My favorite feature that there is no need to save files manually, everything is stored in Google Drive.

Cons

In my opinion, the cons are that best performance and collaboration require a stable connection, and that Google Sheets works best when paired with other Google tools; less flexible with non-Google software.

### "My using of google sheets "

November 19, 2025

4.0

I really like using Google Sheets, for a simple document or a simple workbook, Google Sheets does the job perfectly.

Pros

I really like the fact that we can easily share our documents. Everybody can have the same document and can work on it at the same time. Moreover, you can put your document on a drive that you can share too.

Cons

There are some functionalities that Google Sheets doesn't have, like macros that you can have on Excel. Sometimes when your Google Sheet document tends to be too large or too complex, Google Sheets can no longer support it.

### "Best online spreadsheet for mutiple users"

February 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, I had a great experience with Google Sheets for analysing a small dataset; the tools and functions are very user-friendly.

Pros

I like how easy it is to share Google Sheets with many users, so everyone can work and see on the same page in real-time. The built-in tools for custom tables, formulas, and auto-sum features are also very handy.

Cons

The application becomes laggy and slower in performance if you have a few hundred thousand or more rows on one sheet. The rows/columns are more limited compared to desktop MS Excel.

### "Google Sheets, yes please"

November 24, 2025

3.0

So far, all right. I am in google sheets working and my team members can see it in real time. We can update the sheet without having to update each other.

Pros

Easy to share with your team. I can make a Google Sheet, and you can see it in real time when people are using it.

Cons

Hard to download and convert to Excel. Sometimes, I really need it to convert to Excel if the person I am sending it to does not use Google Sheets.

### "Google Sheet is GRRREAT!"

July 3, 2025

5.0

I love it - I literally use the tool on my Mac, iPad, and occasionally on my iPhone. It's my go-to solution for storing and viewing data.

Pros

Super easy to use and find functions for various projects. Its a tool every student to business professional should have in their tech toolbox.

Cons

The only issue I faced was with Conditional Formatting - You can ONLY refer to other tabs using the INDIRECT() function. I would not work until I learn that tip.

### "The Premier Collaborative Spreadsheet Choice"

June 1, 2025

5.0

Google sheets has been, and will continue to be, my top choice in spreadsheet collaboration due to the simplicity of its use, and the ever growing Google AI capabilities that make the input and organization of data a breeze.

Pros

Google sheets is by far the superior platform for spreadsheet collaboration with a work from home team. What makes the platform even better is its seamless integration with other products in the Google Suite. Being able to transfer living charts from Sheets to Slides and Docs is an incredible feature that I use daily.

Cons

There is currently no ability to rotate the data on pie charts that you can generate from data fields. This is an incredibly irritating missing feature when a team requests the chart to be rotated and I have to explain that Google hasn't implemented the feature.
