November 28, 2017 5.0 It's as great as you make it- a true sandbox. If you don't lean into using this as a methodology for organization and continual reminder of values/priorities, it won't do what it is meant to do. It's most untapped features are high level goal and priority visualization- a beautiful suite of dashboard tools which highlight both task progress and value alignment that is perfect for C-level planning and PMs... if you're willing to lean into the real crunch of the tool and the efficient but incomplete nature of true team agility. Pros It's meant to be sleek and individually good to use- and does that very well. It fast enough to change and add tasks. Most importantly: you're constantly reminded of Values and Priorities, so you're less likely to be distracted with low-impact tasks. As an Emotional Intelligence Coach who's a Tech COO, the fact that I can reward and reinforce my team with little congrats and high fives is simple but really powerful- especially when I see them sticking to priority tasks, showing great situation awareness. We are a more positive and enthusiastic organization thanks to ResultMaps -- especially the 90 second practice feature. Pros There is incredible flexibility with this system and it can capture everything that is going on in your business. You can implement it at any level of intensity based on the needs of your organization, from managing a couple weekly meetings and a to-do list to keeping track of complex projects that intersect all over the organization. My favorite feature is the daily check in to track wins in your organization -- this has done great things for our momentum. Cons The system is very capable and it is easy to fall into the trap of trying to use it for too much. If I could do it over again I think I would have slowed our implementation pace. I honestly don't know what I would do without it! Pros Result Maps allows you to do more and less time by keeping your team focused on the tasks the drive performance! This is been a game changer in building a software startup where I am managing multiple remote employees while balancing tight deadlines and demanding expectations. The platform is easy to use and help shape the daily and weekly cadence of the business! I am in the software daily as it is my One Stop Shop to ensure that my business is driving toward success! February 24, 2022 5.0 The whole ResultMaps team has been wonderful through our transition. The team is quick to respond to inquires and keeps us in the loop when updates are coming. Pros The ease upon which ResultMaps integrated into our EOS structure. It provides us both the structure needed but also the ability to adjust for differences in different departments. It also doesn't silo our different departments, rather helps us see how dependent each of our departments are on one another, and celebrate our joint successes. Cons As with any transition some things are laid out differently than what was being used before. Not really a con, but just a new way to access things took a little getting used to, however, it seems all team members picked it up quickly as it is very user friendly. Instead of having to manually navigate the balance between the two, ResultMaps makes it easy to power your day to day with the bigger picture vision which instantly makes every action and deliverable more efficient for my team. August 4, 2017 5.0 Focus and clarity on how various aspects of my business (mission/vision/objectives, etc...) fit together. Pros ResultMaps clearly maps the relationship from the mission and vision all the way down to daily tasks. By creating a visual relationship that extends from the vision statement all the way down, ResultMaps allows us to focus more on efforts that map to our objectives, then identify and say no to activities that don't. If your business is defined by the objectives you set forward in your mission/vision and filter through your values and objectives, then ResultMaps is the tool that keeps everything you do in the proper context. I also appreciate the reminders that help me stay on track and prioritize tasks. The daily summary is perfect for making sure the most important tasks stay at the top. Cons Mapping your business in this way pays huge dividends but takes some time and effort and at times I have to hunt a little bit to jump from the screen I'm on to another specific screen I want to get to. However, as I've used the system more, that has become less of an issue. Integrates well with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc). Love how easy it is to use as a task list that I can drag and drop to align with larger projects.
