Pros I canned an advertising agency and starting producing our own videos for a fraction of the cost - and get a better product. Cons I don't know that there is anything I would consider a negative. It has seriously impressed so many clients especially when it comes to the social elements. That is something they would usually have to provide to us, and now I just show them the Waymark spec spot and they prefer the Waymark to what they had created. Pros I love how easy and user friendly Waymark is to use. If you don't have the client's elements, you create a spot just by typing in their business name and location and it will create the spot for you by scanning the web for data. Before the video is completed, you can preview and make any final changes, share the link and you are good to go! Cons The only feedback that I would like to see in the future is the ability to select where I can voice over. sometimes I only want an intro/outro for a voiceover, the way it is currently set up, I have to record it as a whole, it would be nice to drop voice notes in during specific spots. Pros Waymark saves me tons of time and money with their pre-made templates. I wouldn't even know where to start without them! You don't have to be an Adobe Premiere, After Effects, AND Audition wizard to crank-out professional grade video content. Cons The purchase to download process is clunky and could use some refinement. I wish that once I purchased a video within the platform, I could make edits without any time limit. But, Waymark is continually adding new features and upgrades, so it's not a deal breaker or anything. Pros Provides loads of template options that provide a quick path to a completed commercial. This allows me to use Waymark as a spec tool and finished commercial tool. I will not use this company again. Pros The pre-done video templates are outstanding and super easy to edit. It is the best video software on the market. Cons I made several purchases. Prior to purchasing the videos, I asked their support person if there was any limitation to editing the videos. I was told no. You are able to edit the videos as often as you like. Therefore, I went ahead and made the purchase. At a later time, I went in to change a couple of minor things in the video I purchased and went to render it and was taken to a screen where it said I have to purchase it. I called their company and was told they had changed their policy and if I bought their yearly plan I would get two new credits (videos) a month plus I could edit my previous bought videos then I was told before doing this I only had 30 days to edit any video bought so basically the video I purchased was basically useless unless I was willing to pay the edits. Lastly, the latest change is you only have 7 days to edit your videos and then you have to basically pay for a new one if you want to edit it. Furthermore, nowhere on their purchase page does it state anything about how often you can edit your videos once purchased. This really turned me off. Ford did away with the partnership about a year later, but I stayed on for about another year. Just this month I cancelled them because I didn't see fresh templates that interested me. Pros I like that I can make quick 6 second videos, or 30 second ones. It is a lifesaver for those who know nothing about making videos. I like that unused credits roll over. I believe that Waymark is priced well and is well-suited to the mom-and-pop business owners who need creative media, but don't want to hire a video team. Pros Waymark provides non-creative/non-technical business owners the tools to make spectacular creative videos for their brand. The ease of use and the instant feedback to see the video rendered was amazing to me. Cons I do think that the templates provided are limited to certain types of businesses. Pros The best part of Waymark is it's ease of use. With all your assets and information ready, you could have a media production quality video in less than 5 mins! Speaking of which, the quality of the videos are unlike any software I have used previously. Many video apps feature templates that lack a sense of professionalism and direction. Waymark on the other hand stands above the rest. I didn't realize it at first, but every video template I have used, is a well designed package of excellent video direction, design, and audio. All elements make this a superb addition to your marketing stack. Also, their music is top notch, using fully licensed tracks and none of that low quality mp3 music from 2000 we are accustomed to hearing. Love the Keystrokes music! It is fun and easy to create. I would use it more if there were more selection. Pros The thing I like best about the software is that you can continue editing your video until it is the way you want it. Cons The biggest drawback I found with this software is that there are not very many videos that suit my type of business. We have a non-medical home care agency, so it would be great to have some videos with multigenerational images of people who are enjoying time together or laughing, home-like settings, happy families. I was able to find a template that worked with my needs and the specs were just right. I was able to see the TV Ad feature that came out because it was great timing when I needed it. I would like to see more TV templates and a stronger music library. Pros It is easy to create a video. You select which video template you like and go from there. You have to play all the videos to find the right one. They do have some nice layouts. Cons The music selection is not great. I wish there was a better music library. Also, depending on the template you work with you are locked that to music choice. It would be nice to have a general music library vs a couple of songs connected to the template. It takes a bit to figure out how to use the site once you select a template. They would not refund my money after 15 minutes of purchase really?
