The platform took some getting used to at first. Overall, it seems to have more benefits than we initially expected. The company is very willing to adapt to your needs.

Pros

The platform is straightforward to learn.

Cons

There are many options, but not everyone will use every one.

Overall experience is great. For someone who is not tech savvy, this system is very user friendly. Very easy to setup trainings and assign policies. Easy to navigate through system. Customer service with \[sensitive content hidden\] is great.

Pros

Side by side comparison when viewing policies. Setting recurrence patterns for training. Easy to view and find policies. Policy history record. Customer service is fantastic specifically \[sensitive content hidden\]. She is always so friendly and always available to assist me and answer all my questions.

Cons

No complaints. System fits the needs of our department with no issues so far.

We have had a great experience and any issue (mostly operator error) that we have had has been quickly addressed.

Pros

The software is very user friendly for our members to review policies.

Cons

The smart phone application. Our members from time to time experience issues not being able to review or open up policies on the application.

We chose PM AM because of the price, it was user friendly, and the Massachusetts Police Accreditation standards were loaded on PM AM.

I was really not a computer person....so afraid that this would be really above my pay grade. But over time I figured it out and became pretty efficient.

Pros

At first the computer program might seem tough but as you enter the system- it is self-explanatory. I have made several errors and by going back and changing the way I entered the policy and it worked!! Also, the customer service person (Megan) was helpful if I couldn't figure it out.

Cons

I wish that it had a built in NON-FUNCTION. It could just be entered as a non- functioning part of your audit instead of typing Memo to file.....None function blah blah blah.

We are using the software for accreditation for our police department

Pros

PMAM HCM software streamlined our accreditation process and took us from a self evaluation process that was nearly 15 years to fully prepared for our assessment in a period of 6 months. The ease of loading, linking, outlining and updating policies to our standards was paramount in our efforts to meet our accreditation needs. We were astonished with capabilities of the distribution of our policies to our employees creating and documenting, in digital format, compliance data that surpassed our previous policy software program. The ability to create training and testing content and able to link that directly into our accreditation standards to provide proof of attendance, again, digitally, saved us countless hours of time. Currently, I am creating "forms" in the system, which will provide us with automatic year end performance statistics that will save us even more time.

Cons

It could improve ease of use for the end user as it is difficult for our officers to locate the policies using an outdated search engine and homepage. It is my understanding that these features are soon to be updated!

Cons

I would like to be able to highlight PDFs once they are uploaded especially as proofs instead of having to do it before hand. Sometimes there some I find that need to be done once they are uploaded.

Pros

The program greatly reduced the amount of paperwork and the need to store documents in a hard copy form. I am able to issue a policy or directive to my officers and track its status all from my computer. There is no longer a need to keep asking employees to finish a required task; it is done for me by the system.

Cons

For me the biggest con was the need to learn another program. I’m not the most savvy computer person but the support staff at PMAM was very helpful and was able to assist me through the entire process.

Overall this has been a pretty easy transition. It has also been easy to get a hold of staff if/when questions arise.

Pros

I am new to my current police department. I came from another agency that used Power DMS for approximately 10 years. As a new user, your staff was great to work with. They walked me through several areas to help me get started and feel comfortable with the product.

Cons

I still find it a little confusing to modify/disseminate policies.

Excellent customer support, I have been dealing with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]and she has been extremally helpful and if she can't figure out my question she gets right back to me with and answer. Their online zoom calendar allows us to schedule a quick 20 min zoom call, allowing me to share screen and get right to the issue quickly.

Pros

Assisting our department to get accredited and POST compliant in Massachusetts. Excellent for keeping track of policy management needs, training videos, etc.

Cons

Like any new software, there is a learning curb in getting familiar with some features

Positive thus far. Customer support has been fantastic and very responsive if there has been an issue. In general, this software helps us maintain compliance with State Certification.

Pros

The most useful aspect of this software is the ability to generate a PDF report of a certain training that includes the link to the actual document or test that the employee reviewed. This is very helpful for compliance and proof of receipt of various items, both for admin or HR purposes.

Cons

There are some bugs and some of the features are not clearly flushed out. There are some resources and videos to help explain how things work but these could use some improvements.

I find it to be a must for any agency, particularly those agencies that are accredited. I'm beside myself as to how close their reps are to our employees.

Pros

Puts all of our training, policies and accreditation processes in one easy to reach place.

Cons

Some features are a bit difficult to figure out/navigate although the company is very responsive to any requests for change are made. PMAM have been working diligently to make the software more user friendly.

Overall, we have had a positive experience and we were able to upload and assigned all policies, forms, manuals, and other documents with ease. The support team is responsive and willing to make updates and address any issues.

Pros

PMAM allows us to easily upload policies and make modifications within the platform. Any changes are tracked and easily identifiable for users. The system integrates with current MPAC standards, and allows auditing of the agency accreditation compliance progress. We also the training module to assigned and track training completion as part of the proofs for agency accreditation.

Cons

The home page is not customizable and some users have difficulty with the font size.
