### "Excellent Open Source API Manager"

Pros

Fits our requirement around API lifecycle management including effective client apps onboarding and client SDK generation for client apps. Post-production support from the vendor (WSO2) was excellent.

Cons

We are using the API Cloud from WSO2 and there is no better visibility of log files as it was multi-tenanted. Message tracing and debugging was an issue for us.

Functionality and value for money.

Easy to deploy Very easy to get starting wirh publishing APIs

Cons

After using the software for some time I have concluded that it can be a bit of a nightmare to upgrade/patch

Reason for choosing WSO2 API Manager

Open source and with the possibility to have a support agreement.

Pros

The API Managment still really easy eand complety in API Managment 2.6.0

Cons

The integration between new API and Analytics (2.6.0) its not work fine after follow defautl stadnalone config.

I use this application to make public APIs to the external users who wants to use our services.

Pros

Its allow in docker hub also. We can easily provide our APIs to external users as secured public APIs.

Cons

This application still release new versions and once we configured with a server, it much hard to move with a new version with new features.

Pros

WSO2 API Manager is a freeware where you can create your own API Management server and make it available 24/7/365. And also has a dedicated market place as well.

Cons

It' s a bit complex to begin with and also when it comes to very specific use-cases you will be find hard it to integrate it whatever the solution you are working with.
