It is very efficient. Pros I had ton's of messaging software's and portals going at the same time, it is nice to have them all in the same place now. Pros It centralizes everything in one place for what we utilize on a daily basis. Cons It does nothing to improve the Gmail interface, which is atrocious. And there are many other mail clients that support multiple Gmail accounts \*and\* provide a much nicer interface. Cons It can be a bit buggy. I also wish that you could use your command keys on mac. Cons I think that it might interfere with my phone's notifications of new emails. They seem to be unreliably showing up on my phone's home screen. Pros I had a lot of trouble installing this software. Cons Shift is more difficult to get rid of than a virus. January 13, 2018 3.0 Pros Shift can switch not only mail but also calendar. In many other software, only mail is switched. I like this feature very much. Cons It does not work very well outside of Google's services. For other services login sessions disappear quickly, and too many tabs when trying to handle everything. The overall operation of the application is not very good either. It has setting items to turn off auto-launch but it does not work well. And it is very slow. Review Source MS Magdalena S. January 9, 2018 4.0 Pros Having a tool that allows me to have all of my Gmail accounts in one place is great. Love the simplicity of its design and how easy it is to organize. Cons The only thing that I've found so far that I find cumbersome is opening files from Google Drive. It opens them in the default browser which sometimes allows the file you are working on to get lost with web browsing. It would be nice it it kept it in the Shift window like the calendar. December 12, 2017 4.0 Pros The ability to search all inboxes, and to easily switch between different emails. If I don't remember if an email went directly to myself, or to the HR email, I can search at the top and it will come up right away! Cons The limitations on the free trial. A trial usually lets you use the full features for a certain amount of time. The design can be a bit confusing until you get used to what buttons to click and where they are. Pros Nice to have all most of my email addresses in one location rather than having to have multiple tabs open. Cons Logs me out of my accounts from time to time. Like I said in the cons list, it only allows you to add two email accounts, which I already have within Chrome. After I realized this, I uninstalled the software and moved on. Now, they send me an email every day asking me to "complete my payment," which is annoying considering I used the software for only a couple minutes before uninstalling it. Pros I like the idea of being able to organize my workspace Cons The free version only allows you to add two email accounts. You cannot add any other accounts and there is no trial period.
