Get out there and get moving without the worry with Race Entry! Pros Our company participated in the 2018 Panerathon. We had over 20 individuals requests to be on our team. Race entry made it easy to register our participants and more importantly, keep them organized with race length and start times! Cons Sometimes slow to load anda slight learning curve with a new service but that is to be expected. Cons I did not like that I was not able to sign up runners the day of after the race time. Our race was running a bit behind on time and people were still signing up past our start time and they had a difficult time signing up on the site. We have not gotten the request to sign people up after the event was scheduled but I can see why if there is a delay that would be useful. There are 2 possible solutions available for next year if this again becomes needed. The first option is you could use the add participant page in the dashboard (this option only allows staff to sign people up, so if you wanted the public to sign themselves up it may not be the best option). The other option is to simply adjust the event time in the software, so that it opens back up the form. The ability to give discounts, to fundraise, and to set up teams was very helpful. I appreciated the promptness of payment by Race Entry. The staff walked me through the set up process and demonstrated all of its features. If I had any questions, I could call or e-mail (and they were prompt with their response). Cons I can't think of any negatives. It was a good experience overall. I will be using them again next year. Instead of physically going somewhere to register for a race, I was able to do so online and save myself time. Cons There is a convenience charge when you register for a race using the software. Pros From registration until the race went off, everthing went through Race Entry. It made training for the race, working, and taking night classes a bit less stressful. It was my first and only experience and would hope to see it used in future races. Cons Customer was somewhat difficult. I had deleted my entry form by accident. I emailed them and was told I hadn't yet entered. After about 15 minutes the customer service representative realized that my last name was Morris and not Morrison. My rep was always eager to help, quick to respond and very encouraging. Our race doubled in size when we added Race Entry. Pros Race Entry Software was easy to set up, change, update and manage. Adding Race Entry to our event changed everything. Our runners have loved the ease of registration, and as the Admin of our account I appreciate the updates and available options for pulling information. Cons The absolute ONLY thing that I was frustrated with (and it was probably just something that I didn't know) was that when I changed the picture on my Marketing page to our logo, it made the background difficult to see/read. September 5, 2018 5.0 Race entry was one of the fastest and easiest thing for I have ever used for planning a race! It didn’t take me hours to figure out and the people who call you are amazing and respectful. You can’t do better than race entry so I’d recommend to all people who don’t have or don’t want to spend time on stressing out over this type of thing because race entry can help with no problem! Pros When you sign up to race entry they call you a day or two later and walk you through each step so if you have any questions they will answer them for you. The best thing ever is that if you forget to ask a question (I do every time) then you can call them back and they will answer them! Pros This is not a program that I use everyday but it is very simple. It's great that I don't have to relearn it every time I go to use it. Cons I would say they biggest con would be that it is a little high tech for some of our older employees to use. Pros It was very user friendly and SO helpful in keeping things organized. This was my first time planning a race and I really couldn't have done it without the software. I loved that you could change the category you were searching with ease (age, gender, etc). Cons Really nothing! A few of the more specialized features had a bigger learning curve (understandably so), but a little searching found me the answers/tools I needed each time.
