Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been highly positive. It stands out as a dependable and feature-rich solution that enables organizations to manage endpoints efficiently while maintaining strong security and operational control. The platform delivers significant value by consolidating critical IT management capabilities into a single interface, reducing complexity and improving productivity. Over time, it has proven to be a reliable cornerstone in maintaining system integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting seamless endpoint operations. With continued enhancements in usability and performance optimization, ManageEngine Endpoint Central is well-positioned to remain a leading solution in the endpoint management space and is certainly deserving of industry recognition.

Pros

What impressed me most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive, all-in-one approach to endpoint management. The platform seamlessly integrates key functionalities such as patch management, software deployment, asset tracking, and remote troubleshooting into a centralized dashboard. This significantly improves operational efficiency and reduces the need for multiple disparate tools. The automation capabilities are particularly noteworthy. Routine tasks such as patch updates and system maintenance can be scheduled and executed with minimal manual intervention, ensuring both consistency and compliance across the organization. Additionally, the reporting and analytics features provide clear visibility into endpoint health and security posture, enabling informed, data-driven decisions. The user interface is intuitive, making it accessible for both experienced administrators and teams that are scaling their IT operations. Its scalability and cross-platform support further strengthen its position as a robust enterprise solution.

Cons

While ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a powerful platform, there are areas where refinement could enhance the experience further. Initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complex, especially in larger or highly customized environments, and may require additional time and careful planning. Additionally, while the platform offers an extensive range of features, navigating some of the more advanced configurations can feel overwhelming without deeper documentation or guided workflows. Performance can occasionally be impacted when managing very large endpoint environments, particularly during intensive operations such as bulk deployments or large-scale updates. Enhancements in streamlining advanced settings and improving response times during peak operations would further elevate the overall user experience.

Overall, it's a great product that Centralised Control Enhances Operations with solid patch management and automated workflows.

Pros

Being visible on the endpoints makes them easy to manage and patch with an easy-to-use interface. The product comes with great customer support, and the deployment is also easy. Overall, a great value-for-money product for the organisation looking for a UEM solution.

Cons

I did not like the report and dashboard capabilities. I wish the platform could improve these capabilities to provide better insights and alerts. The DAX must be an integral part of Endpoint Central and not sold as a separate product.

Pros

Easy to deploy and lightweight agent Easy to integrate with the Zoho products e.g. ServiceDesk Plus.

Cons

To deploy many configurations without available in-place menu/options on the Endpoint Central, it has to be done via the registry key changes. Often I have to search for which keys are associated with my change to satisfy my requirements. It is a kind of trial and error process. It would be great if Endpoint Central can provide a knowledge base to save my time to deploy it.

My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. It has helped streamline endpoint management by providing a centralized platform for patch management, software deployment, remote support, asset management, and compliance monitoring. The automation capabilities have reduced manual effort and improved operational efficiency. The remote troubleshooting features are particularly useful for resolving user issues quickly and minimizing downtime. While there is room for improvement in certain areas such as advanced reporting, UI consistency, and some complex configurations, the platform remains a reliable and valuable tool for managing and securing endpoints across the organization.

Pros

As an IT Operations professional, I particularly value its remote management and patch deployment features, which help minimize downtime, ensure systems remain up to date, and enable faster resolution of end-user issues without requiring physical intervention. After using ManageEngine Endpoint Central tool, one will obviously feel it's value for money with a great customer support. Also I feel, it can be customized as per our need with a great ease of use.

Cons

While Endpoint Central is a powerful tool, some features can be complex to configure, and certain reports and patch management tasks could be more streamlined and user-friendly. Improvements in UI consistency and performance for large-scale deployments would further enhance the overall experience.

My overall experience about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is very positive. I myself use this for patch deployment and to do some live testing in the environment. Remote Control tool, Inventory tab is very much helpful as it gives all the required information and helps to take remote session of end machine very seamlessly. Overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central is very nice. I would highly recommend to use this if you want to make your day to day life very easy.

Pros

About ManageEngine Endpoint Central the most important thing i would like to highlight is it makes day to day life and tasks very easy and convenient. You can manage your endpoints from a single console. Its value for money. Patching tasks can be managed very easily, as deployment is done smoothly. Customers find it very supportive.

Cons

There are some bugs with the patches, like superseded patches shows under missing patches and sometimes customer gets confused about the patch deployment decision. Apart from this so far there are no negative points i have noticed and faced.
