My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. The platform provides a comprehensive solution for endpoint management, including patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, asset management, and compliance monitoring

Pros

The best feature of ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its centralized endpoint management and automation. It simplifies patching, software deployment, remote support, and asset management, making day-to-day IT operations more efficient and easier to manage

Cons

The least favorable aspect was the complexity of some advanced features and reporting options. While powerful, they can require a learning curve and occasional troubleshooting to achieve the desired results

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been very positive. I found it to be a reliable and cost-effective endpoint management solution that offers excellent value for money. The device configuration process is straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to deploy and manage endpoints efficiently. I was also particularly impressed with the device wiping functionality, which is simple to use and provides confidence that devices can be securely erased when required. Combined with its broad range of management features and ease of administration, it has been an effective solution for day-to-day IT operations.

Pros

What I liked most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central was its device management capabilities. I found it to be very intuitive and easy to navigate, making it straightforward to manage endpoints without a steep learning curve. The centralised dashboard made it simple to monitor device status, deploy software, push updates, and troubleshoot issues efficiently. I also appreciated how many day-to-day administration tasks could be completed from a single interface, which helped save time and improve productivity. Overall, its combination of ease of use, comprehensive management features, and clear interface made it an effective tool for managing devices across the organisation.

Cons

The main downside I experienced with ManageEngine Endpoint Central was that, on occasion, software updates introduced new issues or temporarily affected existing functionality. While this could be frustrating, I was impressed by how quickly the ManageEngine team responded. Patches and fixes were typically released in a timely manner, and any disruptions were generally short-lived. Although I would prefer updates to be more thoroughly tested before release, their responsive support and rapid turnaround helped maintain confidence in the product.

Overall, our experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been highly positive. Having a solution that can handle patch management, configurations, and general device management at scale without requiring a massive IT team is exactly what we needed, and Endpoint Central excels at this. It offers incredible value for money by replacing several disjointed tools with one unified console. Day-to-day tasks like automated patching and remote control are seamless. It also gives us peace of mind knowing that full lifecycle features like device wipe and security enforcement—are handled in one place. While there is a slight learning curve initially due to the menu layout, once you familiarize yourself with it, Endpoint Central becomes an absolutely indispensable tool for managing a large fleet of endpoints.

Pros

What I like most is the perfect balance of power and simplicity. Despite managing a massive number of devices, the interface remains incredibly clean and intuitive. The OS deployment feature is a huge standout—it takes what is usually a complex, tedious process and makes it simple enough to image and provision new machines at scale without needing a separate specialized tool. Additionally, having remote troubleshooting and configuration tools built directly into the same console saves us a massive amount of time day-to-day.

Cons

The only real drawback is the initial learning curve. When you first start using the platform, navigating the menus can be a bit frustrating because certain settings and configurations are tucked away in unexpected places. However, this is strictly a UI navigation issue; once you learn where everything is located, it ceases to be a problem.

My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central is very positive. I use Endpoint Central every day to support, and keep secure, our entire endpoint stack.

Pros

I like the ease of use and the myriad features that come with the platform. The RDP and patch management alone pays for the tool.

Cons

There is a fairly high learning curve when you first start out with the system. That being said, the folks at Endpoint Central are super helpful and will always take the time to ensure you get done what needs doing.

My overall experience has been positive. Endpoint Central offers a comprehensive set of endpoint management capabilities that are suitable for both small and large environments. During testing, I was able to manage patch deployment, software distribution, drive mapping configurations, Active Directory integration, BitLocker policies, and remote office management from a centralized platform. While some troubleshooting was required for advanced scenarios, the product proved to be powerful, reliable, and highly customizable.

Pros

Endpoint Central provides a wide range of endpoint management features in a single console, including patch management, software deployment, remote control, configuration management, BitLocker management, and inventory reporting. I particularly liked the flexibility of the configuration engine and the ability to manage both Windows and Linux devices. The product offers excellent value for money compared to many competing solutions.

Cons

Some advanced configurations require significant troubleshooting and log analysis when issues occur. User-based configurations can sometimes be difficult to diagnose because the deployment status does not always immediately reveal the underlying cause. The interface is feature-rich but can feel complex for new administrators due to the large number of available modules and settings.

Very good, once you start using it you get the hang of how to, my most used is reviewing system, software, audits, remote connection, some deployments but mainly now remote control for quick connection to users. I tried this mainly on Opera and occasionally on edge, seems good, occasional issue loading but could be my network. Is lightweight with users, I was connected with a user that had 1mbps down and 1.5mbps up and still was ok, didn't crash or even pixelate.

Pros

Works to manage most everything you may need without a windows pro or enterprise license as I had some endpoints with home version. Can manage view connect push software and maintain quick access to troubleshoot with employees. Setup is simple and has many customizable options for what you want to achieve. Cost is very nice, free version has allowed us to explore a bit further with up to 25 endpoints, making us plan how this will improve when we increase the demand for 2 dollars once we cross this limit, I believe its hard to beat.

Cons

After initial installation of agent sometimes it would delay on scanning or agent would not work appropriately, would need system reboot or reinstalling agent, would appreciate quicker process here for new devices. Has many options that I have not explored yet for patching updates software uninstallation. Learning curve on the UI but once understood is easier.

Years of imaging PCs. Maintaining inventory. Updating systems. Remotely install needed software to your all of your systems at once. Biggest piece for Tech support is the remote capability. File transfer to remote stations. Great all around tool for managing a large scale environment.

Pros

Great way to Image PCs, Manage updates. Push software. Remote shadowing capability is good. Built in reporting helps us keep up on all of our inventory status.

Cons

Wish it had a remote invite so you could help people not in your environment. Also wish they had the ability to use intel MEBX pre-boot environment.

Was known as Bomgar back in the day. Way more capable product for overall endpoint maintenance and management
