The Software Catalog feature has been invaluable. We have a need to keep quite a large number of different software packages updated on computers that are in use around the clock. Software Catalog allows us to enable end users to keep these packages up to date.

There is a learning curve, although documentation is quite good.

The most impactful feature are the patch management and the remote desktop service. Its very easy to use, and the software deployment has saved us valuable time.

I tested and used many products. This one was the easiest to get up and running, and "just worked"

Pros

Ease of use, speed of setup. Love the single pane of glass and fluidity between sections of the console.

Cons

Had random issues with remote support not connecting. Could be isolated to my environment, Its rare and possibly not the products fault.

Patching and Remote Tools - allows us to support our equipment well

Patch Management - Would like to have the ability to create groups of devices and manually deploy based on patch assignments. this would allow for quick ability to deploy patches to multiple items, but still have the agility to control when patch goes out

Pros

So far using the End Point Central have help so far have a good inventory. But it just not inventory of hardware but also software. Finding which computer have which software and version have become difficult but with Endpoint central it has helped a lot on having a bigger understanding on the environment. The good thing is End Point Central has helped with software patches, inventory module and Os deployment. I also like that it has a remote desktop so I so that was a plus as well. Glad I was able to find this product.

Cons

Hard to say so far it has met my expectation at the moment. No Complaint at all.

I have been using other software products to manage patches remotely. I have been testing out the product for the past 2 weeks and am considering moving to this product. Many more third party applications supported.

Cons

I would prefer to have an easier way to manage devices into groups for ease of assigning patches, configurations, etc.

The package offers a number of options that cover Mobile devices, Windows, Chromebook etc and the entire suite offers a vast array of features and functions covering all aspects of device management. All this from a respected company and at a great price when compared with alternatives. If you what a fully featured suite then Desptop central is the one

You need to spend a sensible amount of time reading the literature and watching videos but the great thing is that the help material is vast and comprehensive. Not always intuitive

Once you get a hang of this, I don't think anything else compares to Desktop central, feature wise and Easy Usability wise.

Pros

Patch management Asset management Robust system Ease of use with fairly simple UI

Cons

Some really good features (example: running windows native tools) are quite hidden and difficult to access

Overall great experience. Still in the trial phase but fully plan on making a purchase once fully vetted.

Pros

Extremely easy to use. The setup and deployment of the agent is very straightforward. The patch management is easy to use and provides great insight into the health of your environment.

Cons

I think it would be useful to have more filtering options for the custom groups and the ability to use the custom groups for more things.

The product works great. I had many tickets open with MEEC in the beginning for patches but once they were sorted out, we starting having much success in patching our servers and workstations.

Pros

Easy to deploy, status manager is easy to read and understand.

Cons

at first, we had issues where patches failed but support was able to walk us through the fixes fairly quickly.
