It is very easy to install and configure solution, immediately providing impressive amount of knowledge and management over the connected landscape. Support is proactive and friendly, always reacting on request with very short terms.

Pros

Endpoint Central consists of gigantic amount of modules, having nearly no other contestants on market. Endpoint Management, MDM, Device Enrollment, Endpoint Security features -> usually it requires multiple solutions, while Endpoint Central consists of them all, which is impressive from cost perspective as well.

Cons

We found that if workstation has agent from "previous installation" (for example, from some historical not cleaned PoC) and there is no "previous" Endpoint Central server available - the only option is to gather data using special tool, send it to support and receive specific cleaning tool, otherwise you can't install "current" agent. On one hand - it is not a big problem because way to fix it is straightforward, on other hand - would be better if we could do it without engaging support.

Its biggest strength is consolidation—allowing IT teams to handle patch management, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting from a single platform. This automation significantly reduces manual workloads and simplifies compliance. However, the overall experience is often tempered by a dated, cluttered interface and a steep learning curve. While reporting can be rigid and complex setups tedious, most organizations find that the operational savings outweigh the UI quirks, making it a highly reliable enterprise tool.

Pros

It simplifies daily operations by combining patch management, software deployment, asset tracking, and remote troubleshooting into a single console. Users highlight its automation capabilities—especially for OS and third-party patching—as a massive time-saver that minimizes manual effort and boosts security compliance. Additionally, the ease of use, quick setup, and responsive support make it a highly practical, cost-effective solution for managing a massive fleet of diverse endpoints without the usual tool sprawl.

Cons

What IT professionals tend to like least about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its cluttered, legacy user interface. The sheer volume of features can make the console feel overwhelming, leading to a steep learning curve for new administrators. Users frequently report that the reporting tool lacks flexibility, making it difficult to generate highly customized compliance reports without significant manual tweaking. Additionally, while the core agent is powerful, it can occasionally be resource-heavy on older endpoints, and the initial setup and configuration process for complex, multi-site networks can feel tedious and disjointed.

Endpoint Central stands out as a well-rounded tool that brings multiple endpoint management capabilities into a single platform. It’s particularly strong in environments where IT teams need to manage patching, deployment, and endpoint visibility without investing in multiple enterprise-grade tools.

Pros

It combines patch management, software deployment, remote access, asset management, and security controls in a single platform. It also reduces the need for multiple tools.

Cons

The deployment and configuration—especially in large environments—can be time-consuming. It requires proper planning for agents, network settings, and policies.

Overall, the experience has been great as the platform provides comprehensive visibility across all endpoints. Its diverse feature set enables us to efficiently handle configurations and administrative tasks remotely, eliminating the need for physical intervention with end users

Pros

The ManageEngine interface is clean, user-friendly and easy to navigate. This really helps a lot especially for admins to utilize this tool.

Cons

The agent deployment process lacks visual feedback especially after approving the laptops. Without a progress bar or status indicator, it is difficult for us to immediately verify whether the agent has successfully connected to the cloud or not

My overall experience with Endpoint Central has been positive. There are several features to it that allow me to manage PCs easily. Customer service is always very responsive and has walked me through several troubleshooting steps.

Pros

Intuitive menu for the amount of features that are available. Configurations are very customizable. Several helpful ways to set up automations for device management. Deploying new software works well. Customer support has been helpful when putting in tickets.

Cons

The agent can sometimes take some extra time or restarts to load on to the PC. There could be more communication on why a configuration did not work, though this can be programmed to make a log.

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been very positive. The platform simplifies endpoint management, patch deployment, remote support, and device monitoring in a single console. Deployment was smooth, and the solution helped improve operational efficiency and security management across endpoints. It is reliable, scalable, and suitable for organizations looking for a strong unified endpoint management solution without excessive complexity or cost.

Pros

ManageEngine Endpoint Central provides a very complete and easy-to-use solution for endpoint management. I especially liked the centralized dashboard, remote troubleshooting features, software deployment, and patch management capabilities. Device enrollment and endpoint monitoring are straightforward, which saves a lot of time for IT administrators. It also offers very good value for money compared to similar enterprise solutions, and the customer support team is responsive and helpful.

Cons

Some advanced configurations and reporting options can take time to fully understand for new users. The interface could also feel slightly overwhelming at first because of the large number of available features. However, after some usage, navigation becomes much easier.

overall, it has been positive but I feel the interface could use some improvements. The patching deployment portion is probably the most in need of improvement as it is hard to understand.

Pros

Central way to manage workstation patching. Clear list of outstanding patches and workstations, good inventory of endpoints, agent install is fairly simple

Cons

interface is confusing, deployment is hard to get right. It is hard to tell why patches fail and modifying deployments is difficult. Sometimes it is frustrating.

Endpoint Central was my first endpoint management solution and I have not ever considered changing. It does everything I need and more! The support system is top notch and I don't think any other product can match it. It is extremely easy to use, learn and achieve more than I ever thought I could do to assist me daily. I use it everyday and don't know what I would do without it. If they can improve on update communication and change within tools and features that would be an advantage.

Pros

I enjoy Endpoint central's ease of use, from patching to software deployment its very simple and easy to learn. The customer support is extremely good, probably one of the best support systems I have ever used, speaking to technical support takes seconds to achieve and the outcomes are usually helpful.

Cons

The worst thing about Endpoint Central for me would be their communication, I have had it happen multiple times where a key feature I use has been removed or modified without prior knowledge. When features and tools are changed it would be nice for more acknowledgement in the UI rather than just notifying on change log notes as they can be quite long and most parts may not affect me.
