Leisure experience, I've already dealt with other software that really left something to be desired. This platform meets many requirements and reduces a lot of configurations previously done via GPO.

Pros

one of the best and easiest software to manage that I've ever seen, I think the MDM part still needs a bit of development, but the important thing is that everything that's proposed works properly.

Cons

Some settings are outdated and only apply to Windows 8 or 10—they don’t work on Windows 11. For example, the screensaver, which is in SCR format, mostly doesn’t work, or at least it didn’t in any tests I did.

Manage Engine has been the solution we were looking for. While it was a company decision to adopt it, I have found that I have been able to learn how to use, configure and manage the devices I support in Manage Engine.

Pros

ManageEngine Endpoint Central allowed us to explore patch management and the automated patch deployment which was available within. Beyond this, it highlighted vulnerabilities in a clear layout which allowed us to plan and action on an each device basis. We also have found that customer support is great with multiple levels of support as well as the chat feature which allows you to speak to someone very fast.

Cons

Configuration was tricky to begin with, with a lot of self teaching on how to use the product. I found that support times can be slightly longer than desired at times but I understand the resource limitations that this service may have.

Very good so far - We have been using endpoint central for a while now and are happy with what we have seen so far.

Pros

Remote Control feature, patch notifications, inventory and software metering, patch repository, mac patching

Cons

Not used enough yet to answer this fully - We are finding that devices that are online are showing offline in endpoint central - We need to work out why

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. The platform provides a comprehensive and centralized solution for managing endpoints, including patch management, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting. One of the key strengths is its ease of use, with an intuitive interface and automation capabilities that significantly reduce manual effort and streamline daily IT operations. However, there is room for improvement in product support. In some cases, the support provided after raising a ticket does not meet expectations in terms of responsiveness and resolution quality. Despite this, the product remains a strong and reliable solution for enterprise endpoint management.

Pros

Endpoint Central simplifies endpoint management through a single console, automation, and an intuitive interface, making it easy to deploy, manage, and secure devices at scale.

Cons

Product support needs improvement. In some cases, the support provided after raising a ticket is not up to the expected standard.

Overall, Endpoint Central is a powerful and reliable tool for managing endpoints, patching, and deployments in an enterprise environment. It significantly reduces manual effort through automation and centralized management. However, improvements in collaboration features (like sharing custom groups) and flexibility in modifying configurations would greatly enhance usability.

Pros

Centralized platform for patch management, software deployment, and endpoint control Easy to create configurations (registry, scripts, policies) and deploy at scale

Cons

Custom groups created by technicians are not visible to other technicians with the same role, causing operational dependency Limited collaboration capability compared to tools like SCCM (device collections are shareable there) Some configurations cannot be modified once deployed, requiring duplicate configurations Patch reporting and device sync status can sometimes be inconsistent or delayed

It has helped streamline endpoint management, patch deployment, software distribution, and remote support across our environment. The platform is reliable, feature-rich, and has significantly reduced manual administrative effort while improving operational efficiency and device security.

Pros

ManageEngine Endpoint Central provides excellent value for money with a comprehensive set of endpoint management features. I particularly like its patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, and device management capabilities. The platform is easy to use, highly customizable, and supports automation that reduces manual effort. Customer support is responsive, and the solution has helped us efficiently manage Windows and macOS devices while improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Cons

The user interface can sometimes feel complex, especially for new administrators. Certain advanced configurations and troubleshooting tasks require a learning curve, and reporting could be more intuitive. Additionally, support response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue.
