Pros Scriptrunner is great for extending Jira functionality. We mostly create behaviors and scripted fields to enhance the user experience and collect data points. Also, the packaged JQL functions are very powerful when querying Jira. Cons Online documentation seems outdated sometimes, especially with scriptrunner knowledge base being separated from Adaptavist knowledge base. Community forums help out. Cons The integration with Jira is fine and I don't see how it could be improved, other than perhaps by field ID value suggestions with descriptions of said fields. Pros There are many functions available in the JQL search. This helps us to filter the tasks much better way. The best part is the script updates the filter after a given time. Cons The Enhance search filter query can't be shared to people. The resulting filter that is generated by the ScriptRunner can only be shared.
