Pros: As a Mac/iPhone/iPad user, Numbers is great for a "number" of reasons (pun intended). Handoff works great to start working on one device and to seamlessly pick it up on another. And though it's not known for it's collaboration tools, they actually work quite well. It works great on mobile too, since I can open up a spreadsheet that I've been working on my Mac while I'm on my iPhone and make a few quick edits.

Cons: As with other iWork apps, there's a bit of a learning curve coming from Microsoft Office. Sometimes when I go to enter a function that is second nature in Excel I may have trouble finding it.

Pros: Since Apple invented their own Office software it has given Microsoft a run for its money. Now standard with all Mac's Numbers is a great platform for making charts, graph's, excel sheets, etc. I use it monthly in making lesson plans.

Cons: If you create something in on the Numbers platform and save it to iCloud and then want to download it to an iPad there may be some conversion differences depending on what OS your system is running on. So, make sure all your devices are up to date.

Pros: It is designed really well, easy to use, and intuitive. I enjoy using this over other programs for those reasons.

Cons: While I like to use Numbers, sometimes it is missing functionality that is available in other programs. I would say it is less well-rounded than it could be, but it does have most core functions available.

Pros: As any spredsheet software, it can do many different things, normal stuff for a spredsheet software. It is nice that you can save automatically on iCloud by the way.

Cons: the problem with Numbers is that it is far away from the Excel's level. You can't sweep the formulas or, at least, I don't know how to. There are a lot more of examples that I can't even remember. It is incredibly disappointing.

Overall: I don't use it. I downloaded Microsoft's Excel instead.

Numbers is basically the Apple version of Excel. It is easy to use and navigate.

Pros: I like this software has the design as most apple products. However, one must be familiar with a Mac in order to use the system. It is easy to move items around and the design is very crispy and clean.

Cons: I hate that this product does not easily convert to Excel. In order to send this to someone who does not have an Apple product, I need to convert it to Excel first. Remember to do this step can be time consuming.

Pros: I like the ability to import, edit and save Excel files with ease via Numbers. As a Windows PC user but an iPhone owner, it's important for me to find apps that are a good bridge between the two and Numbers fits the bill

Cons: The functionality of Numbers definitely takes some getting used to but that's a minor aside; I have no complaints otherwise.

Pros: It's valuable product available at no cost and allows me to visually see the growth (or decline) of my service sales over a period of time.

Cons: It's capabilities are relatively limited, especially with the visual graphics, but for a free software it's tough to complain. Still a great product.

Pros: The software is convenient and at no cost, is well worth the time to use. It's intuitive design makes it simple to create small projects for almost any task.

Cons: It can be a bit tricky to use on an iPad, I'm sure it's easier on a desktop. It's difficult sometimes to rearrange objects, charts, etc. on the iPad.

Pros: Easy to use, good interface and easy to collaborate in cloud. Exports are easy inclusive for dummies.

Cons: The price is a bit expensive, but not too. The last version its a little more complicated to use than previous.

Numbers is packed of pros and cons, depending on the platform you've downloaded the app.

Pros: The Numbers app has come to provide a similar experience to what Excel could do on PC years before. You can easily drop, create tables, and modify values easily. Highly recommended as an alternative to the PC program since it's not available for mobile devices. Would still suggest checking the cons below...

Cons: The Numbers app is a drop-in replacement for the Excel program provided by Windows. Thought, the mobile app (iOS) is packed of a ton of bugs -- would not use this on production.

Pros: I love that you are able to take your work anywhere on your iOS devices and create and edit spreadsheets whenever you want.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to use with a smaller device like an iPhone and iCloud is slow on my PC, but that is not really the program's fault, but it makes it less enjoyable to use.

Pros: This program comes free with the purchase of any Apple device. It¿s a great alternative to Microsoft Excel without the expense. Document files are also compatible with Office files.

Cons: My biggest complaint about this software is that you need to export and import documents in order for them to make them compatible to Excel. This makes sharing files a challenge when so many users already use Excel.

Numbers is the simplest spreadsheet program I've ever used.

Pros: Numbers makes it easy to build multiple spreadsheets and set up multiple formulas. It's also very easy to make them look good and simple for reviewing with clients.

Cons: The only negative comment I can make is regarding the issues with integrating .pptx files and Numbers files. Of course, that's an issue that may never be resolved, but trying to open a .pptx file with Numbers, or a numbers file with Powerpoint can be frustrating.

Overall: The biggest benefit in using Numbers as a spreadsheet program was the time I saved having to try and make my spreadsheets look presentation ready.

Pros: The visual presentation of this software is the most appealing part. Compared to Excell or Google Sheets, I find myself wanting to use Numbers just because the visuals look better.

Cons: The lack of simple share functionality between people has caused me to switch to either Excell or Sheets. It could be I just don't know how to do it, or I don't know enough other Mac people, but that's the primary reason I don't use this software anymore.

I use this software to create all of my company invoices. It's very easy to use.

Pros: I like that you can work off of a template fairly easily to create multiple copies. It's also very helpful to use for invoicing.

Cons: Not everyone has this software on their computers, so I often have to export to pdf for readability.

Pros: Wide variety of applications is a great feature I enjoy about this

iCloud integration is a nice touch as well

Cons: Lost a lot of its ease in functionality when they took away the data entry tools
Hard to navigate, can't copy multiple cells, etc
