Numbers provides me a more streamlined experience and ease of use, not so bogged down with so many extras. I appreciate spreadsheets not spanning thousands of cells standard. Pros Ease of use and learning new product. Switching from Excel to Numbers was a breeze Cons May not have all the “extras” that excel has but it is more user friendly and has just what is needed. Pros The flexibility of including lines and even more sheets within the same spreadsheet, something that you can't do in Excel. It's a real revolution. Il software è semplice da utilizzare, la formattazione della pagina, dal testo alle tabelle, è molto intuitivo. Cons La sezione relativa alle formula è più difficile da utilizzare rispetto ad altri software. Forse per file più complessi è meglio trovare un'altro software. La dimensione dei file è molto grande. The iCloud syncing needs to be reliable. Pros I have used Numbers for many years and it is a very high-quality tool. The in-app support (e.g. with formulae) is helpful, and I have learned a lot as a result! It is straightforward to make the sheets and charts look really good, including using brand colours. I like that Numbers is a native app on my devices, and the hand-off means I can access it on desktop, laptop and phone. Cons The syncing with iCloud has been a bit patchy recently. I don't expect bugs like this to happen with Apple: their stuff so often works perfectly, and doesn't need defragging. I use Google Sheets as well as Numbers and am finding that the interface in Sheets is more intuitive than Numbers - for example, when manipulating data. The sharing and collaboration works really well too. Cons Compared to Excel, Numbers does lack some features, however option to export to Excel is the saving grace. It is largely a matter of preference and if users are more familiar with MAC OS or Windows Pros It is native to Apple, integrates with all of Apple's OS and iOS platforms, and the options between mobile versus desktop are not as limited as they are on Google Sheets. It is cloud based like Google, which is better than Excel. Cons The software is usually less intuitive than excel, which is the platform most users are familiar with. Cons It is a bit different from Excel and takes some doing to find the location of certain features. It can be done, but might need to watch some tutorials or look up where features/functions are located. Well, my favorite feature has to be file conversion. This is an area where other software has often fallen short. I can take virtually any data file format, and input it into numbers, and I can convert numbers files to .xls or .csv with ease. Cons The most difficult thing about numbers is the learning curve. If one is used to using other spreadsheet applications, it takes some time to figure out where everything is. What’s the person overcomes those early? Difficult difficulties, numbers is quite simple to use. It has a reasonable feature set and can import excel and csv files. The UI is OK not the best UI that I've seen but also not the worst. Cons I have been using Excel and Google Sheets for a long tiem so it would take me a lot to move away from them. Numbers seems ok but its not good enough to make me switch over.
