PhD candidate Research Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Working environment and communication made better" April 21, 2020 4.0 Pros Compared to traditional communications such as mail or messengers, this app enables the team to communicate more efficiently and easily. Making chat rooms exclusive for a team or sharing a variety of files is intuitive and convenient. Also, it supports several platforms including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, etc, and connecting external apps for further expandability. Reliability of the app is adequate and it hardly crashes. Cons Although this app is more affordable than its competitors, it still is not negligible when the size of your team gets bigger. We felt back then that we needed a systematic way to sort and organize all company related information instead using consumer-based messenger. JANDI's topic based organization was super easy for us to create topics related to each store, products, company announcements and promotional material for our staff. Upon with the read receipt option, I was able to know that each message was delivered and read properly. Pros The never expired document/photo storage. Super quick searches, and the file is always ready for preview even tracking a few months back. Setting software notification off after work hours, and turning on vacation mode during my off days. Cons I wish there was the option to login with my fingerprints / facial recognition (just the way how I would unlock my iPhone). Alternatives considered [Slack](https://www.capterra.com/p/135003/Slack/) Reason for choosing Jandi Language support (Traditional Chinese) wasn't available on Slack, JANDI also offered internal training if needed. The company was using JANDI and asked us to join the software to be able to check the team mission and stuff. Pros I like the fact that is really private, only people in the griup can acces it and also it has a lot of options such as To-do list and the infos about separate members, the department they are part with. Good software for a company chat rooms Cons Maybe that it takes a lot of space and is diffixult to find the download files. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Director of Marketing Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Convenient and simple" April 23, 2020 5.0 I've been using it for several years for a several different teams, we use it regularly to coordinate projects, we use it to share images and files which is a great feature, we have bots set up that send reminders about various events, we have separate rooms for different departments in an organization. Pros It's very easy to get the hang of and start using. You have a main page with all the teams your part of and you have your workspaces within for those teams, where you can organize chatrooms and post things. We are reducing our internal response times which allows us to actually focus on our business. We have setup a few google form integrations which are allowing better visibility to our managers. Pros There are a few key points to mention regarding the ease of use about Jandi. 1) Learning the software. Just dive in and you will easily learn how to use it. 2) It's compatibility. Drag & drop, screenshot sharing, image uploads are all easily doable while using Jandi. 3) User friendly. Easily organized and well thought out. 4) Integrations. Allows you to integrate daily sales and this helps us be more agile when making business decisions. Cons There are a few features that could be implemented like: 1) The option to edit text (i.e. underline, indent highlight, auto bullets & numbering, etc.) 2) A calculator can be added in the side panel. Hope it can gain more flexibility on the additional plug-ins. (e.g. Project management functions) Pros The interface is clean and easy. Especially for non-engineer colleagues, they prefer Jandi a lot more than Slack. Cons Extension/ plug-in stuff. The choices are pretty limited. I can create new topics and new message group easily. Cons So far, very little that I do not like about the software. Pros Since I mostly teach motion graphics at school, the file size limit(300MB) is great for uploading.
