It also integrated really well with my Quickbooks online Cons I like everything about this software and will keep using it until Quickbooks come up with a better solution for their payroll. Pros Having time cards and payroll on line is a time and frustration saver. No more trying to read employees' handwriting and figuring out hours to the minute. With Square payroll time cards my team just clocks in and out, Square figures all hours for me. Now I can run payroll with a click of the button. Anytime I've had a question I have been able to get a live person on the phone to assist. Very helpful and professional. Pros The product is easy to use and offers all the payroll options I need. I particularly like the ability to turn payroll in automatically. I recently went on vacation and was concerned about how I would make sure my assistant was paid while I was away. After a very short learning curve, I'm set up and the cost is perfect for my size company. Cons Occasionally I find the interface less intuitive than I'd like. But once setup, those issues disappear. Workers compensation insurance is also tied in with our payroll and automated through square. Super quick to import time sheet data from Homebase and use in Square. Cons Minor issues with importing time sheets from homebase with some employees. The hours will not import into square some of the time. Inability to use two seperate pay rates for same employee. Pros First thing that comes to mind is the fact the price structure is simple. Its a flat price and has been very east to you.. im very happy to have found it. I like that it calculates the hours and wages as I am logging them in. it's a solid labor tracker. Cons When I fill in a time card it seems to have a problem with 1:15. It keeps wanting to say 11:50. Also, I track hours manually and then add them all in at once. Doing this, I am required to add breaks by doing to sets of time punches for one day. This takes a while. I used to try and manage this manually and it was frustrating at best and very expensive when I made a mistake at the least. Cons I really have no cons. Pros Easy to use, reporting is exactly what I need. The reminders have saved me so many times. Cons I have not figured out how to use the employees app to submitting time card to Square. I have had to enter it at the Square Payroll rather than relaying it through the possible phone app. I need training. Is their a phone customer service available? Reason for choosing Square Payroll It was less expensive and way easier to use. Pros It is quite easy to set up. The customer service was good. There was a taxation letter sent from the IRS that the Square helped me fix. Cons So far so good. I like the fact that they keep it Simple! My time is at a premium so I don't want to spend it sitting at a desk figuring out our payroll. Cons Keep it SIMPLE! Make it easier to add or deactivate a employee. Give me a daily report on hours scheduled vs. Actual hours worked. Adding and subtracting people is set up well although the email function this is supposed to let employees fill out all of their info does not always work well and employees don't always get the email. Cons When trying to add in hours and tips you have to highlight the 0.00 and delete it because if u start typing and the cursor is to the left it will add the zeros to the end of the number.
