We have not used it a lot yet as we just started but look forward to using this more. Pros It is an easy to use product. It also makes processing payments easier than using other payment processing software. Clients seem to like that we are able to offer this. Cons There are processing fees that we have to calculate so we can inform our clients the amount that needs to be paid and that can be hard to calculate accurately. Review Source AS Ana S. Pros The most I like about this software is how easily it is to use. The app doesn't crash like most do these days. Cons I have no issues with Square. Pros The feature I like the most about this software is that I have the option to get an email receipt when I pay for something using this method. Pros This was helpful when paying other vendors or clients paying for sessions when they did not have venmo or cashapp. It's easy to use with credit cards Cons The fees are a bit high but other apps also charge fees as well. It's about the same fee cost. I liked being able to give my clients this option for payment. Pros I liked the convenience of of the square. Anywhere you have service you can receive a payment. This makes it great especially for small businesses ran out of your home. Cons There really is nothing that I don't like about the product. They do start charging a % after you hit $1,000 in charges, but that is expected with a "mostly free" product. Pros Portable payment devices make each transaction seamless. It is especially useful for crowded situations and closing checks out for turnover. Square definitely made it easy and their little training bites along the way made it even easier to get set up. Setting up was easy as well. Can take anywhere. Cons Cost to use per credit card swipe. While I imagine others also charge, I am not aware of the differences, but I don't like having to pay a credit card swipe fee per transaction. For that reason I do not utilize it much and stick to our CRM that can do without the fee. Pros It is easy to integrate into clients' websites or online stores, it allows you customize with logos for the businesses who use this service. They are so companct Cons probably nothing, i only pay so there is not much i can say besides it quick and efficient. It ask if email or receipt maybe can be annoying but i fill to each their own.
