Pros

I really love that I can accept payments right on my phone it's so much less of a hassle it's awesome plug in the little square reader swipe the card and bam payment received

Cons

There is really nothing that I can honestly say that I didn't like about this product

I've had a great experience using Square and never had an issue with getting payments processed into the bank.

Pros

We used this for concerts to help us with selling advance tickets, tickets at the door and using it for credit card sales. It was a great system to use and efficient. Would definitely continue to use.

Cons

There wasn't much I didn't like about it. They are up front about fees and the percentage that they take from your sales. There's nothing hidden.

Square has made it easy for me to accept payments, issue refunds, and use the money in my square account with a dedicated debit card.

Pros

I love that I can connect Square to my CRM and clients can easily pay their invoices with any credit card. It simplifies and streamlines the client on-boarding process. And with my square debit card, I can use the money that's in the account without having to transfer it to my bank.

Cons

I have no complaints! Square is easy to use. The mobile app is very convenient and it integrates well with my CRM.

### "Your garage sale hero"

Pros

You can accept credit cards or debit cards anywhere. Gone are the days of only accepting cash at garage sales or other events. The transactions are fast and easy. The UI is simplistic and clean. There are no monthly fees and funds are transferred in a couple of days. Overall, this is a great product.

Cons

The 2.75% fee per transaction may eat away at your profit, but then again, not being able to accept credit/debit cards can too.

Overall I am happy with the Square payment app. A feature they have which can come in super helpful is that you can set up your daily deposit time. You can make it as early or as late in the day as you would like, depending oon your hours of business. You can also do instant deposit which is great. You get your money instantly in those times where you may be low on cash it can come in very handy.

Pros

Square payments is great for companies that are on the go. We are a plumbing and heating company and our techs out in the field use Square payments to take payments for jobs right on the spot. You can even invoice right from Square and send them to your customers while out in the field

Cons

Like i mentioned above it's a great way for service companies to take payments but the site as a whole seems to be geared more toward the e-commerce type of sale. When setting up your page you are left to work with what you have and make it come across in the best way possible. You can make it work you just need to be creative

Pros

Square payments really helped us out to solve our payment processing features. Documentation is in good shape and overall integration was easy

Cons

we found quite difficult to browse about the legal aspects of the Square Payments service, this was the key decision factor for us, so it would be helpful if the key legal aspects are better emphasized.

I use this payment processing system for both my photography business and print shop, its great for both, we can send payments, and the clients can easily pay it and it helps us when clients pay early or on time. Great for small business and very practical as well.

Pros

The design of the payment processing is super clean, simple and straightforward. It is very user friendly, and clients and employees both find it very easy to navigate. There is never any confusion since everything is so clear cut.

Cons

I have had absolutely no issues with this software whatsoever. It gets the job done, quickly and simply.

It's extremely simple to setup an account and the products to sell. Very user friendly interface and simple setup. Very easy to integrate into an existing ecommerce platform / website.

Cons

I have no complaints. It's very simple to configure and great for our customers to use.

### "A solid option for SME payment processing"

Pros

For a small business owner, Square helped tremendously with the migration to credit cards. It made it very easy to track transactions and avoided a lot of printing of paper receipts through their email option. I appreciated the flat rate pricing and no monthly fees. Square's technology reads chips well and makes it easy to add service tips, where appropriate.

Cons

Customer service is sometimes challenging to deal with, especially when dealing with customer disputes. Linking accounts or handling physical business moves can also be difficult.

Pros

User interface is excellent, if you need a quick and fast setup the entire Square POS setup is great and looks very clean.

Cons

The rates for credit processing are not in line with the industry, for small companies who have no leverage this may be a good solution, but realistically above 1mil+ in credit cards per year you can cut this rate in half, Square wouldn't work with us on rate reductions, either way saving $1000's now.

Pros

I like how you can customize your items with color-coding and even label each. All of these changes can be made extremely easily. Discounts can also quickly be edited. The screen we see as a business and the screen we show the customers both look beautiful and simple. It is easy to figure out what to do. Integrates wonderfully with the iPad. I can easily email customers receipts and Square automatically saves this information for future purchases. Looking up old transactions is easy as well. I can search by amount, customer name or customer email.

Cons

I'd say I only don't like how the label for an item is short. I wish I could have more characters, maybe with just a smaller font.

Pros

You can accept basically any form of payment; cloud resources allow you to easily accept payments from multiple locations.

Cons

Square Payments Processing is a little pricier than the bank-owned option we were using, but being able to take payments from multiple locations makes it worth it.

I have loved the convenience and ease of using Square. I love the online portal and the option to receive free processing fees when we refer others!

Pros

I really like that they give you a variety of options and tools to process payments. I love that it holds tha transactions of the clients.

Cons

I think the fees are a little too high for the mental health industry. The swiper at times does not work, so you have to struggle with it, but it goes through eventually.

Cons

A lower fee would be great, but they are in business to make money- as we all are.

Square is easy and mobile. It is easy to get up and running, getting on with business. I appreciate the simplified fees over all cards; makes bookkeeping much easier. You are able to go back and forth in each transaction for simple corrections, re-sending receipts, etc.

Pros

No compounded fees for terminal and transactions. Mobile. Connects with WiFi, so no extra electrical or wiring installation needed.

Cons

Least - no Interac payments over $100.00.

We tripled our profits using the Squares because we were the only group at the Football and Basketball games that could take credit cards for concessions and "Spirit Gear".

Pros

The ease of use and the fact that we can use the square readers and software on multiple devices made this an ideal solution.

Cons

The wireless readers often have to be reconnected multiple times, especially if the device goes to sleep. The plugin devices are a little cumbersome and require a headphone jack which a lot of devices no longer have.

Reason for choosing Square Payments

The cost was lower and compatibility worked better.

Pros

This software simply put is AMAZING! Sign up is free, they send you a little square card reader that plugs right into your headphone Jack. And people can easily pay you by simply swiping their card. So easy and convenient!

Cons

I have never had any issues with the Square app. Everything has always run smoothly. Insert reader, swipe, done.

It works easily on mobile devices. The swipe tool was a speedy alternative to manually keying numbers.

Cons

The swipe tool seldom worked. The fees that were charged for use. More could have been done to introduce the product on a wider scale.

Pros

In over 10 years of use, have not had a single problem using this software or the card swiping units.

Pros

I do not have anything positive to report on this software. I do not like it. I had nothing but problems with it.

Cons

EVERYTHING! I had nothing but issues with this software. I never received the reader. I had to repeatedly set up my account to be able to take payments. Like it wasnt saving or something. It wouldnt link to any of my other accounts, making it impossible to transfer money in and out. And then when I closed my account and transfered my balance to another account it took 1 month for it to hit my other account!! I could never get any help from customer service on any of this. All the way around a horrible software in my opinion.
