Square is so easy to use. It is so organized and you don't have to jump through the hoops to get paid.

Cons

I don't like how they can put a hold on your payments coming in. I don't like how long thr verification process takes

Pros

It monitors all scheduled incoming payments and ensures that I get paid on time.

Cons

I think the percentage of invoice paid taken by Square could be a little bit less than what it is.

Pros

Square Payments has a good user interface. It has proper features which help to sort out transaction problems. They have adequate customer support. The features of the dashboard are clear and easily understandable.

Cons

Square Payments has less security. I got a call from an unknown number with the name of it. Just need to work on it and all over it is perfect.

### "I love square for my small business"

I run a small business at our local farmer's market and love using Square for my POS. I love the reports I get afterward, I love that it collects email addresses for marketing, and that I can setup my online store via the same account. It really is a great app. I wish more of the features weren't behind the paywall but I still get a lot out of it without using those features.

Pros

\- ease of setup - ease of use - can run your whole business including online sales via single account - easy reports

Cons

\- paywalled features - takes a while to learn and understand all the ins-and-outs - expensive accessories

We use if daily for membership, tuition, and enrollment fees. It is easy to use, offers a variety of billing options, and the fees are incredibly reasonable.

Pros

Easy to set up and use, small business friendly fees, ability to schedule invoices, ability to request deposits, super easy to use mobile platform, reliable deposits.

Cons

some of the reports are difficult to generate, but once you know where they are they are easy to find again.

Overall I am very pleased with Square. I enjoy the convience of having but am disappointed in the high fees for us using Square as a non profit.

Pros

I like that I can use square wherever I go. I have used Square in the city and in the middle of nowhere and worked great in both places.

Cons

I do not like the fee that is associated when the user is a non profit organization. I believe those fees are way to high and should be lowered.

This product has worked for my needs and was easy to learn.

Pros

Square was easy to set up and use out of the box. It has custom options and for the store front collection it was super easy. I even used it for Girl Scout Cookie booths with my daughter and it worked great! The payment plan set up is great as it is flexible and automated.

Cons

Te bank account set up had extra steps with verification that made it tedious.

I love using square because they make sure that you don't have to wait! The deposits are done daily in a timely manner. I also love the square card swiper for in person pos payments!

Pros

The thing I like most about this software is how fast the direct deposit comes in! I don't have to wait multiple days unless it is a holiday. Sometimes on holidays they still post the same day.

Cons

The least liked thing about this software is the fees. I don't care for the card fees that I have to pay for my deposits.

Because how fast they take care of things and how they care for their users!

The most thing I like is that it can well integrated into our app so that customer can use debt or credit card to make transactions online.

Cons

Its transaction fee can add up quickly which could be a big operating cost to reduce our revenue and profit

Pros

Product is easy to use and keeps a history of payments in case you're needing to go back to confirm payments. I also like being able to reimburse if needed.

Cons

I only use the small card reader that Square provided at no charge and I find it has difficulty with various magnetic strips and won't complete the charge.

Pros

This software has made life much easier while working outside or out of office events. The interface is easy to use and very fast.

Cons

The con I've experienced is the connection cord depending on the phone needs an extra piece which isn't always packed (on our end) would be great if it was universal.

Pros

It gives a detail report of items sold, returned, gifted, etc and tracks cash and credit card purchases.

Cons

Daily reports can be a bit confusing if used at multiple sites for sales of different products. Must set up the locations where it will be used and be sure to select the correct location before using.

I have found square very efficient to use and many of the community organizations and even my kids soccer club will use the square trade payment processing for their knees it seems to be a very well-known decently priced product that most people recognize as safe also

Pros

After you take the time to figure everything out it does work fairly seamlessly it can be very confusing though for a first time person trying to work with it but the customer support for Square is excellent

Cons

When I first started using Square I purchased a Square stand and found out that my iPad was too new to use with it it wasn’t compatible so I ended up returning the stand I have not purchased one since I just use my reader on my phone

Reason for choosing Square Payments

Once the program was completely figured out the ease of use and access and cost was far better than PayPal

Pros

They love how easy it is to take payments from Parents, staff, and students. Along with the ability to take payments anywhere in the store.

Cons

Honestly, I can't say anything negative about the service. The only real time we have issues is when our internet is running slow or when signal is weak.

there are situations where asking them to pay via pay-pal just is not convenient for my clients, like face to face meeting. square give us a free credit card reader and the use of an app that turns my phone into a point of sale machine.

Cons

nothing i am willing to pay higher per transaction fees instead of a monthly gateway fee + transaction fees

### "Trusted Credit Card Processing Software "

Whenever I am taking photos on site I am able to process payments very quickly through my phone. It is powerful and very simple to use.

Pros

All my clients know of Square payments and trust it. Accepting payment for onsite services or even after the fact has never been easier.

Cons

The fees are somewhat high but I understand they are in line with the industry norms so acceptable :)

We are able to take payments directly from customers when on the go or if we send someone to a customer location. Instant payment is much easier and faster than sending invoices after the fact.

Pros

The ability to accept payments anywhere. This is really awesome when we are out with clients. No longer have to deal with checks.

Cons

Fees are a little higher than some, but you pay for convenience. Overall very happy with the services.

Overall if Im being objective the app provides a great convenience just don't expect much help when you first need it

Pros

Convenience, ease of use, and a wide range of compatible devices. I first started using the square to increase revenue for our school's booster club and it was a great idea since most people don't carry cash anymore

Cons

The only drawback was the customer service I received when our account was hacked and we lost a sizeable amout of money. at first, they were unhelpful and uncaring when all we needed was a report for our lawyer and bank. we weren't even trying to hold them accountable. After a long game of pass the buck we finally got the answers we needed
