I literally needed they money and they did not care what so ever even with me needing to go buy groceries. I am in a area that a natural disaster occurred and they have no urgency with getting answers for me. No one reaches out to you and it makes me feel as if they do not care Pros Easy to sign up and easily accessed. They need better ways to ensure that the person with the account is verified Cons They flag your account. They ask the same questions to verify yourself when they transfer you to each person you ever speak with i. Regards to getting answers for your account. I am not a fan of this app what so ever. December 3, 2019 5.0 I use Square weekly on the road and have never had an issue. Great customer service, easy to use and low % of overall daily income. Pros I'm on the road 120-140 days a year and sell t-shirts, cd's, stickers, hats and hoodies live at shows. I use square payments on my iPad to process all payments made by consumers live. It's as easy as a cash transaction and can process/transfer to your bank account immediately. They charge the lowest flat rate % and offer email, paper or no receipt options. It also keeps track of your inventory if you enter it all when you're categorizing the items you sell. Cons No cons. It tracks inventory, transfers easily, charges the lowest rate on the market and make it just as easy on the consumer as swiping at a big retail store. Review Source Rebecca K. Pros I've used this software several times and found it extremely easy to use. With little to no direction, I was able to process payments during offsite charitable fundraisers. My favorite part about square is just how easy it is to process payments from your smartphone or tablet using their square reader. Cons Sometimes the portable square reader (being as small as it is) has difficulties reading credit card information. I love the sales summaries that arrive in my e-mail box, and I think that given the payments charged in any financial exchange, the fees are fair. Pros The portability of the Square, and the possibility for using it in almost limitless venues is an advantage I use less now that COVID has reduced my travel, nevertheless it remains a useful way to accept payments. Cons I have had two or three experiences when the reader required several attempts to process a card. As I could see the screen and know that the "Card not charged" message had appeared, this was not a problem. I use it daily in my company and think it is a great payment processor. Pros The product is very easy to use and learn. It can plug in to any device which is very convenient. I've never had an issue with square and been using for a year now. One of the best things to me is all the menu options. I can look at my total sales, total customers and even my average per person Cons The only real downfall is if your listening to music it pauses it and you have to go to notification bar to restart music. Pros I love the ease of a transaction by using square. It is so fast and easy to use for my customers to use as well. It keeps me from losing business because, without it, I would not be able to process card transactions. Honestly, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be able to do what I do. Pros Square was really a game-changer for small businesses. It makes payment processing so simple and keeps track of everything for easy financial information. The ease-of-use and ubiquity of Square makes it a real dream for small businesses. Cons The only problem I've ever had with Square is if I was somewhere with poor cell service, which can make processing payments a nightmare. As long as you're somewhere with decent reception, it's not a problem, but without cell service, it's not functional. Pros Square makes it so easy to take payments as a small business. The website and app are easy to navigate and easy to add items or services for purchase. Cons When I need an answer to a question, the first solution provided by Square is to go through a series of FAQs or read articles about the the issue. Through the square, I can accept card payments for my company when we used to only take cash. Cons I do not like how much money they take from each transaction. In the future, I hope there is a way to do this for free; for this purpose we use companies like Venmo that have virtually no transfer fees. I can keep the reader in my pocket...oh yeah!!! Cons If my other company I use to use had this software I would not have had to switch to Square lol. I can not think of anything I "like least" about this software. It's just simply superior to other programs.
